Lion Country Safari

West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA is next to Lion Country Safari. The attraction has two parks with more than 300 acres of land between them, including a wild 4-mile drive-through safari with hundreds of animals roaming free. The exciting adventure park also offers giraffe feeding encounters, a water park, an animal theater, a petting zoo, lory bird feeding, boat tours, a carousel, mini-golf and a restaurant.

The parks are open year-round at select times during the week and weekend.

Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

Reconnect with nature by spending the day at the Arther R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. The Everglades habitat is over 221 square miles and is home to the American alligator and endangered Everglades snail kite. In any given year, as many as 257 species of birds may use the refuge's diverse wetland habitats.

Henry Morrison Flagler Museum

Today, Whitehall is a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as the Flagler Museum, offering self-guided tours, changing exhibitions, and special programs.
