What is KOA’s National Cancellation Guideline?

Modified National Cancellation Guideline Due to 2020 COVID-19

We have adapted our National Cancellation Guideline to better serve our campers during this changing and challenging time. We hope these changes offer you more flexibility in your outdoor adventures and — importantly — keep you healthy and safe.

NATIONAL CANCELLATION GUIDELINE FOR STAYS FROM MARCH 1, 2020 to APRIL 30, 2020

KOA will allow our campers to either modify or cancel their existing reservations between March 1, 2020 and April 30, 2020 up to 24 hours ahead of the scheduled check-in without a $10 cancellation fee or the loss of their deposit. Campers who cancel within the 24-hour time window of arrival will forfeit their deposit.

For new reservations on or before April 30, 2020 we will allow those reservations to be changed or cancelled with the same cancellation policy above.

We will continue to monitor the situation in both the United States and Canada. We will notify campers and post updates with any changes or extensions.

CAMPGROUND POLICY & NATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR STAY ON OR AFTER MAY 1, 2020

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the campground before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable. Not calling to cancel/no show will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.

RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.

Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival.

Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.

Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.

Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
