Welcome to a Newly Rebuilt Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA Holiday!

Now taking reservations for September 2021 & the 2022 camping season!

We are in the final stages of construction at the Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA! As many of you know, Hurricane Irma devastated our campground and the entire community. Rebuilding takes time, but we are now finishing all construction and looking forward to welcoming back our campers. During this time our limited staff is working hard to rebuild, please refrain from calling the office for any new information. Follow us on Facebook or check the website for the latest details.

Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA will be a completely brand new campground. Future guests will enjoy a beautiful pool, poolside pub with the best cocktails, frozen drinks and ice cold beverages around, waterfront sites, a Kamp K9 for our four-legged campers, a fully stocked Marina store and so much more. Featuring pull-thru, back-end, tent and unique accommodations, we will have something for every kind of camper. While we encourage our guests to explore Key West, there will be plenty of activities, recreation and relaxation to be had at our campground. So if you want to spend a day "in" at KOA, you won't be disappointed.

Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary

The underwater adventure at Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is only a short boat ride away from the campground. The sanctuary contains more than 5-miles of well-developed coral and is home to a diverse fish population. Divers on the northern side can see parrots and surgeonfish while barracudas and and jacks swim on top the reef.

Because this is a Sanctuary Preservation Area some activities are prohibited at Looe Key including harvesting, removing or possing any marine life, and anchoring on living or dead coral. Bait fishing is allowed with a permit.
