We were in Bakersfield for a 5 day event in August, which is not the optimal time to visit due to the heat. But the campground is very conveniently located, had nice tree and shade coverage, and the on-site restaurant was quite delicious! The campsites are spacious and well maintained and we felt very safe in the area. If we ever come back, we would definitely stay again.
Upon arriving I was asked to sign and agree that if we didn’t leave the pet pen in clean condition we would be charged $25.00. Problem is the pen was short of clean. The poop bag disposal can was more than half full and the palm tree had dropped oodles of little orange pods. I had to pick each one up before we could let our dogs into the pen. I filled a gallon bag. The picnic table was very dirt
Except for the heat the stay was great. The paw pens were amazing, such a great addition

Overnight. Used laundry. Used showers. Very nice.

We arrived ahead of check-in but were welcomed with open arms. Had a nice site. The grounds were well kept. We used the laundry which was also very clean. Did not use the pool; however it was very inviting. Did not use restrooms. It was a good stay.
Office closed at 5:00pm. Very few people and I did not feel safe. Area around the campground is in bad shape. They have a pool and other accommodations are good.
Conveniently off I-10. Beautiful views of the mountains. Pool and other amenities are great! Bathrooms clean. We very much appreciate the affordable price.
Nice park, very frendly staff, but too meny trees, had to move three times to get sat reception.

Staff was super friendly, sites were nice and large, didn’t have to squeeze in. We even had enough room to stay hooked up since we were only there for one night. Even with neighbors it didn’t feel cramped. It was extremely hot, but we expected that due to the area and time of year. If we’re in need of a place to stay in the area, we would definitely go back.
A little off my path of traveling along I-40, but not too far. Just out of town. It has to have the most level camping spots of any KOA I have visited.
Large, clean sites. Easy freeway on and off access. Bathroom showers could use some upgrades, they are small. We use this location anytime we’re heading South to get on Hwy 15 or 40 East
Great location and very solid camp ground
Very helpful giving us a prime space for our very old dog that has trouble getting around these days. Thank you Amber!!

Our site 87 was good. Power and water good ,ewer hook ok. Its a older camp was bit tight just pulling into our site had maneuver a bit. We noticed that the park grounds are showing a lot of lack of maintenance in area's. Understand water conservation, but why let a leak run for the 5 days. Pool and patio area was clean as well as spa. Not enough umbrella's for the pool area. no CABLE! NO OTA!
Loved it ..showers are amazing and the creek is so cute..fun little place
wish pool and hot tub could have stayed open till 9pm it closed at 8pm, a little early during the weekdays. other than that, it was relaxing, and weather was great, had a friendly staff willing to help when ever needed.

Wendy was fantastic, answered our questions, provided us with an easy guide of park amenities, and overall provided a pleasant experience.
The staff was AMAZING!! They are the reason why we would come back. Jacob (the lead) and Wendy made our stay so great. The campground itself was ok. You can tell it doesn’t receive as much traffic and needs updates. But again, we would visit again based on those two people alone.
If your used to the city and need a break for an outdoor adventure this is the place to go. It has a country land feeling, lots of stars, peaceful atmosphere, farm animals and they treat you like your part of their family. They do have fire ants but that's part of wildlife so make sure to bring your own ant repellant.
Staff was very friendly but I think the sites are in need of a refresh. Most if not all sites are not on gravel as the website states.
We had a great time on our second stay at this KOA. The staff was friendly and attentive, the amenities are great. My kids (ages 11 and 13) enjoyed the scavenger hunts quite a bit.

Other than choosing a "fish bowl" spot, it was great! My favorite part was getting a nice visit with Danny, site manager 3 years ago!!! He was such a dedicated employee and between he, Scott and Roberto had the place looking wonderful, each of them very proud of their accomplishments through hard labor!!! Danny was wonderful!!! I wasn't fond of the current manager. Charged $10 for early!!!
We love the area and this KOA has a lot of potential. However, the management is not friendly; didn't return my calls when booking; closed the game room at 7pm on a Saturday; the main lodge was so hot in the evenings it was horrible (90+ degrees); fishing closed; wiifi not available; mosquitos very bad lots of bites; petting zoo a joke (3 baby goats).
Traveling home to Washington state from Lake Tahoe decided to have a 1 night stay at Hat Creek. The reservation process was easy and the site was great. We were so relaxed and happy with everything we asked if we could stay another night and were excited Julie was able to make it happen. Thank you so much for a great, relaxing time. We look forward to returning soon!
This campground is one of the nicest we’ve visited. It’s in a good location to visit the LAssen NAtional PArk, and Burney Falls and McCloud Falls. The huge pond in the campground was enjoyable to watch ducks, dragon flies and birds filt about.
Campground was kept clean and staff was very friendly. We stayed for six nights and will definitely be back when traveling up that way again. There also is a little restaurant that’s open on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner that was good and reasonably priced. No complaints about this campground.

Didn’t expect to stay at such a beautiful place! The entire site is so well designed & the landscaping is gorgeous! There’s even a KOA motel on site! Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely want to come back. Our tent site was immaculately landscaped & had a pergola & drop down screen to protect from the sun.
Very nice. Possibly the cleanest campground this side of Florida.
Coleville KOA offers a clean quiet spot with a sparkling pool, large grassy area for the kids to play and beautiful views.

This camp is not well maintained. Sites are very small. They have 1 washer and 1 dryer working. No camp host. Allow homeless people to stay in the cabins if it’s not rented out. A bike was stolen from our group due to the lack of security they have here. Bathrooms are gross and/or out of order. Don’t waste your time and money here.
We booked before the the alert went up on the website so we were surprised at no laundry and no wifi Also ran into no toilet paper a couple times And when the store closed at 4 all week, we never did get in from touring in time. High hopes; it’s the longest KOA stay we’ve ever booked. However, as far as KOAs go, it’s the first sub par rating we’ve given
Needs hooks in changing area of shower Strong cleaning smell. Asked for a cabin change & they said there were none available. However, we know that there were 2 cabins which were the same type as ours that were not occupied. They did wipe everything down again & did give us a fan. Opened windows ate outside. Went to town for the evening came back & it was still strong smelling. Amazing views!
This KOA was under new management. The store didn’t have much (rightly so due to the transition phase). The bathrooms are dated but the staff kept them as clean as they could. We loved our cabin amongst the trees. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this place. We stayed in a deluxe cabin in 2023 & loved our time.
This campsite is in major disrepair. Also very dusty. WiFi useless. Way overpriced for what it is. Small sites. Should never be labeled as a KOA Holiday. No laundry facilities. Staff riding around on a noisy utility vehicle kicking up dust everywhere. Only thing going for it is proximity to Redwoods Park

This is or first time staying at koa /lake Isabella . Me and my family like it because the employees from there they were friendly and always had a good attitude .also everything was very clean
We stayed in a cabin. It was a great escape from the heat with the AC! The group cooking area and the pool were extra fun for meeting fellow travelers and swapping stories.
Very friendly clean campground, and the staff was so nice and welcoming.
Need more trees near K57 and parking was not clearly marked. More efficient air conditioning. Family did enjoy the ice cream social popcorn as well as karaoke. Pool was clean. General store is in need of an overhaul, needs more goods and during the week should be open later. Glad to hear splash pad is in the works that will be a great thing for kids.
Stayed at deluxe cabin. They need to do better with cleaning, bed was very uncomfortable, pool needs better cleaning campground is very outdated. I felt I didn’t get my money worth.

Always a great time at Manchester KOA. We've been a few times, starting around 2020. The park is clean, the sites are pretty spacious, the staff are very nice. I would definitely recommend for campers and RV ers to come.
the trailer we rented has a big soft spot in the floor right outside the bathroom. Felt like were going to fall through the floor. Toilet did not have solids flow out correctly. It was backed up by the time we left. Not a pleasant smell. The staff were very friendly. The campground was clean.

My patio was filthy. Covered in dust. It looked like kids used it as a playground with sticks and rocks all over it. I shouldn’t have to clean the area after arriving after a long day of driving!
This was our first time staying at a KOA site, and everything—from the campsite to the restrooms and showers—was very clean and well-maintained. We stayed at a tent site, and the spacing between sites was generous, which made it feel comfortable and private. There were many families with children, so we felt safe and relaxed. We would definitely love to visit again!

The TRAINS! They were much worse than I was expecting. ï¿½Ï They kept me up all night long. I got maybe 2-3 hours of sleep. However, I am personally a very light sleeper. Those that are heavy sleepers or in trailers/cabins may not be as affected. Other than that, the campsite was absolutely lovely! Well maintained, clean bathrooms, cute pool! Still, this was our favorite campsite of this roadtrip

Great RV park with something for everyone to do. Terrific dog Park!
These sites are huge! Privacy fence, sunken fire pit, shade, and a huge park with lots of walking trails! This park is conveniently located near the Lassen volcano park entrance - making for a great staging area. As a plus- pioneer hills pizza (just down the road) makes one of the best pizzas we have had!

Easy directions to the park, very friendly, Rv pads are level. Great for one overnight stay while traveling.
The ladies in the office were very nice and friendly. My wife said that the lady's restroom was very clean. The men's restroom not so much. The toilets leaked water and it was all over the floor.

Everything was very nice, all staff was exceptional.
We loved the stay there the past 2 visits. 3rd visit was diappointing. We were looking forward to play pool and air hockey but learned we had to pay for it. Not cool. Grounds seemed downgraded.
We had a great time. We rented a cabin and it was really pretty. Everyone was nice, the issue we encountered was the bathroom placement. It was hard to get in and out when someone was using the bathroom. The young woman in the office was so nice and helped us resolve an issue with our membership.

Stayv was great and everything was working and set up by the time we arrived. Everything was super convenient from boat launching to store walking distance. Only thing missing was a pool,but that why we have the river.A little pricey but we also had zero issues.
Only one night but otherwise pleasant. There isn't anything YOU can do about the sweltering weather and noise from the river - and there ARE folks who'd love both!! Clean and well-kept and all utilities worked as they should.

It was a very pleasant experience staying at this RV Resort. The check in went smoothly with friendly helpful staff. The best part was seeing and hearing families having a good time together. Beautiful park but found it to have poor enforcement of noise control. Two night stay and several park guests in my particular Redwood loop area had tvs and music playing outside beyond 11:00 PM and kids speeding up and down the roads on electric scooters late night with no lights. Lots of dogs left outside at camp spot during the day while people vacated for other activities. Uncomfortable stay.
I enjoyed all the trees and Activities available for the whole family. I enjoyed making g my own Tie Dyed shirt.

Quiet during the week and fills up for the weekend. Very dusty, hilly location, so forget bikes. It’s nice that each spot has its own secluded area. Nobody bothered to clean the bathrooms our entire stay of 5 days, nor fix the broken toilet leaking all over the floor. They do a lot of activities for kids on Saturdays. Location is excellent, near lake and Pismo/Morro/etc.
We loved it! Felt so immersed in nature, and there are so many things for kids to do. Definitely returning and have already recommended it to others.
Very nice deluxe cabin clean and comfortable. Really liked the swing on the porch. We would stay here again.
We always enjoy all the activities for the kids. We haven’t been out for bit and the upgrades are really nice. It’s good for me to have WiFi. Michele is absolutely lovely and is the reason we go back. She is on top of every detail with heart and takes time out of her busy day to chat and connect. 5-stars.
Kind staff, spacious,good location, the bathrooms were unclean during our visit. We took pictures to document the lack of cleaning. We understand behaviors cannot be controlled, there was not enough cleaning to keep up with the volume of people over the weekend especially. Gum was in the shower, feces on the toilet handle, little/no refill on toilet paper/paper towels, garbage overflowing.

We had a wonderful stay at a cabin for one week this summer. The cabin had all we needed to enjoy our stay. We got to enjoy the fun pool, biking trails and enjoy watching the sun rise over the mountains. Hope to come back again soon.

We rented 2 cabins and stayed a full week. The campground is great! We have been coming to this campground for 40 years and it has tons of wonderful memories for my family and now grandkids. The lake is fabulous to fish in, paddle board, swim, wake board, etc.... The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Drive through sire had a ditch you had to pull through. Bathrooms are away from most campers and very cramped when trying to shower. Just okay but expected better.
Love this place! Our favorite campground to go with our grandkids. So much for the kids to do. The MTB trails, the maze thing, the jumping pillow, and the pool! Only negative is that the pool is so dang cold! Heating it would be awesome, it's like taking a cold plunge.
We enjoyed everything about the koa has to offer, the activities as well with the customer service is amazing, we are looking forward to doing this again as a family.
It was good until 80 or so kids came with a group and made a lot of noise at night time and made a mess in the girls and boys bathroom.
Great stay, love the river to catch and release fish. The obstacle course added a nice touch. The gem mining was loved by my 10 year old.

We were in a pull through FHU plenty of room for rv and tow. It is a bit of a drive to sequoia but it’s a pretty drive and so with it. Campground was clean quiet and well kept. We would stay here again.
We stay here whenever we pass through the area. Our stay was enjoyable as usual. This is a good KOA with friendly staff .
Friendly staff & clean amenities. Pool was great especially during those hot summer days. Our tent site was right under a tree & though they were close together, still felt private.
We have been coming to this KOA every summer for the last 5 years and it just gets better every time. Always clean and the staff is great! See u next Summer!!
