This beautiful family camping resort is rated one of the top RV campgrounds in California and the premier campground & RV Park resort in the San Francisco Bay area. With 312 spacious sites on 70 Acres, this KOA offers the best in family, group and big-rig RV camping in a rural atmosphere. Explore San Francisco, then relax in the country, just 34 freeway miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy guided tours of San Francisco (departing from the campground May-Oct.) and the Wine Country. This beautiful resort is located on the doorstep of Napa and Sonoma County wineries, giant redwoods, California Coastal Beaches, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Sonoma State University and Infineon Raceway. Our beautiful 70 acre camping resort and RV park was built and is still operated by the Wood family. Chris was a very young child when he began his career as a campground operator. The campground has been operation for over 30 years and still hold true to its original goal of providing beautiful surroundings for family and friends to make memories. The campground has won many national awards for service and facilities, from KOA campground of the year, a 5W rating and continues to be viewed as a premiere RV Park and camping resort of both San Francisco and the Wine Country.
One of our favorite parts of running our camping resort is seeing all of our returning guests each year. We are excited for another great season of fun and seeing all the great friends we have made over the years.

4 New Wine Country Studio Lodges! Come enjoy our latest addition to our Glam camping lineup. Our new Wine Country Studio Lodges are a one room loft lodge with a bathroom, kitchenette, table, gas bbq, picnic table, fire ring and all the stars you can count! The studio lodges sleep 4. The studio lodges are located next to the full size Wine Country Loft Lodges which sleep 6. All of our Lodge units include linens for your convenience. All the fun of camping, all the comforts of home.

World Class Golf Sonoma and Napa Valley are a golfer's paradise. Bring your clubs and enjoy Siverado Country Club, The Chardonnay Club, Rooster Run and Fox Tail Golf course just to name a few. Golf Courses range from PGA to Municipal courses. A driving range is located 2 blocks from the campground entrance!

Beaches A peaceful drive leads to some of the most beautiful coastline California has to offer. Enjoy Fishing, or buy some fresh cracked crab straight off the boat. Spend the day with your toes in the sand then have a scrumptious dinner at one of the many waterfront restaurants! Come build a sand castle!

Location: Petaluma River at the Petaluma Turning Basin from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.; 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Description:
Join Ronn Patterson and Dolphin Charters for a three-hour narrated trip on the Petaluma River. View the commercial and industrial areas of the waterway as the double-decked boat with the picture window departs from the Petaluma River Turning Basin in historic downtown and heads downriver to enter a different world of meadows and oxbows in a scenic wetlands area as the boat winds toward the mouth of the Petaluma River near the Hwy 37 overpass. Learn about the history and importance of the river to the town of Petaluma and the surrounding countryside. See the birds and wildlife (especially with binoculars) that inhabit this special region as the boat cruises downriver and returns. Cost is $35 per person and children must be 8 years or older.
