The chiseled gray granite of the Sierra Nevada rises up behind the Coleville/Walker KOA, situated along the Three Flags Highway (395). It's the perfect base camp in the Eastern Sierra for visiting Lake Tahoe, Reno, Virginia City, Bodie, Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park. The big-rig friendly campground offers Pull-Thru RV Sites and Back-In RV Sites. All sites are full hookup with cable TV, free Wi-Fi and a picnic table. You'll find a full-service restaurant (seasonal), volleyball, horseshoes, ice cream, RV supplies and more. The area is renowned for fishing, hiking and birding as well as riding, whether by ATV, horseback, mountain bike or motorcycle. A short drive away, several ghost towns and natural hot springs invite exploring, and a casino is just 10 miles north. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend (or later). Max pull thru: 68 feet. Your hosts: Tim & Mary Fesko.
