We're all about the fun (No seriously)! We pride ourselves on always figuring out how to have a good time, no matter the date, no matter the weather. This year we're bringing back some of our favorite themes from previous years and trying out some exciting new ones. Love to Dance? Come experience "The Roaring Twenties" Copake KOA Style. Have a pair of Cowboy boots that you just can't stop wearing? This year we have three types of Western Weekends! Santa, The Easter Bunny and The Wizard of Oz all be making an appearance. We've got it all planned out - we just need you!
Themed Weekends Every Weekend All Season
We love to have a good time here at the Copake KOA. We invite you to stay with us and join in the fun. Every weekend all season long has its own theme such as Christmas in July or Cowboys and Indians. We offer daily planned activities for all ages in high season and planned activities on the weekends during Spring and Fall.
We love music here at the Copake KOA. We always have some type of music every week - Karaoke, Live Bands, Bonfire Sing-alongs, Talent Shows, and D-Jays. Come join us and see how music brings laughter, a smile to your face and creates lasting family memories.
Corn Hole, Horseshoes, Hula-hoops, Freeze tag, Softball, Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Scavenger and Treasure Hunts, Geocaching, Relay Races and more are in store for you at the Copake KOA.
Kids crafts are free every Saturday and Sunday morning at 10 AM and Weekdays too in July and August.
An 18 Hole Miniature Golf Course for the Whole Family to enjoy. $3 per person or a family of Four for $10.

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble join us for a freaky fright Friday night and stay all weekend long! Participate in trick or treating, costume contests, site decorating contest and even take a walk through our spooky trail.

May 8-10 Care Camps Big Weekend (Happy Mothers Day)
Come donate to our favorite cause as you camp for one night free! (Camp Friday night get Saturday Night Free). Well be having a miniature golf tournament and even a free pancake breakfast for Mom on Sunday! Want to buy a new rig as a Mothers Day Present for Mom? The RV Mart at Diederichs in West Coxsackie will be on hand displaying RVs on our deluxe pull-thrus.Saturday Night Entertainment: DJ Brandon, Line Dancing Instruction from 7PM to 8PM and Music 8PM to 10PM.

Gary and Cathy Reinards friends and business associates often comment on how different they both are, that they are complete opposites, like two bookends each with their own strengths and weaknesses that need each other to hold everything together.
Gary and Cathy met over 25 years ago through their jobs, as Cathy was selling bearings to the Power Transmission distributor Gary was a manager for. Copake KOA is the third business Gary and Cathy have owned together and the second campground. Their professional corporate backgrounds gave them the expertise to successfully operate their own businesses.
Gary and Cathy love camping. In fact that was one of the major reasons they sold their first campground they never got to camp anymore themselves. Lucky for them this campground is seasonal which does give them some time to go camping in their fifth wheel toy hauler during the off season when Gary is not doing a renovation project with the winter staff. Camping at other campgrounds always brings them home full of ideas from other campgrounds to implement at their park.
It took multiple visits to this previously independent campground which could best be described as a diamond in the rough before Gary and Cathy decided this was the one. They purchased this campground in the Fall of 2009. Gary immediately began renovating and upgrading the park with the goal to become part of the KOA family.
Cathy and Gary love being campground owners and are always willing to share their stories, dreams and ideas with anyone who is thinking about owning their own campground. They know they would have never been campground owners without the help and advice of other campground owners. In their minds the best thing about the campground business is that your so called competitors are truly your friends.
