Play all day and rest all night.... start with mountain lions roaring and end with perfectly clear night sky to star gaze....

Enjoy a swim in our outdoor pool, play a game of volleyball, or enjoy one of our other outdoor activities. You can go for a hike on the famous Pacific Crest Trail or take a Safari tour at the Shambala Preserve next door. Back at camp, we have a convenience store, playground, sandbox, basketball court, tetherball, horseshoes, 2 recreation/meeting rooms( subject to availability), 3 bath houses with showers,and laundry facilities.

Our new theme park, Wicky Wacky Town, will be open May 6th.  Featured is the Thrill Ball down Dare Devil Hill.  Riders are strapped inside the 12' ball and rolled down a 50' hill.  Check out the video under the pictures and videos tab.  Our Wiggly Wheel Wace Track includes Pedal Karts on a track that has no straightaway.  The Acton KOA Railroad will toot it's way through the Kampground taking happy campers for fun rides.  Eat My Dust Bicycle rentals has a bike for everyone in the family to cruise around the 60 acre park.  And, the all new Take your Chances Arcade room has fun by the quarters.  Wicky Wacky Town admission is in addition to your overnight rates.

Our KOA is a short drive to California's world-famous theme parks, shopping, dining, theaters, museums, and beaches. Play for the day at Six Flag's Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor, or Disneyland. Visit the L.A. Zoo or take a tour of Universal Studios Hollywood, do a little shopping on Rodeo Drive, or head to the beach for a day of fun in the beautiful California sun.

Meet Your Hosts

Frank Schreiner was first an RV guest, then enjoyed the KOA Work Kamping Experience, and then stepped up to fill the General Manager position.  He truly enjoys the entire kamping atmosphere and makes it his goal to have you enjoy the entire kamping adventure, too.  

Frank is an antique enthusiast - it could be a one-of-a-kind vase, or even a vintage car - and he'll know the history of why that unique piece is priceless.  He also enjoys dirt biking, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Prior to KOA, Frank was a construction contractor, so he is right at home installing all of Acton KOA's new Wicky Wacky Town rides and attractions in addition to our park buildings and grounds.

He will also be the first to admit that he LOVES food!  From German and Thai, to Mexican and American, he enjoys planning, preparing, cooking and mostly eating any and all food.  He's very excited that this year we hope to have pancake breakfasts, BBQs, and ice cream socials.
