Very nice. Only thing I noticed was that the bathrooms closest to site 278 weren't very clean. Not at all as clean and nice as the ones closer to the main entrance. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

The staff was very nice. The amenities are superb. The hot tub wasn't working properly and the bathroom/bathhouse was dirty. I dont believe it was cleaned the whole time we stayed. It smelt terrible. The cabin was perfect. I loved the location of our cabin.

We have been coming to this campground for years since our children were little. They are now in their 40’s. Many things have changed, but the enjoyment of being here remains the same.

Amazing cabin -- very clean and well priced. The downsides: the cabin smelled funny, didn't have heating, and there were lots of spiders in the single showers and toilets. Still, we loved watching HGTV on the small flatscreen and using the jump pillow.

I love the KOA experience. Whenever possible I make it a point to stay in one while traveling. This location is BEAUTIFUL! The place itself is worth visiting. I was a bit let down to see the public showers and bathrooms a bit run down and dirty. Yes, it's a public bathroom but one thing I enjoy about KOAs is that it always feels spotless. The bathroom weren't the cleanest and room was very dusty.

We love coming to Cherokee KOA, but this stay we were very disappointed with the bath houses. They were very dirty. I feel the bath houses should be checked several times a day. I never went to the bath house, and it was clean. This could keep us from coming back. The cost of the sites are not cheap. So, I don't think it's asking much to expect clean bath houses.

It was our first time staying there but it definitely won't be our last. The campground is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Gave us an escort to our site and even helped my husband unload our motorcycle from our trailer. Only issue we encountered was our full hookup, the drainage was full but that's too be expected as it was the end of the season.

I would normally give five stars but we found the bath houses in need of some repair and they were very dirty.

We love Cherokee KOA. The only complaint I have is the bathhouses need a lot more attention. I tried 3 different ones on different days and all 3 were very messy the showers had mold and mildew. The floors and toilets were dirty. We were very disappointed in the bathhouses.

Overall we had a great stay, however we had a few complaints. The gas grill was on the side of the cabin with no light and it was pitch black, so hard to cook. Also, while the outdoor chairs were propped up facing down, presumably to keep leaves off of them, they were filthy and weren't cleaned in a while. The cabin floor also seemed a bit dirty; I was wearing socks and they turned nearly black.

The campground was clean and quiet. We really enjoyed the Halloween decorations and all the activities they had. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. We will be back. This is now our go to place for our mountain trips.

Most unfortunately we won’t be coming back We love this this KOA but just wasn’t a good stay Added an extra night just for one reason and that was to watch a specific game Cable went out beginning of the 3rd We called the office and they were going to send someone Never saw anyone. Scrambled until we could mirror it off a phone,but missed the entire 2nd half More issues but no space

Overall it was a nice campground. The workers were really nice. But there were some issues with some of the bathrooms missing shower doors or stall doors. Laundry room change machine was out of change.

Our stay along the Raven Fork River, in Cabin 246 was wonderful! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The staff was diligent with trash pick up and the entire KOA site was relaxing and beautiful. This was our first trip, we will return. Extra shout out to Melissa and staff for exceptional customer service! Thank you a wonderful experience!

People were still on our site when we arrived. It was ok, we were half an hour early. Bud stayed with us and chatted. He is very personable and friendly Later we needed a cable adapter and a sewer clean out. Bud and Jamie met me at our site. Again, very nice and quick to get the job done. A credit to your camp ground. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Loved the Halloween decorations.

Our time there was pleasant. The staff was busy and hard working. The kids had lots of fun . We have been to KOA Cherokee many times since the 1990’s. I’ll have to admit the fishing was terrible. Not at all like it use to be . I know it wasn’t your fault. I was going to reserve a cabin for next year but decided not to because of this. Unless you e mail me and say the fish are back soon .

Great location and nice facility. It definitely needs a makeover; it is tired and worn. Laundry and bathrooms need to be thoroughly cleaned; they were filthy

Alittle disappointed. We stayed here because of the stocked ponds so we could fish. When we arrived we were notified that the ponds were not stocked and in fact closed. It would have been nice to have been notified ahead of time. Also the fire ring was too close to the site pad to have a fire.

The campground is great however, we had to go to the office twice to get them to send someone to clean the ladies bathroom. When they did the shower was still not cleaned.

The Campground was well maintained and all of the workers/ employees were very helpful. We enjoyed all of the festivities and the way the Campground was decorated for the upcoming holiday.

The Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin was great! It comes with everything you would need for an extended stay, including a full kitchen, utensils, plates, and coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable and the heat worked reasonably well. Service is always good and the folks are very friendly.

We waited 20 minutes to get escorted to our campsite, the only ones in line, laundry rooms were extremely dirty, we were there 7 days and no one cleaned them, the store had very little supplies, very disappointed with this campground!!!

Great campground and location! Only complaint is that the bathrooms were not kept very clean. Also, the one we used had no door on the stall. There are only two stalls which is no big deal but they both should have doors on them. Other than the bathrooms, our stay was great!

First off, we found food (half eaten) in refrigerator, hair in the shower, only two towels for a two night stay, and when complained and asked for more towels and new sheets for the bed they ignored us.

Bathrooms were not cleaned, broken shower door, cabin not cleaned, sticky refrigerator, eggs left in fridge. The last few times we have gone the bathroom were terrible. We really like the Koa but they don’t take pride in there campground

Enjoyed the activities' but had issues w/ quiet time as it was not enforced. We called several times to the urgent after hours and received only voicemail and it was full . We had to deal w/ loud campsite group close to us who sung till 1118pm when 10p was time to be quiet and respect others . The indoor hot tub needs to be redone as it was just warm water the outdoor should have been open

Absolutely love this campground! So much for my grandchildren to do, just amazing! Clean cabins and campsite, we rented both in our week here. Very accommodating staff, they will help you with just about anything!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.
