You can find gems and fossils at our Black Bear Mining Sluice or if your family is in the mood for a full-scale adventure you can schedule a tour of Penn's Cave, America's only all-water cavern and wildlife sanctuary located only 30 minutes away! You can also spend the day at our bike park on-site or on the hiking trails near State College, PA, offering course designs for various skill levels. With so many on-site activities, you will have the best camping experience while making family memories!
For fun family activities like fishing and hiking, try out nearby Bald Eagle State Park right down the road! You can head out for a day on the lake to try your hand at catching fish like bass, blue gill, catfish and more at Sawyer Dam, a 14,000-acre lake. Do not forget to get the full camping experience by checking out the stunning scenery while you hike around the area.
