Come and try out our new Bike Park! Each path has a different level of difficulty, it has various features to ride on, through and over! Be sure to sign the waiver in the Office when you check-in, bring a helmet and a mountain bike! Must be a registered guest to use.
Stocked Fishing Pond on the grounds. Bass, sunny, crappie, blue gill, catfish, and more. Catch and release. No license required.
All kinds available! Rated best trout fishing in the East by Field and Stream Magazine. Lots of great limestone streams home to native trout. Great fly fishing areas. Lake fishing in Bald Eagle State Park's Sawyer Dam, a 14,000 acre lake. Also a great place for boating and water skiing. State Fishing Hatchery provides a self-guided tour of the life cycle of a fish. Our campground is just a short drive from Penns Creek, Pennsylvania's largest and longest limestone stream. This trophy trout fishing spot is filled with wild and stocked trout of all kinds, including brown and rainbow.
If you are ready for a relaxing getaway with your feet up by a pool, our campground is the one for you. Show us your best cannonball in our seasonal heated pool, open 5/27 to 9/5. You can also let the kiddos cool off and run around in our exciting splash pad right next to the pool.
The area is home to many opportunities to casually walk or put your fitness to the test with more challenging hikes. The Bellefonte Waterfront Walkway, Spring Creek Trailhead and Gerhold Wildflower trails are ideal locations for early morning runs or sunset strolls with friends and family, taking in the beauty of the natural landscape. For more traditional hikes ranging in difficulty, check out our local forests, including Rothrock and Bald Eagle State Forests.
When you stay with us, you will have access to many fun and family activities near State College. Regardless of the time of year, our friendly staff works hard to maintain schedules filled with planned activities and events to ensure you will never be bored. Activities are scheduled for Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, as well as Halloween Weekend. The schedule includes arts and crafts activities, where you can take part in making slime, tie-dyeing t-shirts or magnet painting! Our team puts on ice cream socials, free hayrides and community weaving activities to help you enjoy your time and meet some new smiling faces!
