Love staying here, was above 100* this last camping trip so really warm but the pool was refreshing. Lots of fun activities for the kids, absolutely love this place. Would love to see an update to the pool!

My husband and I tent camped in a remote site. We enjoyed the privacy and sweeping views. The bathroom/shower was an invigorating walk down (and back up) the hill. It was good to see the roads maintained really well, and great to see that Kevin is well. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful (specifically, Tracy and Wolf). We love staying here, and will be back soon!

Great. No issues. Staff super friendly. The only thing, I’m not sure the bathrooms/showers were cleaned, same observation from the last time we stayed. Other then that, everything was perfect!

We had the most amazing stay at the Santa Margarita KOA… every part was amazing. We loved all the activities for our children and the staff was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks so much! Can’t wait for our next trip :)

I had a tent site with my 8yo for 2 nights. The Bounce Pillow is a huge favorite for my 8yo. We really enjoy this KOA because it is less than an hour away from home, the people that run it are very accommodating and nice, and it's a very short drive to the lake.

Even though we are local to the area, this is our favorite KOA we go to. Great location, wonderful amenities and amazing staff. Wolf and the team have made some good improvements and really made us feel welcome all weekend. We will absolutely be back again!

My cabin was great! The only thing is it would be better with g regular frig.. Since this cabin sleeps 8 a larger rig would be perect!

The KOA hosts made this trip amazing, we cannot say thank you enough. Santa Margarita KOA is the way to go, lots of fun events for the kids. We had the best time and will definitely be visiting again.

It was amazing as usual. My family and I enjoyed the pool games and the making of the tie dye shirts. The kids want the foam pit back, they said it was fun and really missed that event. Also, the Bingo was a big hit, that wasn't happening...missed very much in the evening.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in a deluxe cozy cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and the KOA sits on very hilly property which made the stay seem more like a traditional campground than a typical KOA or similar facility. Staff was very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy we stayed there.

Wow we had the best campsite…#22…kind of isolated and 20 steps from the bathroom/showers…pool was great - not really heated but it worked for us…staff was. Dry friendly and helpful…we were 1/2 mile away from Lake Margarita which was very peaceful. Loved our stay there

Camp sites always clean, people who work there are always helpful and kind. I only go to this KOA now. Love it. Always recommend it to anyone I talk with.

Got the cabin #31 it was clean had everything but blanks and pillows almost like time share! But it was Totally awsome relaxing and fun thank you the staff was very nice and even delivered my firewood to me � Talk about peace loved it wifi was going in and out kinda got frustrated with it alittle having to drive out to get connected to still keep up with family members but im sure it will be fi

Last stop on our honeymoon, this KOA was our first vacation when dating and love the location. Best service of any KoA we’ve stayed at, by far our favorite people and place. Thank you everyone for making our stay a great memory we will always cherish.

The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with the gals in the store. The location was perfect for the wedding of our granddaughter's which was at nearby Oyster Ridge winery. But, we do wish there was pizza or other food delivery available, as we were there for 5 days. As always, bathrooms and everything were always clean and we feel safe at KOA's.

had to remove half tent sun shelter for our dogs fear of piercings water line county calls for no less 12”deep lines while others were allowed to put up screen room and awning in same site also unable to bring in or collect fire wood for fear of bringing in bugs from other counties all bogus reasons insulting our intelligence at every turn! This used to be my favorite KOA no longer!

The cabins are very nice - love the woodsy feel. Very clean and nice accommodations. This location is very hilly so would not recommend for anyone with disabilities if you are expecting to go for walks. Roads are a little scary at night, but the office very nicely provides you with a map to find your place which is really mandatory since it's a bit confusing getting around.

We camped to make up for Mother's Day weekend. Upon late arrival, we were greeted by Management, and Wolf was his name. Wolf was very informative and helpful upon our late check-in. Our stay was wonderful! Peaceful and relaxing within our own company, which was just what I needed with my family. Everything was clean! From our campsite to the bathhouse. We cant wait to go back!

Staff were friendly and pleasant yet it felt thay had a script to read. Still waiting for the call back after being “gated out side” not having been advised they lock the gates as its not in a good part of town And the dogs. Way too many of then and they all bark, all day!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. But our campground is not gated nor in a bad part of town. We are on a beautiful mountain side setting several miles from any main road.

Our stay was a cousin get away. We enjoyed the deluxe cabin and loved the full covered porch. The road coming up and down the hill was really steep. We had a hard time pulling out of the camp site because there was a few small groves the front tires would get stuck in.

Awesome cabin. Glamping at its best. Very private and peaceful. Great views. Inside was clean and very roomy. Tv would have been nice. All in all, we loved our stay and will definitely be back.

This is an excellent place if you need a fully equipped cabin down to a tent campsite. Being built into a hillside allows more privacy between sites than you would expect from a typical KOA experience. The hosts are very helpful and very accommodating. Can't say enough about what makes this a step above the typical KOA location as it has been for decades.
