Farmer's Market (San Luis Obispo)
The San Luis Obispo farmer's market is a weekly event that takes place every Thursday in down town San Luis Obispo. It is a local favorite as well as a visitor's paradise. California Mid-State Fair
"The Biggest Little Fair Anywhere!" The Fair opened in 1946 and was first known as the San Luis Obispo County Fair. The California Mid-State Fair is held annually in Paso Robles and runs for 12 days at the end of July and the first part of August. The Mid-State Fair is best known for its wide variety of high-quality Concerts and Entertainment. The biggest names in the music industry can usually be found performing on the Chumash Main Grandstand. Lots of FREE Entertainment happens on the Frontier Stage. The Miss California Mid-State Fair Pageant kicks off the fun. Fairgoers will enjoy seeing the Livestock, 4H projects, Horse Show and Rodeo. The Exhibit Halls feature competitions in categories from photography, wine and olive oil to quilts, canning and pies. You can shop till you drop among the many vendors. Let's not forget all the yummy Fair Food...from corn dogs, BBQ and international dishes to funnel cakes, churros and cinnamon rolls. There are Beer Gardens at every turn for your enjoyment. The Carnival is a must for the youngsters and the young-at-heart. Good old-fashioned fun and games for all can be found at the Mid-State Fair...provided the CORONA VIRUS doesn't upstage it in 2020!
