The Amasa Run course offers a 10.5K, 15K, or 25K run for trail runners. It's located northwest of Moab, Utah and features technical slickrock with some of the best scenery Moab has to offer. Runners will be impressed by the spectacular views of the Colorado River corridor, Behind the Rocks, and the majestic snow-capped La Sal Mountain range.
The symposium (MPS) is the premier landscape photography gathering in the Four Corners area. 2018 marks the 15th annual event. Join fellow artists for 3 days of feature presentations by 8 world-class photographers, field workshops, and great camaraderie, all within the beauty of the Moab area. Event and workshop fees apply. The Back of Beyond Paddle Race takes place in the adventure town of Moab, Utah. On race day, head up to the starting line about 29 miles northeast of Moab on Scenic Highway 128 at the historic Dewey Bridge. The Back of Beyond Paddle Race follows the Colorado River through the spectacular red rock canyons of Southeastern Utah and past some of the world's most breathtaking scenery - through Moab's 'Postcard Alley' and into Utah's own 'back of beyond'.

Rodeo has been a Grand County tradition for over 50 years and counting. There are three nightly performances that begin at 6:30 PM each night at the Old Spanish Trail Arena. The Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo Club is working toward engaging youth and building partnerships throughout the community so that the great tradition of rodeo can be carried on to future generations.

Racers will run from Grand Junction, Colorado to the world famous Moab, Utah along the beautiful 148-mile Kokopelli Trail. Distances will range from day to day between 9 and 42 miles. This is a grueling event that will challenge the most seasoned athletes, yet it is designed so that less experienced ultrarunners can trail for and successfully complete the course. The entire length of the trail is stunningly beautiful with jagged canyons and breathtaking vistas.
The Moab Free Concert Series features a free, family-friendly concert each Friday in July at Swanny City Park from 4:30pm - 7:30pm.
