Mem Day weekend. We had a confirmed 30 amp back in site, reserved back in January. MSW KOA tried to put our 12000 pound class B on to a rain softened tent site with no communication as to why our confirmed site type was not available. We finally were given a tiny, unrentable “staff site” with no explanations, no apologies, no mention of cost adjustment. Sorry, bad experience, poor cust ser

No lights at te indoor swimming pool when it’s dark, bathrooms are not cleaned properly, wifi doesn’t work everywhere on the campground. Not what I expect from a KOA. It just looks poor.

The KOA Minneapolis Southwest was the worst KOA compared to my other wonderful experiences with other KOAs. Our welcome was road construction which closed the road. No signs indicated what to do. I called and left VM. No response. Tent site was postage stamp on an incline. WiFi never worked. Horrible bath rooms.

We stayed 3 days; was close to out advent destinations. it was also easy to get to even with construction and surprisingly quiet that close to the highway. It was fairly clean and like most koa's camp sites are to close to each other but for a smaller koa I'd stay there again if in that area

We booked a 2 night stay and requested a serviced site but we were put in probably the worst site possible. It had not services at all and barely any place to park. We did move to another site and looked at all the other sites that were supposed to be occupied. The mens shower house was filthy. This KOA is usually better but is under new management I was told.

Site 54 was well kept. Bathroom facilities were clean. We only stayed one night and our only complaints were a bit of highway noise and a plague of mosquitos. We knew that would probably happen though.

The only reason I picked this particular KOA is because of the bikes that were advertised on the website and the pet themed events and crafts being hosted on that particular weekend. Sadly, the advertised bikes were not available and only 2 of the 5 junk bikes were available and none were available for my 5 year old. They cancelled the events and lied about when they took it off the website.

There was a mix-up in the office resulting in our site being given to someone else even though we paid the extra $10 to lock in the site. The lady in the office was really nice and got us into a different site, which was a bit of a process considering the sites are not very clearly marked on which site is which. The worst part was the mosquitoes, they were awful and bugspray didnt help at all

Our space was extremely unlevel. We were unable to use our refrigerator because of that. Eventually they moved us to another spot

It was very easy to car camp at this site. The electrical hookups are in the perfect place to park. All the staff were very friendly and the bathrooms were always clean.

Had tent site, was far from level ,store closes at 7pm. Had kids destroying a plastic club house at playground, had to go over to tell them to stop.

Pool was clean, good temp. Cabin was ready to go & loved that it was close to the playgrounds and pool. Also easy to navigate from the highway.

There was a squatter in our tent site. Now I was paranoid for our safety all weekend. Put us in an rv site without a grill. Gave me a loose rebar topper for fire ring. Steak didn’t cook as there was no ventilation for coals. Steak was ruined. Had to spend $100 on a propane grill. Children had burned eyes and skin from pool. Bikes were not returned or no seats on the last too.

It was peaceful and well-needed rest. Beautiful site and great people who care about your needs being met. Clean restrooms and nice pool. I would live to go to the store, and left my tent up with my gear and it was safe. Safe and peaceful place.

Due to a busy schedule, we waited until the last minute to book an overnight stay. The weather was great! The people who ran the place were so nice and helpful! They was so much to do for the kids! We had a blast! Next time, we'll come for a longer stay!

You have a nice area place was very clean which is nice to see. Showers you had hot water you didn’t have to turn water on/off while showering.we will definitely go back thank you for your hospitality with a clean place.

Normally I love this KOA, but this year I felt a little bait and switched. We paid for a campsite with electricity and water but got what looked like a brand new site with neither. It was also entirely covered in aphids. I did rate it slightly higher than I otherwise would because it was right next to the pool and bathroom, which was nice.

We had a tent site for our weekend stay while we attended the MN Renaissance Festival. Was a great spot being so close and the included amenities were fantastic. The available option for the firewood purchases to be dropped off at your site is so good. Staff are friendly and sociable.

Great customer service upon arrival. Tent sites were small and crowded; was unsure how to park and where exactly to set up the tent. After we set up, we left and did not return until after 10pm. The people across the road from us were noisy, as were their kids. The light from the pool house was distracting to sleep in. Also the tents were too close; we could hear snoring from the next site.

Campground and pool are nice but Campsite itself was horrible. Super small, cramped right up to other campers, full of rocks n tree roots, in a washout area right next to a muddy mosh. The mosquitos were horrendous n the elm trees had mites. We all left with hundreds of bites n that was doused in bug spray. It was very irritating because there were plenty of nice grassy spacious areas available.

Before even setting out any food at the campsite, there were a ton of flies and made eating almlst impossible. Aside from that, with the understanding that it's out of the parks control, quiet hours weren't enforced and our neighbors were very inconsiderate. They came in at 1am to set up camp and we're extremely loud

We have been camping at the KOA for many summers. Facilities are clean, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, there are great activities for kids and the campground is safe and well maintained.

The employees were very nice and accommodating but the sites were very close to one another, too much traffic/airplane & railroad noise at night.

We had a great time! This campground is super kid friendly with a great park for the kids to play at. During our stay we got to do a hayride, movie night, bike rentals and bingo! Our kids had fun. Of course Minnesota mosquito season is bad but we did ok with lots of bug spray and thermacells. Our sites 115/116 were narrow but perfect for side by side camping. Very dog friendly. Lots of dogs!

This KOA was a Holiday, which meant to me a nicer place, but the bathrooms were run-down and the grassy tent site was muddy. Overall, it was fine, but I've been to nicer locations. The location is near a highway (nice for access), but noisy as was the business next door. This is far away from Minneapolis, so I wouldn't want to drive back and forth.

My son (a 13 year old) have camped here several times. Each time has been lots of fun for us both. We camped here this past weekend when they had Halloween and activities for the kids along with trick or treating. The staff there is great --- I have always found them to be so pleasant and friendly. A wonderful place to stay.

The campsite we had was directly in the area of a street light, so my tent was bright enough to read a book from sundown to sunrise. So bright! We left with another night to camp. Don't think we will be back without knowing exactly where we are, or maybe try a cabin.

Overall a decent campground. A little confusing to set up on your own for tents, but they were nice about that. The noise was probably the biggest downfall for being in a tent. Some sort of manufacturing company near by, and the dogs in the area were relentless.

Stayed in one of their cabins for two nights in September while visiting family in the Twin Cities. It's located quite a ways outside the metro area, in a locale with businesses and a four lane highway not far away. The KOA property is okay, with trees. The proprietress was very accommodating and cordial. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. The restroom and showers facilities, and the laundry room, were also clean and well maintained. It took about a minute to walk to the restroom/shower/laundry facilities from our cabin. Most of the time, the wifi was very slow, but one morning at 6:30 it was pretty fast (perhaps someone had been streaming videos previously?)
