I would not recommend anyone that has a dog to stay in one of your camping cabins. You are not allowed to rent one of their Deluxe cabins with a kitchenette or bathroom which the Camping cabins does not have. We have stayed in beautiful hotels that are pet friendly many people travel with their pets. The bathrooms are very clean in the park but not convenient.

Staff was very nice. All were new, less then a month there. Campground leaves something to be desired. in a bad location behind a landscaping business so a lot of blowing dirt and dust residue. campsites are small and quite frankly no real room to place your vehicle on the site unless you park sideways which infringes on the next site. Outside picnic table was broken.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Clean bathrooms and showers, well kept gravel roads, easy to access camp sites, and a welcoming staff made this trip one of our favorites!

We’ve been staying here every year for several now. There has been a steady decline in the maintenance of the grounds, amenities and buildings. Sad to see when compared with other KOAs we stay in

There was a squatter in our tent site. Now I was paranoid for our safety all weekend. Put us in an rv site without a grill. Gave me a loose rebar topper for fire ring. Steak didn’t cook as there was no ventilation for coals. Steak was ruined. Had to spend $100 on a propane grill. Children had burned eyes and skin from pool. Bikes were not returned or no seats on the last too.

Site 72 is extremely tight the fire ring is approximately 3 feet away from the next sites electrical and their trailer. For the amount that is charged for these sites there should be more space.

Needs cleaned up - could be a very nice site. Buildings are fine. Campground needs cleaned up. Landscaping work and TLC would make a big difference.

In fairness the new manager has only been there for three weeks and doing the best that she can do. The owner(s) need to get their act together. The grounds were in disarray, trash everywhere and many sites are unlevel. None of the washing machines function properly. A real disappointment and the property does not meet KOA standards.

Way overpriced for the condition of this park!! I’d find another campground. The spot was full of broken twigs, rocks scattered all over the ground brick. Needs some well needed grounds keeping! I wouldn’t camp here again. I’ve camped at hundreds of KOA’s and the appearance of this one is at the top of my list of Not staying here ever again!

It's obvious that this location is a popular spot. We used it as a base camp 2 years in a row. The staff were friendly and welcoming. One down side was the inability to cancel a night due to changes in our schedule, requiring a 12.5 hour drive and 4 extra hours of driving from our last activity in Minnesota.

It was peaceful and well-needed rest. Beautiful site and great people who care about your needs being met. Clean restrooms and nice pool. I would live to go to the store, and left my tent up with my gear and it was safe. Safe and peaceful place.

We love coming to the KOA! There is so much for the kids. Lots of space to ride bikes, a large playground/sand area, and indoor swimming! Perfect shade and sun. It's one of our favorite places to camp and it's close to home! The staff are always helpful and friendly too!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of activities on the weekends like movies and crafts. The bikes and pool are some of my kiddos favorite parts!! The tractor/wagon rides on Saturday nights is really fun; such a simple thing but the whole campground loves it!

Evverone was so freindly and Brian was awesome guiding us into our site. He went above and beyond helping my daughter and I (with my bum shoulder in a sling) to help get set up as this was our first time camping without her dad! We will be back next year.... with all the kids! Severs Fall Festival is a short drive and a wonderful place to go!

Due to a busy schedule, we waited until the last minute to book an overnight stay. The weather was great! The people who ran the place were so nice and helpful! They was so much to do for the kids! We had a blast! Next time, we'll come for a longer stay!

This was our first time staying at a KOA. It was excellent for an overnight stop during our travels. Nice layout of cabins, RVs and tenting sites. Impressed with the activities available for kids, etc. Only recommendation would be to update the restrooms and give them a fresh coat of paint. Thanks! We will definitely look for KOA sites to stay at in the future.

Although this is listed as Southwest Minneapolis, Its quite a distance into town. Plan on extra time to get in and out of the city. Has a beautiful indoor pool. Grounds are gravel with brown muddy base, tough to keep the RV clean. The bathrooms were seldom cleaned. And, amazing problem with bugs, yellow jackets, flies of all kinds in the evening and mornings. We're not used to this with KOA.

The grounds continue to appear unkept. Tables and grounds were covered with used cups, wrappers and general debris. The patio outside pool had old dirty chairs and tables. We realize it’s almost closing for the season, but these are items that have been there years. Why washers are still out of order? Good proximity to family in Chaska is why we stay there.

Had a fun fabulous time. Loved the Halloween activities! The lodge and restroom/ laundry area is very nice- love the wood paneling. However, many of the picnic tables are unsafe- reason I didn't give top rating. ( Example sites 25 and 26) They are rickety/ tippy if you are an adult.

We stayed at this KOA with our two adult daughters and our grandsons. We were there for the Halloween activities 10/4 through 10/6/2024. All of the workers that we met were very friendly and helpful. The activities were very fun for our grandsons. They loved the pumpkin painting, candy bingo and site to site trick or treating in their costumes. We all had a lot of fun all weekend.

some of the showers don't work, and the only hand dryer in one of the bathrooms was out of order the whole 8 weeks we were there. no paper towels either. The sign out on the highway, the lights were off on it the whole time we were there. making it difficult to find the road in the dark. The water smells terrible.

Stayed in one of their cabins for two nights in September while visiting family in the Twin Cities. It's located quite a ways outside the metro area, in a locale with businesses and a four lane highway not far away. The KOA property is okay, with trees. The proprietress was very accommodating and cordial. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. The restroom and showers facilities, and the laundry room, were also clean and well maintained. It took about a minute to walk to the restroom/shower/laundry facilities from our cabin. Most of the time, the wifi was very slow, but one morning at 6:30 it was pretty fast (perhaps someone had been streaming videos previously?)
