Love the Halloween weekends and Christmas all the activities for the kids

We end the season here, this year noticed the bathrooms and showers were in need of some work. Not as clean and in working order as previous years. Halloween theme was very good.

I love the theme weekends. I wish they would be advertised more. The kids love the hay rides and trick or treating. Please consider warming the pool more my little one always get to cold in the water. It was 80 degrees the pool should not be that cold. Over all love the new management and we have a fabulous time.

Really enjoyed the environment and was excited about the other activities that were available. Most definitely will be returning in the future.

Site was not a real campsite - on an access road (It was #84) The road was the only level ground. Less then 10' between our trailer and RV in next site. No level ground between us, so we were unable to really use the picnic table. Fire pit was well behind and to the left of the road we had to park on and was less then 5' from a tree and a main access road. Staff was friendly. Bathroom clean

I had terrible neighbors in site 90. load and foul mouth people. I had to tell them Friday night to stop with the language and noise around 10:30pm. I called the office and let them know and also stopped by Saturday morning around 8:15am to let them know. We packed up and left the campground Sat. afternoon around 3pm. so I paid for an empty spot because of the people in site 90.

The campground is very nice with clean showers and plenty of shade. The staff was very nice, as well. The internet speed was so low, it was useless - less than 2mb download speed. It is located just a block off of busy HWY 169 and there is a cement plant and landscaping business located adjacent to the property.

I don’t recall our site number but we had to park our truck behind the trailer after unhooking. This wasn’t too bad because you could use an empty site to turn truck around when leaving. The second night someone was in those sites so we had to back down the road between campers. Not sure why this is used as a site without a viable way out. We didn’t really use amenities which seemed average

We were put in a very rocky and not a nice grassy spot. Did not like the site at all. The rate was extremely higher than we normally pay. Will not come again.

Great stay. Very well maintained grounds and shower house. Friendly staff. Sites were close but not too bad. Close to hiking trails, a certain MN candy store, and the MOA is less then 30 mins away.

We were only there over the weekend and spent most of our Saturday at a festival near by. Clean, friendly staff, didn't have any issues. We will probably continue using the campground each year.

You have a nice area place was very clean which is nice to see. Showers you had hot water you didn’t have to turn water on/off while showering.we will definitely go back thank you for your hospitality with a clean place.

We stayed for a week as my husband had his army reunion in Bloomington MN. The spaces in between rv's were very close, you could hear people in the rv next to you talking inside your rv. We will not stay there again

We were very happy with the campground overall, however trying to leave was problematic. The location for your dump station is terrible! We had full hookups, and it was very difficult to get by someone using the dump station when we were trying to leave. We didn't know they were going there. We thought we were just following them out, but they stopped and we were committed to that route.

The Southwest KOA was Very Nice.The experience from check in to check out was Great!This KOA was very quiet ! Minimal highway noise. We appreciate the Escort to our camp site which was extremely helpfull.The delivery of firewood to our site was Extremely nice ! The office and convenience store were clean and organized along with restrooms,Pricing was not out line.I would recommend this KOA !

The staff was super friendly and helpful. A lot of people arrived at the same time. They were very efficient and fast to get everyone checked in quickly .

We enjoyed the campground and surrounding area! It was quiet with lots of fun things for kiddos too. Would definitely recommend a weekend stay.

Our site was a gravel driveway with not enough room to extend our awning without hitting a tree. Our trailer opened up onto the sewage hose of the neighbors. No privacy! The women's shower was disgusting. There was a mat over the drain & when standing, felt like I was sinking. The shower curtain was yellowed and moldy. My husband tried the pool & the heater had been turned off and was too cold

We had a beautiful site (91) for two months and really enjoyed our stay. The staff works so hard to update the park and all are so personable. We would stay again if our travels take us back to that area.

Very loud people and music until 3 AM. Lots of dogs baring nonstop. I now know that people don't come here to "camp" like most do, they are either living there or passing thru. I will stick to state parks.

The KOA turn off is deceptive; it travels through an rv graveyard on the left and industry on the right. That said, further down the road, one enters into a beautiful KOA with all the amenities. If you’re staying over a Thursday, you must visit “Thirsty Thursday” at the Alta House within the KOA; good live music, scenic venue overlooking a corn field and first class hospitality at the bar!

Normally I love this KOA, but this year I felt a little bait and switched. We paid for a campsite with electricity and water but got what looked like a brand new site with neither. It was also entirely covered in aphids. I did rate it slightly higher than I otherwise would because it was right next to the pool and bathroom, which was nice.

Loved this campground. Was well kept and the staff were friendly. Dog park was nice plus lots of grass to walk around in. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Stayed in one of their cabins for two nights in September while visiting family in the Twin Cities. It's located quite a ways outside the metro area, in a locale with businesses and a four lane highway not far away. The KOA property is okay, with trees. The proprietress was very accommodating and cordial. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. The restroom and showers facilities, and the laundry room, were also clean and well maintained. It took about a minute to walk to the restroom/shower/laundry facilities from our cabin. Most of the time, the wifi was very slow, but one morning at 6:30 it was pretty fast (perhaps someone had been streaming videos previously?)
