Nice campground. Good stay
Aug 10, 2024
We had an enjoyable stay. The accommodations were very good. Just needs some maintenance in the men's restroom: One of the shower drains and the sink counter. There were a lot of aphids on the camper and other camping items. I don't recall seeing them the 1st morning, but they had just sprayed while we were at Valley Fair. It was bit concerning, but better than having some other bug issues.

Conveniently located, site was little tight if you wanted to start a fire. Wifi was good and facilities were clean.

The campground was great. Very well maintained. And the staff were very friendly

Very muddy site and surroundings, I asked to move due to exit and was told it wasn’t possible, when I opened sewer cap, there was was visible sewerage in it and when I dumped I had to do it slowly so it wouldn’t run over and it rained sap from the trees the whole time we were there coating our motorhome and car. We’ve stayed at many KOA’s in the past, and this was the bottom of the barrel

They were very accommodating as we had truck trouble and had to stay an extra day. They were concerned for us and helped reassure us that everything would work out, and it did. Thanks!

It was called a super deluxe and we paid good money for it. the lots were right on top of each other. Not well maintained at all. There was some nasty stuff that comes down out of the trees that just covered our vehicles and we had to wash it off every day and they were sticky. Never stayed at one as bad as this one. Especially for deluxe very insulting. Do not pay the money go somewhere else.

The site had black muck around the driveway, and on the fringe of the grass, got on my dog's paws and tracked in, the sewer hook up and water hook up were located in black muck, the table and patio were covered with debris, we have been retired for several year and have stayed in over 100 campgrounds, I've never taken the time to complain, but we paid $168 for 2 nights and trusted the KOA name.

We have stayed at this KOA several times in the last few years. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The deluxe pull-thru sites are spacious and well maintained. This location is convenient to our family and attractions in the southern Mpls/St. Paul area.

Pull thu, not level. Only stayed one night. Hooked up to electric only. Office personel get 5 stars.

Honestly koa’s are usually pretty nice , this one was really rough, the showers were pretty nasty, the kids felt unsafe as there was a guy just standing watching the kids, the camp spot was pretty dirty and we actually left it cleaner then it was . If we were you we would spend the money also where as it was on the more expensive side with not being close to really anything

We arrived on 7-24-24 until 7-28-24. It was a very nice but smaller campground. Folks were very nice and helpful. We choose a back in site and it had plenty of room. They do have pull through sites with patios which were very nice also. Noting offered during the week. Not much for weekends either. We did lose power 2 days for only a couple hours each day cause of something outside of the campgrou.

Staff very friendly

We were disappointed about losing power 2 of the nights. Office lady told us 1st night was due to an outage airside the campground. But Saturday night’s outage was clearly inside the park because I was woken up several times by staff driving around in golf carts, running a chainsaw and the backup beep from boom truck at 2-4 am. Also disappointed that mini golf cost extra too

Lots of shade available but some of the sites are hard to level if you have a big rig. Need more gravel on some sites. Overall I would stay there again.

Very well maintained park with lots of big shade trees. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is a very old and tired KOA. We travel in a 45 foot Prevost and stayed in a so called “deluxe patio” site. Someone took creative marketing 101 when they named these sites. Sewer was sunken in the ground, power was low and the tree we were under was literally dripping sap all the time. Just standing there you could feel it drip down onto you. We had to wash our car daily.

Roads and sites are very narrow. Hard to navigate with a large 5th wheel.
Jul 25, 2024
Packed. Small spots. Older park. Tons of off leash dogs. Loud construction materials neighbors with 18 wheelers all day/night. Expensive. Had it been even 10 or 15 dollars cheaper it would have made sense. But it was one of the most expensive spots we have stayed in AND no full hookups.

We were very impressed with the customer service.

Nice campground . It’s not their fault the main road leading in is under construction. Tough getting in or out at certain times .

Like most KOA campgrounds, this location needs monster updates.

The Wi-Fi signal was not good enough to pick up anything at all.

Loved the indoor pool and great staff! This will be our site we will always stay at on future trips!

Very accommodating, allows us to change spots and extend our stay because of airline problems.Awesome job and we are coming back again soon.

Campground was good, staff were really good, but the WI-FI was un-useable. Shouldn't be able to call what they had wi-fi. Being from Canada, we depend on wi-fi as we don't have us data plans, it really made it difficult for us

Wonderful people! Campsite was a little tight. Could not connect the dingy in the pull thru. Wonderful trees and quiet.

Very nice playground for our 7 year old twins, and the pool is the best at any KOA we've ever been to!

We reserved one of their deluxe spots. We did this because when we camp, we don't mind paying more for no issues. The power was not 50amp and tripped the breaker several times. Twice, we needed to find staff to reset the main breaker for several spots. They had too many sites on a breaker. Also the concrete pads were a great idea, but were too small. The area for the table blocked our slide.

Stayed in one of their cabins for two nights in September while visiting family in the Twin Cities. It's located quite a ways outside the metro area, in a locale with businesses and a four lane highway not far away. The KOA property is okay, with trees. The proprietress was very accommodating and cordial. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. The restroom and showers facilities, and the laundry room, were also clean and well maintained. It took about a minute to walk to the restroom/shower/laundry facilities from our cabin. Most of the time, the wifi was very slow, but one morning at 6:30 it was pretty fast (perhaps someone had been streaming videos previously?)
