We have been going here every Mother’s Day for decades and it’s always been great! Current ownership really keeps the place up well and are super friendly and helpful.

Honestly, it seems like the quality of the camp has slipped. Staff was awesome however.

Campsites are very close together, thankfully neighbors were quiet and respectful. Sites and facilities were clean and maintained. One frustration I have is when I booked they were advertising buy 1 night get second free for mothers day weekend, however there is new ownership and this was not honored when I checked it. Morally the right thing to do would to honor how the reservation was booked.

We stayed at this campground last year over Mother's day weekend also. This year we were very pleased with the improvements. There is new management and they have made some very much needed improvements. The gravel roads have new gravel and are much easier to drive on and even walk on. The hay wagon ride on Saturday night was very fun. The indoor pool is always a high point for the kids.

Small sites in an industrial area by a busy highway. This should be a Journey, not a holiday. Jim was awesome to deal with we left 4 days early. Too many big truck, beeping from landscape loader and other annoying noises. Junk yard. Location not appealing and description very misleading. Convenient to nowhere.

Very expensive and rude staff. ESP JillAnn. Two of my neighbors there went back to their sites in tears after dealing with her.

It's spring and the ground was still wet. The roads and picnic table pads could use some additional gravel to keep the amount of mud to a minimum.

The stay was OK with the older owners… Know what the new prices no one can afford that I’m Social Security so I found a better campground for 2023

For the most part it was good. Need to clarify trick or treating to a specific time we were at a bday party and had to leave early cause kids started going around before 3PM.

Everything was well-maintained. The satellite bathroom near the kabins could use a little attention, but otherwise everything was in excellent condition. Good location; only about 30 minutes away from the city.

This is our 4th year staying at the Southwest KOA's Halloween weekend. We enjoy it & the facilities are nice. This 2022 weekend was a bit different with what I heard to be new ownership of the KOA. Not as many activities for the kids & just overall less excitement. The KOA staff is friendly & helpful so overall would recommend staying here as we're booked again for next year.

The early Halloween weekend party was fun for our grandsons, and for us too. All of the staff were friendly and went above and beyond, especially because of the understaffing issues they were having. We have stayed there many times in the past and plan to again in the future.

If you want a quick camping getaway with kids, this is the perfect place! I love that it's close to home. The amenities are nice. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are hot. Lots to do with the kids. Love the halloween theme, kids dressing up in costumes, hayrides and halloween decorations. Outside of the frigid weather on Friday night, I have no complaints. Thanks.

We have stayed here for the last 6 years in August and September and love it. It is quiet and well maintained (although a bit old fashioned). The staff are friendly, helpful and very responsive. As usual we are coming back next year.

Our site was roomy and nice, with a flat, grassy area for our tent and a picnic table. The employees we met were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were all clean and nice. The restrooms were clean with many stalls; the showers were roomy and had good pressure and hot water. Even though it looked like the camp was just about completely booked up, we had plenty of space and privacy.

We had a nice camping spot that was comfortable, roomy, and had some shade. The showering facilities were some of the most unclean that I've seen. There were dozens of dead bugs in the light fixtures, a dirty old torn Rag on the bathroom floor, water stained and missing ceiling tiles, and dried hair stuck to the walls of the shower stall. Cute cramp ground terrible showering facilities.

Quiet time was supposed to be 10pm to 8am, We had very noisy neighbors until almost 1 am. No one in our camper got a good night's sleep Friday night. Saturday night was better. My granddaughter liked the play area. Bathrooms were very clean, and the pool was nice.

Great location. We brought a travel trailer and rented a really cute, deluxe cabin for family members. Friendly, efficient service!! Only downside was sites are very close together…the closest we have seen in a few years.

My only complaint is the dumps at the pad are too far back. I had to back the trailer halfway into the street to dump.

Stayed for renaissance festival nearby. Staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to help us print some paperwork we needed to bring our dogs to the event. When the printer failed to print, they called someone at the event to assure us what we had on our phone was acceptable. Has a great time and great stay!!

Stayed in one of their cabins for two nights in September while visiting family in the Twin Cities. It's located quite a ways outside the metro area, in a locale with businesses and a four lane highway not far away. The KOA property is okay, with trees. The proprietress was very accommodating and cordial. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. The restroom and showers facilities, and the laundry room, were also clean and well maintained. It took about a minute to walk to the restroom/shower/laundry facilities from our cabin. Most of the time, the wifi was very slow, but one morning at 6:30 it was pretty fast (perhaps someone had been streaming videos previously?)
