Love this KOA, it is very clean, fun & the staff is super nice. We do wish they would put gravel or something at the entrance of the dog park so it's not always muddy.

It was good. I sent a review for Livingstone and had the two mixed up.. It was Lava Hot Springs that didn't have nature type trails. But everything else was nice.

Very nice, well kept campground. Highway is super noisy at the upper end by site 208.

It was gorgeous and beautifully kept up. We appreciate the calls in the evening warning of a freeze. You folks do a great job.

Personnel at check-in were on top of what they were doing creating a welcoming environment. The KOA clean and orderly, people friendly. Great stay see you all again. Thanks for the awesome Hospitality.

The camping sites are great! A little close together, but otherwise okay. The problem you have is the fire pits that are buried in the ground. They are a hazard and a liability! When it’s nighttime and dark, you cannot see them. We almost tripped and fell in one. This is an accident waiting to happen! The kettle type are much nicer and much safer!! You have a liability issue!

Great sites. Appreciated the extra room for our truck. The only negatives (and they’re unfixable) is proximity to highway and train traffic. Made it less enjoyable to spend time outside.

Beautiful landscaping, great site. Easy walk to the Hot Springs Tubs. A lovely oasis in an unexpected spot. Visitors should be aware of road and train noise - however, we could also hear the flowing river!

What a beautiful campground! It’s located in a narrow Canyon so you are very close to the highway and the railroad tracks. If you don’t mind the noise, which we were fine with, you will enjoy your stay tremendously.

Your dog run was one of the best of the KOA campgrounds we stayed. Your showers could use slip guards and more places to hang or put ones clothes.

Great place, great hosts, everything was enjoyable. Only drawbacks were the trains and rail line work going on (noise) across the highway, and a bit of highway noise. But those are nothing anyone could do about, and common in the west if you're in a canyon. When work calms down, there'd be NO negatives! I would definitely stay here again, and in fact are planning it already for the spring !!

We had a one night stay. Very clean park, clean bathrooms. Very short walk to the Lava Hot Springs. Down side is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise at night, but we would definitely stay again!

We stay with you several times each year and thoroughly enjoy it. However, this time we purchased Premium WiFi and found it not viable for more than one device, which was a bit disappointing.

We stayed just one Saturday night in site, #76. it wasn’t level and without unhooking our truck we couldn’t do more than level side to side, but it was okay enough. We slept well and glad that nearby road and train noise disappeared over night! I used the shower and must say it was the best in 3 months on the road! New, spotless, great water pressure; just heavenly!

Very clean well looked after campsite. Great location for access to Lava Hot Springs town. Only downside was noise from the trains and trucks 24/7. Both train track and road run in front of the camp site.

It started with nickel and diming me for NOT wanting to be next to the main building and adding a pet fee (that was not previously disclosed). Then, charging DOUBLE for a supposedly less noisy location that was over the top noisy with the TRAIN TRACKS and the LOUD HIGHWAY. The TINY Pet enclosure was stinky even to me and had huge holes from previous animals digging. Absolutely the WORST stay!

The park is well maintained. You can see all the hard work that goes into the lovely plantings and well maintained grass areas. Appreciated the clean bathrooms/showers, plenty of hot water.

There is a surprise $6 pet fee at check in, the first time I have ever paid such a charge at KOA. There is no nighttime lighting in the area i stayed. Facilities were very nice.

I paid for the premium wifi but they had free and that was not stated on the website. They both were not strong enough to stream anything. No one mentions how noisy it is from the trains and the I tartare right next to the campgrounds. The site itself it very nice and kept very clean. Nice bathroom and laundry facilities.

KOA Hot Lava East was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, everything was spotless, and the staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly. We’ve always had great experiences with KOA, but this one truly stands out as the best yet. We can’t wait to come back!!

the pull thru sites look getto, sparse grass & too narrow with old wheel buried in the ground for a fire ring, also dangerous because they are left open to fall into! Loud trains all night! The hike to the bathroom was way too far. Bathroom looked nice, but lots of water on the floor if someone showered, someone using a hair dryer could be electricuted! TERRIBLE STAY!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA! The campground is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and everything was clean and well maintained. We ended up arriving a day early and had two different campsites during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the transition from one site to the other incredibly smooth. Their customer service was outstanding, and we had zero problems throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Lava Hot Springs KOA to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

Great place to stay. Lots of activities around the area. Perfectly located out of the busiest areas, yet close to everything you need. Staff is great and facilities were very clean! Bathrooms are a good way to judge how well kept a place is and they're nice and clean. There is a train track that runs parallel to highway right next to the location, but nether were too much to handle.
