We stayed at 4 . One thing I can't understand why we pay $3 at 1 of your stores and paid 4.80 at the second 1 for the same drink. That is ridiculous.

This KOA is exceptionally maintained and is very nice. We had to issues with the road noise, that was nothing compared to the infestation of Box Elder bugs that we experienced. Supposedly, our spot and area around it had an infestation problem. We saw some bugs when we set up camp on a Monday and by Wednesday, we were infiltrated with them! We left on Thursday and we are still killing the bugs

Friendly staff and the evenings were quiet. We spent the days at Hot Springs soaking in the mineral waters.

My husband and I spent almost $600 for 3 days. $160 per night plus pet fees, plus extra car fees is entirely outrageous for the space. You should disclose to your guests the noisiness of the location and constant traffic between the trains and the highway. The following night we stayed at a Luvs truck stop off I-80 and it was quieter than with you. This is my first negative review of my life.

In photos this campground looks beautiful and it is. Its location to downtown Lava Springs is great. The problem is the unrelenting noise. We always get a patio site because they are usually a little better but this campground is right next to a very busy road with large semis that goes all night and there are many very loud (many trains). First time we ever left a KOA early.

Love this KOA. Lots to do within walking distance. Not all sites are easy to level in a class A but staff accommodated our need to change sites. Laundry prices are high so be aware if you need to use. We used the lower price public laundry near the cabins across from hot springs!

We had a great family camping trip! Clean campground and facilities, staff was friendly, and there was an endless supply of firewood for smores!

The box elder bugs were terrible on the upper camping sites. They really need to be sprayed earlier in the year. We love staying there, but hate the bugs. Also th sharp corners of the cement curbing should probably be shaved and morerounded. We hit one pretty hard and ruined a mud flap. I also witnessed another trailer who hit one of the corners pretty hard. Sites 204, 205, 97 is the problem.

Clean. Nice spots. Grass well kept. Full hookups very useful. Having additional bathrooms and showers is always nice. Plenty of parking in our spot.

The gentleman on the golf cart was extremely rude to us while we were trying to check in. We were put out in the annex. It was extremely loud between the highway and the railroad tracks. Ended up leaving a day early. Probably won’t come back.

The grounds and facilities are clean, well maintained and beautiful. 1 of the nicest koa we have stayed at. The issue would be the box elder bugs and infested trees on our site. Maintenence did come within an hour to spray but clearly Management knows this is not successful. Also the Riverview sites are covered in brush and there is no view.

The facilities are nice enough and staff were super nice, particularly Stetson. However, the location is not good. It’s right on the highway and the trucks use their air brakes coming down the mountain, as well as the freight trains rumbling by.

Clean place. Good folks behind the counter. A guest parked in my spot the day before so I ended up in a different spot than I wanted. That was a bit frustrating. The path to the hot springs was nice to not walk on the road. If you go, stop by and get some sourdough bread at Eruption brewery. Good food!

Beautiful KOA! We had a backin site along the river. Wished we could see the river but the site was great! The K9Kamp was well maintained with lush green grass. I would have given a higher rating if I hadn't been charged $6 for my dog. This is the first time in 30 years of being a KOA member that I've had to pay extra for a pet.

Very clean campground. Staff were friendly and helpful. The adjoining hot springs and restaurants are enjoyable. We camped in our pop up trailer so the train and vehicle traffic were noisy throughout the night but that is expected due to the local attractions.

KOA always has clean, safe campgrounds and amenities. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time (day and night). I did sign up with Sensible Weather for a refund for rainy weather but they are arguing it didn't rain enough. I disagree and am in talks with them. BUT I would NOT recommend paying the extra coverage of Sensible Weather.

Clean bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. At check in, would have preferred being given a choice of spots in the category we booked. The park was very empty and we were assigned a spot in full sun, while there were more desirable ones with shade in our category. We had already set up, so didn't ask to move. Next time, we will ask at check in.

Love the location of this KOA. Walking distance to anything we wanted, hot springs, water park, grocery store and more. Staff was super nice and campsite was great.

The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Our site had a cement pad which was nice. My only complaint is the very active railroad tracks across the highway. Trains run throughout the night. Personally, I did not get much sleep.

Box elder bugs were awful we could not use our patio. When asked to move locations we were told campground was completely full. At no during our stay we they full. There were alot of empty sites.

We stayed in the expansion lot, which was actually very nice, new bath house, nice grassy areas with flowers for each site. Nested between the train track and the interstate, it was very loud. Fortunately, we were exhausted from our trip and crashed immediately after eating, and took off first thing next morning. Had we been there to relax and enjoy the area, it might have been more difficult.

Enjoyed our time in Lava Hot Springs but was hoping to stay in wooded area. Little disappointed that we had to park across the road; however, turned out better than expected as sites are larger and there is still access to the river. Very nice!

The camp is clean and we'll organized. Staff is super friendly. Doggie friendly. We enjoyed our stay.Our only complaint is the box elder bugs. At our sites, they were thick! We couldn't sit down at the picnic table because they were covering it. Had to brush them off all our connection equipment.

The only problem was the in ground fire pits. In the dark it was like falling into a hole. Which I nearly did we covered it so I with our picnic table do no one would fall in especially in the dark. I think this is a gives safety hazard. Some one could really get hurt. I noticed some were several inches out of the ground but ours was an inch in the ground. I hope you fix those. Huge lawsuit.

Campground was nice and are is good. Sites are infested with box elder bugs and ownership won’t treat the problem. Still picking them out of the camper 3 days after leaving.

Staff is extremely friendly and even we’re kind to my nieces when they came in for hot chocolate. Very informative for my future reservation. Always felt welcome.

We visited this KOA in early fall after the summer rush, so the camp ground was pretty quiet and not full of campers. Check I was a breeze and the employees were friendly and helpful. There really aren't any bad sites here. Some are right on the river. The camp sites are all clean and level and the park was easy to maneuver in. The only con to staying here is the highway and railroad noise. Personally it didn't bother me at all, but if you're someone who needs quiet to sleep you're probably not going to get the best sleep here. Overall, this is a great KOA and I would highly recommend staying here.
