We camp several time in East KOA.That is our best camping destination and Stay ever.Very clean, lot of improvements,all staff very nice,friendly and polite.BIG Kudo for all of them.We will be definitely back.

Staff was very nice and helpful, however the campground was over crowded and somewhat raucous!! Perhaps it was because we were there on a holiday weekend (July 4th) and we were just passing through for the night, however I was a bit disappointed in how out of control it was. We were happy to leave early the next morning.

I reserved campground #213. When we arrived, the staff took it upon themselves to move me to #212 (without notifying me prior to doing so) all because the lady in #212 threw a big fit that she wanted #213. The customer service in that part was very unacceptable. Therefore I would not recommend this campground to anyone in fear that they will do the same thing to them.

Wasn't very happy being on the highway and the railroad track. We stayed by the dog poo kennel and there were gobs of dog hair all over the grass. Someone brushed there dog there and didn't clean it up. It was gross. Other than that the camp spots were very clean and looked nice.

Super nice people. Our site was great except that the sewer and electricity hookups were too far apart for us to use both at the same time. They tried to get an extension for our power, b ut nothing worked as it was 50 amp power Z(if it had been 30 they had an extension). They were very helpful but our trailer just didn't fit in this site to hook everything up at once. Nice clean bathrooms.

Loved the place! The park was nice and clean. Beautiful property and the sounds of the river was amazing! Showers were clean.

Normally I would rate you guys very high but not this time. For the past 8+ years upon checking in we book out the following year with you guys. Well when I went to reserve my spot for the following year the gal mentioned that our spot was already reserved AND the rest of the camp ground was reserved. So now after 8 years we won’t be coming back to you guys. Very frustrating.

The campground was nice lots of shade, but the camp sites are extremely small for how much u pay their were people parked in our spot that were not with us because they didn’t have enough room in their spot kids that were not with us were riding their bikes through our camp site and walking through our camp. There were just way to many people for how many camp sites they had it was a cluster.

Best I've ever seen this park look and we've been coming here for decades. The upgrades this year were very nice, lots of work for you, but certainly added to the park. Bathrooms looked very nice! Only complaint is location of sewer hookups - our son would usually pull his RV in the opposite direction so our doors face, creating a compound especially nice when we have small children. See u in 2025

The campground very nice, however I have booked the patio sites throughout the country very disappointed these patio sites do not include an umbrella at the dining table. Couldn’t use patio because of the sun. Wasted money for the site. Will remember for next year as we travel through the lower part of country

The staff did a fine job and they were accommodating, my disappointment lies in the overall location with the highway and train tracks that are extremely close and loud. The grounds are clean and they are making nice improvements on site. If you want a quiet nite, go try the west camp site.

On Monday 7-2 there was no water when we woke up. There was nothing from the park to us about no water and it turns out they turned it off for “pump maintenance “. Only notice was a sign on the shower house door that be off til 10. Unbelievable.

We called everyone that morning and even knocked on doors of the people that did not answer. We're sorry we missed not contacting you.

Nice campground nice facilities and nice staff but I would never stay there again as it is right next to the highway and train tracks so if it's not a train whistle all night long it a Jake brake or a muffler just awful

We had family in town so we camped at KOA. All the kids had fun at KOA. Friendly helpful staff. Clean bathrooms. Tidy campground.

Everything was good except for a few guests that drove loud utvs around the property. I feel those should be banned from the camp. Might as well allow 4 wheelers and motorcycles. More showers needed for the amount of people also.

Enjoyed the park but the laundry is not centrally located so if you are not staying on that end of the park it is a long uphill walk to get to it.

We love this location! It’s peaceful and beautiful and our boys love seeing the trains pass through. Such a fun place to visit!

It's a very nice campground. The facilities are well cared for and it's on a great location on the river. My only complaint is that the map is a bit misleading. The east side of the campground has several sites that appear on the map as being right up along the river like the sites on the west end. Unfortunately, there is a fence and a steep grade with no river access.

Excellent staff and our campsite was amazing and HUGE!! (#97). Kids loved the playground and the Saturday morning activity and the campground was close enough to all the amenities in town that they only took a few minutes to get to. Highly recommended!

the campground is being improved and will be wonderful...what is the worst is the 40-50 dogs running around and barking and EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Kids riding bikes all over is a real hazard. The MOST hated were the little motorbikes that were horrible noisy and the kids riding them at 20-30 miles an hour should NOT BE ALLOWED>

We had such a good time. It was close enough to everything in Lava but just far enough away to be a little more remote. We were right by the river (#2) and when sitting on our patio we could greet all the people coming and going. We loved it so much that we have already booked for next year with our children and grandchildren.

It is very apparent that the owners are investing a great deal of money into the park. It is clean and aesthetically pleasing. However, the new area appears to be designed by someone not familiar with large class A motorhomes or trailers. The sites require a 90 degree turn to access, yet many area do not have sufficient space to this. There are many tall, squared-off curbs & metal posts.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA! The campground is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and everything was clean and well maintained. We ended up arriving a day early and had two different campsites during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the transition from one site to the other incredibly smooth. Their customer service was outstanding, and we had zero problems throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Lava Hot Springs KOA to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

Great place to stay. Lots of activities around the area. Perfectly located out of the busiest areas, yet close to everything you need. Staff is great and facilities were very clean! Bathrooms are a good way to judge how well kept a place is and they're nice and clean. There is a train track that runs parallel to highway right next to the location, but nether were too much to handle.
