Beautiful location within walking distance of the town of Lava Hot Springs. Fall is a great time to stay here-lots less people. Everyone at the check in station was so nice!

Just a one night stay but we had a beautiful site just above the water. There is a train that went by a few times but didn't bother us. The campground is in a very pretty setting and well taken care of

We stayed here the last night of a long road trip and it was spectacular. Loved being by the river. Loved the short walk to the Hot Springs. It was heavenly after our long drive. Our dogs loved it too! We will definitely be back! Would love to see this in the fall. And this KOA is well kept and the nicest we have seen. Highly recommend.

Would be best to have laundry available for the RVs in the lower campground. The laundry in the upper campground is very difficult to access. I saw no parking and the slope would be a challenge on the one side.

The campground is beautiful and our site was wonderful. The customer service here was also excellent and we are so grateful and happy for our stay at this campground.

Campsite was clean. The 110v power outlet did not work and my 220v cord was too short to reach the power stand. The office sent a maintenance man and he supplied me with a 220v extension cord so I was good to go.

Andi and her staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and beautiful. They have made quite a lot of improvements over the years. Live the restroom/laundry facility. They take pride in their campground and go out of their way to make your stay exceptional! We can't wait to go back.

Park is great, sites are well maintained. Big issue is the road and train traffic, way to much noise. To bad such a nice park is ruined by the noise.

Train lovers will enjoy this camp! At check-in, free earplugs are offered. Park is clean and beautifully landscaped. There lots of comfy sites to choose from so avoid Site # 70 unless you enjoy being the corner property with road on 2 sides and no shade. Electrical boxes form a sort of fence. Staff are friendly and accommodating when possible.

Very clean and a great store! Lots of space and overall a great campground in Lava! We prefer it to the KOA west, which is right in town, but this one has a much more relaxed feel… and it’s a 10 minute walk to town along the river! Loved it!

Mike at the front desk was very helpful. We were put in a spot that didn’t accommodate what we needed so Mike was helpful to move us at a different spot when it opened We had a great time! But next year we will look into KOA east to be closer to town

Michael the front desk clerk was very accommodating and helpful tou concerns and needs. It was an overbooked packed weekend but he did what he could to assist our needs. Location is very clean. We will book our next trip either the west side or with the river behind us

We had an awesome campsite. It had a beautiful tree with lots of shade. I also enjoyed the pool. We'll stay hear again when we're in the area!

Nice clean campground. Friendly staff. Close to downtown area. Pricey though on weekends compared to other KOAs. My biggest issue was having to pay for my dogs. We have stayed at probably over 25 KOAs so far and have never paid a daily pet fee. That alone would keep me from staying there again. Also our neighbors had 2 dogs that ran loose all the time despite the individual K9 pen on their site.

Beautiful camp site along the river. Nice and clean facilities, including group area and playground. Pricey but a great location. Noise from trains day and night (everywhere in this little town).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA! The campground is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and everything was clean and well maintained. We ended up arriving a day early and had two different campsites during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the transition from one site to the other incredibly smooth. Their customer service was outstanding, and we had zero problems throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Lava Hot Springs KOA to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

Great place to stay. Lots of activities around the area. Perfectly located out of the busiest areas, yet close to everything you need. Staff is great and facilities were very clean! Bathrooms are a good way to judge how well kept a place is and they're nice and clean. There is a train track that runs parallel to highway right next to the location, but nether were too much to handle.
