Loved the cabin. Only couldn’t work the gas fireplace outside - directions about a timer confused me as I wasn’t sure if that was for the grill or fire pit. (“The barbecue”.)

I always love the cabins at this KOA, first time staying in one without linens but was able to just roll my sleeping bag out on the mattress and everything worked out well. Very cute little cabin, highly recommend! Camp personnel were nice and very helpful!

This campground is clean and very well maintained. Staff were PHENOMENAL during our stay. Loved every moment of the vacation. We are already planning more stays at Lava Hot Springs East. Thank you everyone!

Everyone was helpful and pleasant except for the woman who informed us at 9:51 pm there was a noise curfew. We understood the message and were grateful for her reminding us. Her approach was pleasant initially but felt passive-aggressive when she continued with her message. All other experiences were fantastic so, thank you!

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was very nice, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable and sweaty. We had a bit of a problem with the TV, but the staff was quick to help us and get it fixed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Andy’s Lava Hot Springs KOA is the best, because she is the best! Always accommodating and a terrific staff. We return year after year, mostly because of her and her outstanding facility. Top notch on every level!

Very attentive during our family reunion, 93 people. The entire family had a great time and wants to plan another reunion there in the future. The staff was very accommodating and supportive, and we can’t express enough gratitude for their hard work in taking care of us!

We had a great time. Only concerns were - Price of the Cabins. A little pricey especially when you rent 3 of them. Would love to see them be a little cheaper, but I'm sure you have no problems getting them rented for the summer. Location is noisy especially with the trains, but what can you do about that? Nothing. We had great time and will be back. Customer service was to notch. Thank you

Who was really nice, but our shower did not drain very well and our barbecue we were supplied was very wobbly and the whole bottom of it is rusted out. The bed was super comfortable and it was nice having a coffee pot and microwave. And fridge.

This was our first time staying at a KOA campground and this property was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly. The river that runs along the property was very nice and the sound of the water was very pleasant.

Just wanted to say we have enjoyed staying here over the years and love the campground. When we showed up on Thursday June 19th only to have a big dirt pile and a hole in our campground I had to ask if we were going to be able to use the common space and were told yes it will be done today, nothing was done until end of day on June 20th. Was told to be getting a discount brat did not happen

Our cabin (L49) was nice, but the tub did not drain properly. I requested maintenance on our third day, and again on our fourth day. The maintenance man showed up at 7 PM after my second request( over five hours after the request) my family and I were in bed so I declined the service. I was surprised that I was not offered a discount on the nightly rate given this condition. I could go on but why.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin with a queen bed and bunks. It had a full bath and kitchenette. It was very clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with the accommodations and pricing. Will recommend to friends and family and also book for future visits.

Staff and facility was very nice, clean and well taken care of. Not much space between regular cabins, but we had a great river & waterfall view. Cabin was immaculate and shower was great. Large bed was very soft and the bunk beds were very hard, but a great stay overall.

Overpriced. Plus very loud construction that started at 5 am just a few feet from our cabin. We weren't made aware is this beforehand and we would not have stayed here with our infant child is we would've known.

Amazing stay! Beautiful campground with cabins that weren't scary and mattresses that are completely zipped up, so no creepy crawlys. Everything is in walking distance and the amenities are fantastic!

Cabin was new and clean, mentioned it slept 6, more like 4 to 5. 2 people could not sleep on futon. Liked the space between cabins, and little private areas. Family had a great time

It was very good. We really liked that we had a use if to wash my pans and others. We liked that you have fantastic workers. Our person who did the beginning of our stay. He also told us about the road issues. It made us know that we need to be thinking about knowing that we have to be careful. We also were the clear in the bathroom so clean! The only was that we were not told about the train...

We loved this KOA! It is in the most gorgeous setting, with lots of shade trees, and with the running river providing the most amazing white noise in the background. We stayed in a tiny house lodge, along with the triple tent site, and it was the best cabin and tent site we have EVER stayed in; and we've stayed at a lot of KOAs. The staff here go above and beyond, and it shows. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA! The campground is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and everything was clean and well maintained. We ended up arriving a day early and had two different campsites during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the transition from one site to the other incredibly smooth. Their customer service was outstanding, and we had zero problems throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Lava Hot Springs KOA to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

Great place to stay. Lots of activities around the area. Perfectly located out of the busiest areas, yet close to everything you need. Staff is great and facilities were very clean! Bathrooms are a good way to judge how well kept a place is and they're nice and clean. There is a train track that runs parallel to highway right next to the location, but nether were too much to handle.
