The location was conveniently close to the hot pools and the cabin was warm and cozy and very nice with a really good view. We’ll definitely stay there again and recommended..

Cabin was nice. Frustrated that I was charged for having a service dog even though the website states service dogs are not considered “pets.” We were honest at reservation about having a service dog. We stated having a service dog at check in. Sad that this was not honored and we were still charged.

The cabin was great and would be very nice in the summer or fall when it is warm enough to enjoy the back patio.

Despite the cold weather in January the hot springs were great and just down the road from the little cabin we stayed at. The cabin itself was fun and different from a regular hotel or motel. Genuinely we had a blast staying there.

We were in a pickle with an Airbnb and they am in clutch! They were able to get us 2 cabins the day of!

We arrived earlier than check-in time and they were awesome accommodating and letting us early check-in. They did what they could knowing that we had kids and love that it’s pet friendly so no one stays behind. I’ve been coming for over 10 years. Happy to see their expansion

The cabin we rented was very nice, clean, cozy, however the only thing we didn’t like was the TV was mounted so high, you neck was strained back while watching it, while chilling with our favorite spirits.

The people who work the desk are great. Very helpful and responsive. There was a leak in our water faucet. We informed the young man at the desk and it was fixed the next morning. The sites are modern and clean. All in all, a great place to stay.

Loved it so much! Though I did overpack a bit. Perhaps you can update the listing to reflect that there are dishes, soap, toilet paper, etc. And that propane for the grill isn't included. But it was an excellent location and all of the staff were so kind and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

We had another lovely stay. After a rough first night with some noisy issues related to our cabin (not the traffic noise--that didn't bother), the staff went above and beyond to help us get into one that was a good fit for us. Thank you for a great time in Lava!

We loved the thoughtful layouts of each of the sites--the patio furniture, grills, firepits--all great to have handy! The cabin we stayed in was kept very nice and clean and the staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The only thing that didn't measure up was our extended wi-fi purchase; it was slow, but didn't ruin the experience. :) Thanks for a great weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at the KOA cabin despite a cold, wet weekend. Our cozy cabin kept us warm and dry, heat worked great, and the hot shower was a godsend for warming up quick! Staff were very friendly and checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Despite the weather, we ended up having a perfect little getaway weekend—highly recommend!!!

The location and the staff were perfectly lovely. We stayed in a cabin which was clean and secure, and everything worked like it should. More importantly, it was just an 8-10 minute walk along the river to get to the hot springs.

The deluxe cabin was just what we wanted because we have stayed here before. But not having the gas firepit operating was very disappointing and was one of the reasons we returned to this location.

This was my first time staying at this KOA. I was happy they allow one night stays and it’s an easy walk to town. Camp sites and cabin were clean and KOA staff were wonderful.

We love staying at the KOA in Lava Hot Springs. My only complaint is the terrible choice of where to plant trees in the tent sites. If memory serves me correct new trees were added two years ago and instead of planting them on the boundary lines between tent sites like T6-TS5 someone had the terrible idea to plant them right in the middle wasting quality camping space for no reason.

The beds are small and uncomfortable. And I wish there was a grassy area for gathering rather than all rocks. Like that there is reserved parking. Value is low for price we paid.

We had a group of 4 in cabin L47 on a Thursday night. So not a lot of other people around. The cabin is very nice, large bathroom with shower, large patio with a view of the waterfalls, away from town but not too far to have a good walk, 4 convenient places to sleep. Check in was easy and all the people that we encountered were very nice. We hope to go back again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA. There was some construction going on by my camping cabin & they upgraded me to a regular cabin which was nice. The facilities were clean & the campground was quiet and oh the view of the mountain was awesome. The KOA was within walking distance to the Hot Springs & town. Staff was great. I really enjoyed my stay here at the KOA. I will be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA! The campground is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and everything was clean and well maintained. We ended up arriving a day early and had two different campsites during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the transition from one site to the other incredibly smooth. Their customer service was outstanding, and we had zero problems throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Lava Hot Springs KOA to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

Great place to stay. Lots of activities around the area. Perfectly located out of the busiest areas, yet close to everything you need. Staff is great and facilities were very clean! Bathrooms are a good way to judge how well kept a place is and they're nice and clean. There is a train track that runs parallel to highway right next to the location, but nether were too much to handle.
