I enjoyed my stay. I thought the cement in different spots was a trip hazzard. There seemed to be a lot of raised curbs near campsites

Other than the couple fighting in the upper tent parking area and the guests with the 2 barking German Shepherds, our stay was good. The wife and I stay here every time we visit Lava. Michael did a great job escorting and traffic control.

This was my first time staying at this KOA. I was happy they allow one night stays and it’s an easy walk to town. Camp sites and cabin were clean and KOA staff were wonderful.

Great rv park. Clean and very well kept. The only drawback is being right by the train tracks with a constant stream of trains all night.

Nice people at check in. Restroom, showers were clean and pleasant. The whole camp ground was in great shape. Hook ups were convenient. Proximity to hot springs was good.

We love staying at the KOA in Lava Hot Springs. My only complaint is the terrible choice of where to plant trees in the tent sites. If memory serves me correct new trees were added two years ago and instead of planting them on the boundary lines between tent sites like T6-TS5 someone had the terrible idea to plant them right in the middle wasting quality camping space for no reason.

The beds are small and uncomfortable. And I wish there was a grassy area for gathering rather than all rocks. Like that there is reserved parking. Value is low for price we paid.

Assigned space extremely small, fires should be banned, extremely noisy with highway and train route adjacent to the campground. Out of control neighbors (music, kids running through campgrounds. speeding vehicles) Also, extremely overpriced. This is a very poor location for a campground if you want to relax. Hookups were good and campground is clean.

We just pulled in for an overnight stay, as the place we had booked was a bit sketchy. We were lucky Lava Hot Springs had a spot for us, as it was Labor Day Weekend. We didn't use any of the amenities since it was a short stay. It is a great place for families, lots to do with a water park just down the road, with another KOA available.

We had a group of 4 in cabin L47 on a Thursday night. So not a lot of other people around. The cabin is very nice, large bathroom with shower, large patio with a view of the waterfalls, away from town but not too far to have a good walk, 4 convenient places to sleep. Check in was easy and all the people that we encountered were very nice. We hope to go back again soon.

Would’ve been five stars, but charging an extra six dollars for a cat is ridiculous! Especially after paying the most I’ve ever paid for a KOA.

The facilities were in great condition and had lots of upgrades since our last stay. Clean showers and grounds are greatly appreciated. Please consider working with Lava Hot Springs to eliminate skunks in the area. Their smell was quite noticeable & they are rabies carriers. Also, it would be nice if Lava Hot Springs prohibited the use of engine brakes by semi-trucks passing through town.

Great location to the hotel springs and river tubing. We had a great site #223, private grass area, cement area, tables & chairs & fire pit. The best showers we've seen yet at any campground. We had some troubles and had to push our reservation back a day, and they were so cool about it. Loved this place.

I had a wonderful stay at Lava Hot Springs KOA. There was some construction going on by my camping cabin & they upgraded me to a regular cabin which was nice. The facilities were clean & the campground was quiet and oh the view of the mountain was awesome. The KOA was within walking distance to the Hot Springs & town. Staff was great. I really enjoyed my stay here at the KOA. I will be back.

we did not have a reservation and luckily they had a pull through site for us. Check-in was easy, quick, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was nice and quiet. The grounds were very clean and bathrooms were also very clean. I loved how they have really made improvements there, the staff seem to care a lot about the appearance of the KOA grounds. Definitely will be going back.

Very nice and well kept. The only drawback is that our campsite was right next to the highway and train tracks. What amazed me was the amount of traffic and semi trucks that use that road, it was very loud.

The cabin was great and the staff was very friendly. This was our third time visiting your KOA and we loved it! We always enjoy eating at the Thai restaurant and soaking in the Lava Hot Springs pools nearby.

Easily the best KOA we’ve used - and that’s saying a lot since we have stayed in Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wyoming! The staff is the best - so helpful and friendly, the grounds and views are phenomenal, and the bathrooms are clean and super accessible. We will be staying here again!

As a tent camper, I liked the sandy area for tents. What was not great was the 20+ stairs to get to the tent area from the parking area. Also, I didn't see any garbage cans in the east end of the site. Other downsides: Next to US 30 and near the bottom of a hill that a lot of semis use exhaust braking on; An active rail line on the other side of US 30. The shower facilities were very good.

Great stay! We stayed at the East KOA in 2024 for a short weekend as well and enjoyed Lava Hot Springs so much we had to return for a longer stay this year. The upgrades to the campsites and campground were nice. Definitely would recommend staying at the East KOA and enjoy a day of tubing the river!!!!

온천까지 걸어서 5분 정도의 거리에 있어요. 가본 캠핑장 중 가장 멋진 샤워시설을 가지고 있고, 깨끗하게 관리가 잘 되고 있습니다. 오피스와 약간 떨어져있는 자리는 나무가 작아서 그늘이 아쉽긴 해요

Really nice campground and staff. Just know that if you camp in the spring on the west side of the campground the cottonwood trees just dump fluff all over and tons of pollen. All of our stuff and inside of our trailer was covered in it. Also note that you will be right by the trains that go all night and blow their horns. Also the highway is really loud right there. Even inside our trailer we woke up multiple times from the noise. Nothing against the campground, just be prepared for sleep disruption.
