This is one of the few places we've ever been charged a fee for having our dogs with us. They have curbs all over the place that make parking a big rig like ours a HUGE problem. For those reasons we would not recommend this otherwise beautiful campground.

Cons: campsites are near highway and railway Pros: other than noise from highway and passing trains, our stay was very pleasant experience.

Super nice staff, great spaces with lots of room between spots. Very close to the hot springs.

The place was nice and clean, very quiet. Not much to do around there, due to being off season.

Very nice, roomy and clean cabin - right between the actual campground and "downtown" area. It was great to be able to walk to campground office and/or to town. Will need to come back - other than on a business trip when driving our tour bus to Fairbanks KOA...

I love staying in this campground when visiting the Lava Hot Springs. Yes the campground is impacted by road noise due sitting right beside highway, but I bring ear plugs to compensate. Traffic is light during the night, so road noise isn’t unbearable. Hot springs will make the stay quite memorable.

Stayed for 1 week and loved every second of it. Very friendly staff. There was some construction but its all for park improvements! Paving the roads and doing lots of updates. Beautiful shower house, big roomy spots and VERY close to downtown to go to the Hot pools! Will plan another trip here for sure!

Cabin prices are really high. We live coming up and have stayed many times, but the price that cabins have gone up makes that more and more difficult. Otherwise the KOA is lovely, clean and on a beautiful spot on the river. The train noise is the only negative. Woke me up constantly, but kids slept through it all!

The campsite was good; I've camped there several times. But there were difficulties as follows: No code for toilet, called manager at 9:45 p.m. and was then told that we had to walk to the upper toilets/showers and was given the code. It is almost a block away. No hot water in sinks or showers. In the morning, no water in spigot for the camper. Lack of information when checking in.

It was our "maiden voyage" with our newly purchased trailer so we were happy to have a full campground that had easy spaces to pull into and set up on. Little disappointing that the bathrooms nearest us were closed but it was out of season, and you could tell they were working hard despite the bad weather to get the place spruced up and ready for the busy season just around the corner.

We only stay here when we visit Lava, and we have been coming for years! We love all the cabins we have stayed in, as well as the campground. Such a charming place!

Very nice and friendly staff. Very pretty setting and well appointed site with concrete patio, table, chairs and fire bowl. Nice office and gift shop. Compared to other KOA's we have stayed, we felt the price was a little high. Paying I think for the Hot Springs being in the vicinity.

You need better signage to enter the western portion before going to the office. It would be nice to have a trash can in that area.

We enjoyed the layout and the size of the cabin. We also loved the fire feature outside and the closeness of the river. It was perfect for our needs

Although the water wasn’t on due to the temperatures it was a good stay & we extended a second night. It is a well kept campground with beautiful scenery. There is noise from the road & train going by the the river makes it worth listening to it. Friendly & helpful staff at check in. We’ll be back!

We stay in lava Hot springs one to two times per year. We either rent a hotel or stay in Pocatello. Staying at this KOA deluxe cabin was the best time we have ever stayed in lava Hot springs! Excellent service excellent cabin. Clean and tidy.

We’ve stayed here several times and love it! However, last weekend we booked one night in one of the small cabins. My wife and I happened to be in separate vehicles, and even though we were literally the only ones in the whole campground, they made us purchase a 2nd vehicle pass. We’ll keep going back because we love it, but it seemed like a bit of a money grab.

Nice facility, but way too noisy with the highway on one side and the train on the other, We appreciated getting off the road to rest, but will never stay there again.

We loved staying here! We came for the weekend to celebrate Veterans Day weekend and my husbands birthday. It was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. The view was perfect, and the setup was great. The staff was very friendly too. I would highly recommend!

Great stay, one night. We were able to get spaces by the restroom/shower building which was nice given the cold temps (25 degrees). Staff was helpful.

온천까지 걸어서 5분 정도의 거리에 있어요. 가본 캠핑장 중 가장 멋진 샤워시설을 가지고 있고, 깨끗하게 관리가 잘 되고 있습니다. 오피스와 약간 떨어져있는 자리는 나무가 작아서 그늘이 아쉽긴 해요

Really nice campground and staff. Just know that if you camp in the spring on the west side of the campground the cottonwood trees just dump fluff all over and tons of pollen. All of our stuff and inside of our trailer was covered in it. Also note that you will be right by the trains that go all night and blow their horns. Also the highway is really loud right there. Even inside our trailer we woke up multiple times from the noise. Nothing against the campground, just be prepared for sleep disruption.
