When we arrived to check in I discovered we had booked at the west location by error! No problem! They made the necessary changes and got us in! The sites here are very roomy and well maintained! The shower house and laundry are very nice too! No complaints from us!

Parking was easy and the location was super clean and maintained. I love how close this is to the hot springs and my girls loved the playground. I love that they added a tether ball this year.

We had a great stay! The spaces were fairly level and easy to get in and out of, which is always a plus. They were also spaced out pretty well too. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful during our stay as well. We will definitely be back!

Friendly service, cabin was clean and comfortable. I wish we had known about the walking path into town earlier. The KOA has a lot of great options to meet the criteria for your stay & I really appreciate that. I’m sure that we will visit again!

Super clean cabin, comfortable bed, and the friendly office staff made our stay! The futon bed wasn't awesome, but we survived! The campground itself is beautiful and is right next to the river. The hot pools are within walking distance to the campground, which was convenient. The train is an obvious Lava Hot Springs quirk, be prepared for it to be LOUD as it is right accross the street.

We had plenty of space for my two sons and I. It was very clean and well maintained, felt new. The staff were very kind and helpful when needed. We would go there again.

Wife and I along with kids grandkids and great grandkids rented 3 cabins overlooking the Portneouf River. Cabins were really clean and well maintained. Back patio had a propane grill, table and chair, movable fire pit. Our cabins had a queen bed and a bunk bed, shower, bathroom sink, toilet, kitchen sink, microwave, tv, coffee maker, microwave, table, chairs, heater and a.c. Very nice cabins.

Good RV sites, exceptionally clean restrooms / showers and friendly staff. Nicely located along small river. Thing they can't fix is somewhat noisy railroad through the town.

We loved the environment and camping by the river. Wonderful weather! Polite and kind workers. Very clean camp - loved having a nice picnic table set and fire pit.

Nicely laid out spacious campground. Level site. Close to the hot springs. Trains coming and going across the road. Trash pickup at 5:15 AM! Charges $3 per pet fee for staying in our RV. I could understand if staying in one of their cabins but not a fair charge. Beautiful fall colors on the trees.

This campground is very clean and organized with curteous staff. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, which was a plus. The location is great as well as you can walk to the hot springs (.3m) and downtown or sit and listen to the river water rushing by the campsite.

The campground is lovely and well maintained, however, the freight trains are so close and so loud that we can't recommend this campground.

We love staying at the KOA East! Easy walk to town for us! The turnaround getting out is tight in the east loop. We have a 35' MPG but just be careful and slow. The neighbor left their dog alone - barking - till late. Ugh... The train that goes by multiple times a night and rocks the trailers like an earthquake is something we always forget about but we always come back. LOL! Staff is super kind!

Such a beautiful place to stay. The restrooms are the cleanest ever and the grounds are well kept. Nice area and friendly staff and if you forgot something or need something, the store is full of great things. The laundry is clean and easy to use also. There is a nice trail to go into town. We really enjoyed this place. Look forward to coming back.

The park is very well kept. The restrooms and showers are very clean. They only have three washers and four dryers but at least they have them available. The front office staff during our stay were all extremely pleasant and always happy to see you. We will most likely be back next year with more friends and family.

The campground is clean and well maintained. The town of Lava Hot Springs is so cute. Wish we could have stayed another day. Would return for sure!

We visited this KOA in early fall after the summer rush, so the camp ground was pretty quiet and not full of campers. Check I was a breeze and the employees were friendly and helpful. There really aren't any bad sites here. Some are right on the river. The camp sites are all clean and level and the park was easy to maneuver in. The only con to staying here is the highway and railroad noise. Personally it didn't bother me at all, but if you're someone who needs quiet to sleep you're probably not going to get the best sleep here. Overall, this is a great KOA and I would highly recommend staying here.
