Our family had a great weekend stay at the KOA East in Lava. The four person cabin was clean and provided plenty of space for our small family. Walking into town is a little bit of a trek, but not terrible. There was some road and train noise at night.

This is one of our favorite family vacation spots! The young man that checked us in was very helpful. My group had 4 spots. Unfortunately the young lady that checked my daughter in was not nice at all. First time we’ve had that problem. The spaces are pricey but it’s a clean well kept campsite.

Awesome cabin! Perfect location next river tube rentals and at the start of the river run! Family had a blast!

This was the 3rd time we have arrived and found our site so muddy from over watering besides having to drive and park in the mud and no parking place get in and out without stepping in it. Most gravel site are not level making leveling your rig much harder. Staff mows the lawns while trying to enjoy being outside kicking up dust. Other guests would continue to drive faster than 5/mph kicking dust.

I have stayed here many times, but this is the first time I have stayed in the new area. Pro's: Love the size of the spaces and the patios and grass. Con's: the drain for the sewer line is up on the curb and line kept falling off and didn't drain right. Fire pit placed right next to the RV and too heavy to move. Chairs for table were worn out. Gravel difficult to ride bikes on - too loose.

We stayed in the cabin. It was small, but very comfortable. The only improvement I would see would be when we filled a trash bag to set it out in front very early in the morning and it would be picked up. All trash bins were very full. I also rented the pavilion which would’ve been nice to have an empty trashcan located there. The one there was over running, we were asked to make sure lid closed

It's a great place to stay, the staff does a great job, the town is close to walk to. The only issue we had was people walking through our site to the tent sites, people going to fast and kicking dirt and dust.

Amazing!! The new tiny house cabin was so comfortable and convenient. Your house keeping staff needs a raise because the place was Immaculate! Only negative we have is you need to find a way to slow traffic through the camp site area. A child will be hit and killed if not addressed. Also speeding vehicles made it dusty. Thank you for everything. It was a great stay!!

The cabins were clean and the grounds were nice. However , the cost of the cabin is insanely overpriced. At $300 a night I could stay at an upscale hotel that provides linens, towels, maid service, and breakfast. You need to reconsider your pricing as it’s so far off. I won’t stay again.

The camp ground was beautiful, the staff friendly and the proximity to the Hot Springs and town were great. We have already begun planning our next trip to Lava Hot Springs East KOA

KOA staff were very helpful during check in and check out. We really liked the deluxe cabins, they were clean and functional and you couldn't hear the kids laughing and playing from the outside. We used the firepit and like the table and chairs on the patio. Was nice to have a playground for the kids.

We camp several time in East KOA.That is our best camping destination and Stay ever.Very clean, lot of improvements,all staff very nice,friendly and polite.BIG Kudo for all of them.We will be definitely back.

Staff was very nice and helpful, however the campground was over crowded and somewhat raucous!! Perhaps it was because we were there on a holiday weekend (July 4th) and we were just passing through for the night, however I was a bit disappointed in how out of control it was. We were happy to leave early the next morning.

The campground itself was great! The staff were super friendly and the bathrooms were amazing! I’d never seen the sink, toilet and shower in each stall. However, that train…. I know you can’t control it but complimentary ear buds would be nice. I probably got about 3 hours of off and on sleep.

I reserved campground #213. When we arrived, the staff took it upon themselves to move me to #212 (without notifying me prior to doing so) all because the lady in #212 threw a big fit that she wanted #213. The customer service in that part was very unacceptable. Therefore I would not recommend this campground to anyone in fear that they will do the same thing to them.

Wasn't very happy being on the highway and the railroad track. We stayed by the dog poo kennel and there were gobs of dog hair all over the grass. Someone brushed there dog there and didn't clean it up. It was gross. Other than that the camp spots were very clean and looked nice.

Recently stayed four nights during the Fourth of July festivities. Staff was great, service was easy. If I have one suggestion for improving a guests stay in the cabins along the river: is please install blinds or something for the window above the door, the triangle window. The sun comes through fast and fierce in the early mornings and it hurts. Other than that 5/5. Thank you so much KOA East!

Super nice people. Our site was great except that the sewer and electricity hookups were too far apart for us to use both at the same time. They tried to get an extension for our power, b ut nothing worked as it was 50 amp power Z(if it had been 30 they had an extension). They were very helpful but our trailer just didn't fit in this site to hook everything up at once. Nice clean bathrooms.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Lava Springs KOA. The individuals in the adjacent campsite blocked my camper in and were constantly in my site. Security had to come multiple times to make people move. I have to say security did respond to the issues but it was not a good experience overall. Tent campers shouldn’t be allowed to use paved RV sites.

Normally I would rate you guys very high but not this time. For the past 8+ years upon checking in we book out the following year with you guys. Well when I went to reserve my spot for the following year the gal mentioned that our spot was already reserved AND the rest of the camp ground was reserved. So now after 8 years we won’t be coming back to you guys. Very frustrating.

This place has been expanded and improved since the last time we stayed several years ago. The bathrooms are always clean, plenty of fun activities there and close by.

The campground was nice lots of shade, but the camp sites are extremely small for how much u pay their were people parked in our spot that were not with us because they didn’t have enough room in their spot kids that were not with us were riding their bikes through our camp site and walking through our camp. There were just way to many people for how many camp sites they had it was a cluster.

온천까지 걸어서 5분 정도의 거리에 있어요. 가본 캠핑장 중 가장 멋진 샤워시설을 가지고 있고, 깨끗하게 관리가 잘 되고 있습니다. 오피스와 약간 떨어져있는 자리는 나무가 작아서 그늘이 아쉽긴 해요

Really nice campground and staff. Just know that if you camp in the spring on the west side of the campground the cottonwood trees just dump fluff all over and tons of pollen. All of our stuff and inside of our trailer was covered in it. Also note that you will be right by the trains that go all night and blow their horns. Also the highway is really loud right there. Even inside our trailer we woke up multiple times from the noise. Nothing against the campground, just be prepared for sleep disruption.
