We had a great experience. The campsite was large and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't working as of July 2022. But overall a great experience and we hope to be back again.

Absolutely worst KOA we have stayed at. Upon checking they had bill and deposit messed up. Pool was closed by order of the dept. of health. 5 of 8 machines in the laundry were out of order. Drive into sites was a dead end with NO turn around loop. What an overall nightmare. Never again.

THE CAMPGROUND EXPERIENCE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. WE WERE ESCORTED TO OUR SITE BY A STAFF MEMBER. I BELIEVE HIS NAME IS SEAN. HE TOOK TIME TO GUIDE US TO THE SITE IN THE ESIEST WAY TO MANEUVER A 43 FOOT TRAILER. OFFICE STAFF WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CARING. THE NGHT STAFF MEMBER WAS GREAT (FORGOT HIS NAME) GROUNDS ARE CONSTANTLY MAINTAINED. NIGHT TIME IS SO QUIET WE WONDERED IF ANYONE WAS EVEN THERE

This was our first time ever camping in a travel trailer. We really enjoyed this campground and the fact that our site was 100% forested. Would be nice if they were spaced out a bit more but no complaints. The staff was very kind and helpful, picked up our garbage and delivered firewood. Wish the pools were open. Also think the game room should have more modern games to play like driving sims.

We liked our spot, lots of space, however no pools and no amenities. If we wanted to use the pool we had to drive the car around 2 miles down the road. That KOA was lovely and had a game room, pool and activities to do. The North Pole KOA is not up to the typical KOA standards we have been used to. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The pools being down was disappointing. The town beach was nice except for the fact that the swimming g area was very small and should be swimming at your own risk instead of paying for a lifeguard. The campground was clean and quiet. The mini putt course was very degraded for the cost.

We saw a site with a rather large pet fencing for containing their noisy dogs. Other RV campsites with RV’s and tents for their visitor friends. The shower house by our site had a shower head that didn’t function, just a solid stream of water, I notified the worker but KOA didn’t stock a replacement shower head!! We have been coming here since 2006 and since KOA acquired it has gone down h

Great new facilities, we stayed at the river side location. 4 stars because laundry facility was not working. Only one washer and dryer for all camp that was working.

We had camped at the KOA on Fox Farm for years but that location fell out of favor. We instead camped at the North Pole Campground which is now a KOA. We had mixed feelings about the transition to a KOA but I am pleased to say that the sale made no difference in the quality of our stay. We love the North Pole location and will be back.

Our site was so small we could t open the awning without hitting a tree. Also, we had to drive to another location to use the pool. The kayak access was nice! The area is beautiful but I probably would t return to this campground unless I couldn’t find anything else. There are three separate parts to this KOA. The other areas seemed nicer.

Great location for a home base in the northern Adirondacks. Sites in the forest section are well spaced and shaded. Very nice. We really like the rv park. The two young folks at the check in counter could be a little friendlier.

We had a wonderful time. Each member of the KOA team was friendly and professional. The facility was very well maintained. The facility will be even more enjoyable once the pools are open. One additional thought, this KOA could do a better job of leveraging the access to the he Ausable River.

Beautiful large sites. We see it is a work in progress. Will be fantastic when complete. Sure wish we had known that you didn’t have a pool. Understand that we could use the pool at other KOA, but it’s not the same when you have to go to another campground to swim. Your staff were the friendliest, and most helpful we have encountered in a long time. You should be proud of all of them.

Great stay in a very quiet and pretty campground. Staff were all very friendly and very helpful, with check-in going smoothly. We understand this property was recently purchased so there is obviously forward work to bring it under new management. But the item that needs fixing immediately is the entrance signs. Really need the old sign/entrance to point to the new office/entrance.

The assistant manager, Chloe, was fantastic. She went out of her way to help us with some adjustments to our reservation and then an issue with low voltage at our site. We were promptly moved and enjoyed a good stay at this very quiet campground with some of the largest sites we've seen. We definitely felt welcomed and valued as KOA guests.

Great location, staff was very attentive, very friendly. Needed to fill out on board motorhome and was told to go to the KOA down the street(where the mini golf was) and the people there were so accommodating, friendly and just awesome. One of the people (a blonde-sorry don’t remember names) went out of her way to help us-she made us feel like family and was wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!!

We stayed on the North Pole campground side across the street from the office and left after 3 days to visit Lake George but returned for 3 more days. While the campground needs some infrastructure improvements, it is right on the river and we paddled everyday after visiting Lake Placid. If they continue to clean up the old campground and improve the appearance we will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay but.. do not stay here! Major upgrades and repairs are needed. Also, staff suggested a campsite which was in bad shape. I relied on their judging. Site had roots, rocks, in level and fire ring next to trees and brush. Brush needs to be cleared. Couldn’t switch our site to next to us only occupied 1 night out of 9 there. Staff came and thought check out with 2 nights left ?

We love the accommodations; however, the check in process was beyond unacceptable -- no septic service, long standing and waiting at checkin (over an hour), broke the group up into two locations even though sites remained vacant throughout our stay where we could have b. All in all a bit disjointed and disorganized versus our prior 3 years of stay. The pool closure was also a big disappointment.

Very, Very friendly staff. Park is well organized and run efficiently. Loved the firewood delivery and garbage pickup. The WiFi was great. The dump station is not very convenient for our size rig. I was tipped downhill, so the dump was only partial. The lighting in the W loop is too bright. I understand the need for lighting but it’s like daytime on certain sites. The lights should be shrouded.

There was some confusion from our original booking in February wanting to be on the Lake side, we were told that the new owners were not opening the Resort side. Regardless, we had a lovely wooded and shaded site, quiet area, water was heavy with chemicals,(used bottled water for coffee) we will request the wooded area again if we are in your area.

The dog leash rule was NOT enforced at all. Our neighbor's 3 or 4 dogs were in our site several times harassing our dog, even peeing. We had to put our poor dog inside because of them. They also played their music so loud that we couldn't talk. The site was quite muddy, tracking in all the time. Both swimming pools were empty. But the restrooms were very clean & playground very nice!

New ownership has done a great job. Friendly staff both in the office and on the grounds. I like that there were staff members going around on golf carts, always ready to help out or answer a question.

The sites are large, shaded, and private. There are excellent hiking trails right from the campground. My low rating comes from ameneties. The pool was closed. Half the amenities were a quarter of a mile away and across the street. The playground on the woods side was a joke. Table games all cost money. The public beach was very nice and the best "amenity" also across the street and 1/8 mile away.

Great facility. The entire place including the bathrooms and showers were always clean. The staff was very friendly. Camp sites were spacious. Will definitely be back next year and for sure will recommend to friends.

We enjoyed the stay overall. We were in site 47 and the power was at the front of the site (never experienced this before).A standard 30 amp cord would not reach and thus I had to pull up to hook up. This put us closer to the road than was optimal with much wasted space behind the camper. One other point, the young workers were driving the work vehicles (gators and golf carts) too fast. Thanks

Overall a clean, well kept campground with nice amenities and an absolutely stellar location. Staff are also very helpful, pleasant and attentive. However, they are in the middle of transition after recently purchasing the campground and apparently construction planning so there were some little niggles like vending machines and arcades eating the kids money that are probably byproducts of that.

We have stayed at this property 6 times, this time we were disappointed just driving in. Both pools empty, pulled to check in at the entrance where it was previously and it was a ghost town, nobody to even tell us that registration had moved across the street to the 100 acre woods side, main store/beverage store closed, game rooms closed. We instantly began to look for reservations elsewhere.
