I have been going to this Herkimer KOA for 7 years and it has always ran smoothly and I have never needed the assistance of the staff. But this visit was different and I needed them to change my sites which was done with ease. I had an amazing encounter with the security/maintenance individual Harold who went above and beyond making sure my stay was off to a great start. I had a great stay.

Pirate week is always an our favorite ken and Pam always make it so much fun for the boys everyone is so nice we love it here

I forgot my air mattress and a crew member named Cliff came to the rescue and searched high and low for something that I could use for the night. He ended up finding a twin mattress for me in the attic of the main store. I was saved! He really went above and beyond. He deserves a raise!

I was a little upset that our beautiful amazing river front site had quite a bit of garbage on it when we got there….. we left the site cleaner on checkout. Showers bathrooms super clean, beautiful warm water in showers!! One of the showers was broken, but I reported it (not a complaint stuff happens)

Overall the actual stay was great! Beautiful scenery a lot of activities. I would return for that. The down side is as out of all the staff only 2 were actually friendly Josh and there was another guy don’t know his name but he was very tanned. They were sooooooo friendly. Maybe they can train the rest of the staff on being more welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms would be out of soap and toil pap

Been going here for years started when kids were little. Stopped about 7 years ago when life changed. Started back up this year and everybody loved it. The kids are now 27, and 24. Already booked for next year. Thanks

Was a little disappointed that our site was covered in goose poop. Once that’s as cleaned up everything was fine. I do wish there were more showers, I did find them to be a bit dirty, I actually didn’t shower for my weekend stay. My kids had a great time!

Amazing staff, exceptionally clean restrooms/showers, many options for children to stay entertained, beautiful scenic views and pristine creek, so many different accommodations for RVs, cabins, glamping, tents, etc. Will definitely be back as this was only our first time. My family of four and extended family left very excited to do it all again! Thank you!

The creek-side deluxe tent site was amazing! The rafting was great; we got on at our site and rode to the end…very fun! The only drawback was the amount of people cutting through my site - it was like there was no camp-etiquette whatsoever. Other than that, the activities were great, clean bathrooms and wood/ice delivery was a great perk! I will definitely be back and recommend this site!

I should say first, that we enjoyed our stay. You could improve a few things: 1. "Deluxe Tent Sites" being the furthest from the bathrooms was not ideal, cant just go pee in the woods at night here. 2. Being a "Resort Campground" maybe I should've expected that not all will pick up after themselves. However, you should pick up after them. We were endlessly picking up small trash from our site.

Awesome staff. Josh was great. I thought it was on the expensive side. The showers were dirty and the women room closest to the tent camping wasn’t private at all. The door was always open without a privacy wall and the shower door has a huge gap.

There were so many planned activities and all staff were helpful and friendly. We had a lot of fun. The only downsides are that the campsites are very close to one another and the bathrooms were far for tent campers.

We had a lovely stay. The campground was very clean, very well maintained, and the facilities were cleaned consistently. The staff were more than helpful and courteous. My kids particularly enjoyed the daily activities. Will stay again.

My family and I always have a great time here Chris w always makes my kids laugh and goes out of his way to make our visit great. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. The only bad moment we had was the candy hunt this was our third time here andy kids love the candy hunt they started to throw one piece at a time after they told the kids to start looking.but besides that it was great

Friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff, clean facilities, great amenities and programs. Wish the tent sites weren’t so crowded and were more grassy, but our family of six enjoyed making memories at your campground. Thank you!

We liked our stay. The location, customer service, amenities and activities are all excellent. However, we stayed here about 12-13 years ago and it seems a lot more sites have been added. It feels very cramped and like you are on top if your neighbors.

A great place to stay except our tent site had no real charcoal grill. We had to use a small rack in top of a fire pit.

This was our 2nd time here, and we booked our stay for next year. It's becoming a family tradition. My son-in-law Rob figured out a method to get Herkimer Diamonds. He calls it "drop rock". Short answer we got MANY Herkimer Diamonds this year.

We had a WONDERFUL time!!!! There are a few things that stood out to me. The grounds/facilities and even bathrooms were very clean compared to the other campground bathrooms I have showered in. (There is a bit of mold on the ceiling in the second bathhouse but thats probably difficult to contain outdoors. Plus, like I said, even with the mold it was FAR cleaner than others.) The staff were extreme

My kids and I are obssessed with this campground and can't wait to go back. All of the staff is personable and work hard at keeping the campground clean. There are so many things to do here. It's awesome!

We used to come here yearly with my dad. After he passed it was hard to think about coming back then my mom passed away and I wanted my granddaughter to experience the Diamond mine experience. She is only 1 but this will be a yearly family trip. We would suggest to add baby swings and more deluxe tent sites. All other improvements are great! See you again in August!

This was our second year and we always love it here. Clean grounds and pool. We love all the activities for the kids, especially Bingo to do as a family. The fireworks were awesome! The staff was very professional and friendly! We will be back soon! Thank you!

I enjoyed my stay. The fireworks were awesome. My only downside was the sites seemed like they have gotten smaller and closer together, not enough privacy. But as always the staff and stay were great �.

This is a fantastic RV resort with a beautiful river backdrop, great camping store, wonderful amenities, and a really fun gem mine for us and the kids. Next time I'll make sure to get the back in site to enjoy more of the river.

We stayed at the Herkimer KOA as a couple with no kids over the Memorial Day weekend. This was opening weekend and it was packed- every spot, every cabin was occupied. One would think this would have been a downfall for a single couple looking for quiet glamping fun, but it wasn't. Every minute of our stay was great. We fished, floated the river, mined for diamonds, and relaxed. The campground was spotless, the bathrooms were clean, the amenities were stocked, the staff was friendly and helpful and the campers were respectful. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful hear after year. We love getting a tent spot right next to the West Canadian River. Every year they have been adding new things and updating the campground and mine accross the street. Great place to stay with the family.
