We had a great few days and your facility is wonderful! The husband did really well breaking rock for “diamonds” and even won a round of Bingo. Great DJ music and fun all around.

This is our second time, the place was clean and well managed. the staff were friendly and the extra weekend activities for Father's day were great. Would certainly return.

The staff was professional, friendly and very knowledgable! They helped make this a terrific get away for us! We plan to come back again soon and possibly look into a seasonal site. This isn't our first time here but it was absolutely the BEST!

Grounds are beautiful and probably the best designed KOA we have ever stayed in. That said, we were sandwiched in a spot river side with a huge tree to negotiate (just too close for comfort!!). We were also directly across from an inflatable with a motor running ALL day - unpleasant to sit outside and impossible to enjoy the sounds of the river. Pay the additional $25 to reserve a decent spot!

We stayed in the mountainside area and it was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful. Nice landscaping gave added privacy between sites. Didn’t use the amenities as we were there overnight and it was raining but everything looked well kept.

Was a lovely surprise. Beautifully layed out. Lush. Attention to detail. Run by someone who cares about aesthetics and the guest experience. Loved it here.

Though the campground wasn't crowded, we were placed in a mountainside spot. There are no showers available there, only restroom. Showers were to be accessed from a trail, then stairs and then across the street/highway. Unfortunately, the trail to the stairs necessitated tromping thru 3feet of unmoved brush. The Lapidary showers had no hot water. The bathroom at site 200 had no lights.

Fire ring had prior occupant's multiple paper coffee cups and trash in it and a container of Nellie's organic eggs sitting on the picnic table. Everything else was fine for our overnight stay.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Herkimer KOA Resort. Our site, #87, was perfect! Close enough to the West Canada River that we could enjoy the sound of the rushing water. Our site was level, which is important as it didn't take much time to set-up our RV and enjoy the campground. We plan to return soon!

Only 1 k9camp for this large koa on both sides of the highway. Staff was very friendly.

We love the sites and we especially love having our site along the babbling brook. This KOA is called a resort KOA and it is... including a nice restaurant across the street... very convenient!

Excellence in all aspects; especially the staff. After sitting up our site we walked to the KOA Store and found it had just closed. Staff were walking to their car to go home. They asked if they could help, reopened the store and we purchased some supplies. We thanked them then and we thank them now! �

Even though it rained the whole time we were there we really enjoyed our stay. There's plenty of things to do with the mine right there. We're looking forward to visiting in the future.

Staff was friendly, grass was mowed. I understand reasons for the changes... reservations only made online or by calling, but it is an inconvenience.

The main property seemed to be very nice, unfortunately fortunately we were placed across the road. It felt more like a state park than a KOA. It's a good thing we didn't need the bathhouse or laundry, it would have been quite the walk and serious climb to return. Very rough dirt/gravel road with an extreme hill as access. We will not return. Ain

This was our fourth time staying here. Lovely flat campground, great for biking. Right on the water. Love the buddy sites.

Our site was beautiful, but for the amount we paid( over $80 a night) cable tv service should have been included. We only got 4 tv antenna channels. Hopefully this service will be added in the future.

It rained so we were limited on what activities we could do so we will have to come again. I was upset because we confirmed our site. I called to confirm our site again after the booking and when we arrived they moved our site stating the we didn’t pay a fee to confirm it. There was a personal reason to get the site I had and they should have said I may be moved when I called to confirm.

We have been coming there for 16 years....Every year for Memorial day camping! The price of the sites are ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.....This rear it was $146 a night and next year would be $174 a night....That is highway robbery.....Had no water pressure in my camper and everyone else was complaining too....Half the events that were supposed to happen...Never did and no more cable!

-let’s talk about concessions- cook very friendly. Ordered chicken tenders only to find out no sauces available- no ranch or bbq sauce - disappointing Ordered gyro - only to be told they have to fries. Mind you this is at 5 pm on Memorial Day weekend. We did the s’mores activity - make your own s’mores Only 5 families showed up and they had no chocolate for the Smores.. really? Do bett

Very overpriced for the amenities offered at this KOA. We have stayed there the past 5 Memorial Day weekends and will not be back for a holiday.

We were told that we would have water and electric and when we showed up, there was only one water spigot shared between our very tightly packed sites. I had to use my splitter with a stranger, and finally the KOA staff brought a splitter which should have been notated in the very beginning or fixed at the site. The sites are pretty packed in and there’s a ton of cabins. There are lots activitie

Friendly staff, clean and many activities to do. We stayed in the newer section, seemed like they stopped maintaining it and only mowed the sites there was no trimming and weeds growing in the sites and roadway. The pathway to the mines and lower section was not maintained and overgrown.

Me and my friend took her 9 yr old grandson here this past weekend. We stayed in a cozy cabin K16. Fresh linens provided, very clean, rustic, cute. This particular one did not have a bathroom but it was very close. Pretty, well maintained site with playground. Staff is FABULOUS and Phil gave our car a jump start as we were trying to leave with a dead battery. Outside of bathroom big sinks with Dawn soap/hot water to wash dishes. All the cabins and sites are beautiful and we had the mohawk to wade in a stone's throw! The shops are beautiful and he had fun in the mines. Not 1 piece of garbage, anywhere. I highly recommend this beautiful place, especially with a family. U can be in the thick of things or more secluded! JUST GO and see this 'GEM' of Upstate, NY!

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.
