The staff was very pleasant and upgraded me to a pull through site which allowed me to leave my tow dolly attached. That was a big help in set up and breakdown of camp!

One of my favorite sites! Clean and level. Lots of activities to do. Staying on the river is unique and very enjoyable. This has been my 3rd time staying there and will definitely be back!

We have been coming to the Herkimer KOA for 20 years 3 or 4 times a year. We use it as a place to sleep in our camper while during the day visiting with our daughter and her family who live just over the hill. We do not need or want the resort quality so the pricing is soon going to be out of reach since we are on a fixed income. Anything you could do to lower the price would be great.

Campground is in a great location and the river sights are perfect if you want to swim or float. Staff seemed alittle confused about activities and prices. When it comes to the river sights some of them face each other so very little privacy.

The campground was very nice, and we were happy with our site. The other side had sites closer together and playground which was crowded. Late check-in was great. Staff was very helpful when we went to check-in next morning. The firewood was a bit of a disappointment. Since you are not allowed to bring your own you almost have to buy theirs which is newer wood and smaller pieces at about $2 a log.

We have stayed at alot of KOA'S but at Herkimer KOA it has to be the cleanest and friendliest and prettiest we've ever stayed at! The only one thing I would tweak is more families involved games. AKA bingo! Games bring kids together and outside and meet new friends. Definitely will come back and thanks to Harold for always saying HELLO!

The staff was inexperienced (front desk-Was a teenager) We were a 45 foot motor home pulling a Jeep. We initially assigned a spot that a 40 footer would have trouble getting into and they did not inform us we should disconnect the jeep . Then gave us another site that we had to use the lawn are to get in. Recommend that their web site tell about limited access for large vehicles.

It was a very nice stay! The staff was extremely friendly and we had no major concerns. Two items we did find odd though. Our site had a sewer cover somewhat near the fire ring that did have some smell when we were near it. We also found it strange that there was a ice cream social that we were charged money for. I guess I just had a different idea of a resort location. Prob come again tho.

Extremely expensive, but I can see where KOA is investing a lot into the campground. I had a good time here, and everyone was very nice and very helpful.

Campground is clean, newly renovation, kind staff. We love to camp on the creek side. We found herkimer diamonds on the shoreline. There is a new park, with volley ball, playground, large yard chess and checkers. Store has anything you may need. Laundry and dishwasher stations. Full hookup sites at no extra charge. We love it!!

We stayed on a pull through site. It was a combination of gravel and mostly dirt and very unlevel. Bathrooms were in bad need of a refresh - fine for toilets and sinks but I would not take a shower there. For $105 a night, I expected a better experience. Not horrible, just not worth the money paid and the quality expected. There is lots of construction happening so it may be better in the future.

Beautiful background setting. Difficult to imagine a better campground in the U.S.. But, pulling my car behind a 40' pusher, up and down those little mountains, and unsure of where I'm towing it to, this was well worth the effort. Don't be afraid, even the snow geese playing in the river, right in front of the sight was worth it.! GO, GO, GO!!!!!

The rates are high compared to other KOA’s and there is slow or limited Wi-Fi. It’s good to see all of the additions under way which may put them closer to their price point. We were, unfortunately, very disappointed with the new menu at the Miners Table. Other than an aged dry Delmonico steak, the rest of the menu is like your typical pub menu. Pizza and Burgers.

2 nights to rest up after long hard travel. Beautiful and extremely interesting Campground. One of the most unique I’ve ever stayed at. We hope to make it back someday. Good luck!

We stayed at the Herkimer KOA as a couple with no kids over the Memorial Day weekend. This was opening weekend and it was packed- every spot, every cabin was occupied. One would think this would have been a downfall for a single couple looking for quiet glamping fun, but it wasn't. Every minute of our stay was great. We fished, floated the river, mined for diamonds, and relaxed. The campground was spotless, the bathrooms were clean, the amenities were stocked, the staff was friendly and helpful and the campers were respectful. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful hear after year. We love getting a tent spot right next to the West Canadian River. Every year they have been adding new things and updating the campground and mine accross the street. Great place to stay with the family.

Next to some wonderful mines that you can find some beautiful crystals. The solar cabins are amazing, lots to do and very family friendly. I would recommend going here at least once in your lifetime, fully worth the price and great overall experience!
