Loved every minute of our time at Herkimer Beautiful campground Loved the new area with the food and ice cream campers. Very well thought out. So nice Only complaint price of the ice cream was a little high

We were disappointed on several different areas: By the time we were allowed to check in the kids activities were over & no actives on Wednesdays (it rained) The site was TOO close. Our neighbors were not more than 8-10' The public music in the ice-cream/play area was too loud until 10pm. The main attraction of diamond mining cost $66 for family! There were no movies playing.

Nice campground! Great little common area with lawn games, fire pits with seats, and food trailers.

The site was amazing (by the water) and the staff was great. Manager Josh helped me with the charges and I appreciated it. Loved the addition of the coffee/ ice cream and food in the Garden which was new to me this year.

We had an enjoyable week. Weather was on and off, but no control over that. Surprised to not have cable TV when we showed up. Hoping that gets resolved for next year. Prices are up.

I booked 3-RV sites and two cabins for a family camping trip. Upon arrival the cabins weren't ready and we had to wait for housekeeping. They hadn't even started the cabins yet. We requested they do our cabins first. After moving in my daughter found the pillows and linens covered in bed bugs. They had to move their belongings 3-times. No one ever offered to compensate. Will NEVER stay again.

Where the river tells you to stay right is where you should get out and at the dump station there needs to be another valve so you can just turn on the hose hook up and not have the original hose spraying all over

Bath houses could be cleaner and the water pressure was terrible.

Campers are way to close together

We love it at Herkimer KOA. It is by far the best KOA we’ve been to. We travel from Oregon to Vermont and back again every year and Herkimer is our favorite. It is absolutely beautiful and incredibly maintained. Kudos to Herkimer!!!

The campground is very nice and clean, BUT, the music that you play in the common gathering area from the ice cream store is very intrusive. It is played constantly until around 9:30pm making it difficult to have a conversation or strum a guitar if you are camped nearby. It is like being camped near a rude camper.

Wish there would have been a camp host like most. KOAs have, maybe then they would have seen rhe flooding in our site while we were trying to park.

Stayed just a few nights. Park was clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay in site 82 right along the river.

We were placed in an ‘upgraded patio’ site, right by the front of the office. Very busy with traffic, kids, golf carts, pool noises, etc. Was not peaceful at all. Really nothing else for adults besides the diamond mine across the street, and that was ok.

We enjoy staying at Herkimer KOA. Friendly and helpful staff. My only negative comment is the fact that I was not advised that there was no longer cable service until I checked in. I would think that an email to all of the campers who have stayed in the past would have been sent advising that there was no longer cable service.

One of the nicest places we've ever stayed!! Beautiful campground, good-sized lots, right on the river (creek). Friendly, helpful people. Ice cream and food onsite. Great amenities! And right across the street from one of the Herkimer Diamond Mines. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful well kept park! Lots to do and stay entertained If you choose. Sites are big and kept clean. This park provides lots of extras too. Definitely our favourite KOA in Canada and the US.

We had a wonderful site (68) at creek side. It was so relaxing to sit by the creek and watch the tubers go by! We were there for my HS Reunion, so were offsite much of the time.

For a higher end KOA, and all those I have stayed at I would say this place left a bad taste. First negative review written. Front desk less than friendly at check in nor provided a good customer experience (girl dealt with, yes her first day but not trained well) and college girl at ice cream booth needs training (longer story than can explain). Cantina great/property nice. Contact if questions

Always a great time. Grounds much cleaner and the new park is awesome. We can definitely notice a difference in how many grounds/ maint workers were always busy. Keep the updates coming. Only thing is maybe find a differ t area for the dumpsters by the bath houses for the sites across from 70-76. The smells for our sites were awful. Becca was The Best as always

We did rebook, but the price increase will impact our return. The increasing cost of camping is getting to be ridiculous.

worst dump station I've ever used. not enough water pressure to hook up for tank cleaning jets. Poor set up all together. First time this year out of a dozen trips to different camp dump stations that I got wet and the smell was terrible. I would not use your dump stations again. I also watched the 4 people in front of me while I was waiting, and they ALL had problems.

Was a bit noisey at night, and super expensive.

We gave stayed for last ten years! The rates have doubled, adding a resort rate, and extra fee for picking site a year in advance! Weed whacking on sunday. The sewer connection on site 68 is 12 inches above ground, they all should be close to grade. Dangerous tree with most of root ball showing and rotting tree will fall on campsites69,70,71. Not the first time a tree has fallen on a campsite. FYI

Started out rough as the online reservation system overbooked the type of campsite I had reserved. However Josh was wonderful and took over and found us a great spot and was super helpful! The people we interacted with at the ice cream stand and food truck were really nice as well!

Campgrounds are very well taken care of. Very friendly staff. Tons of amenities, even things I’ve never thought of. After our reservation was messed up because the new sites were not ready, instead of canceling they really took care of us with our weekend being totally free. Had to move sites on day 2 but it was well worth it. We will definitely be back. The Diamond mines were a lot of fun.

I love that you made some upgrades with the food and ice cream trailers along with an area to hang out. The downside for us was the breaker kept blowing on our site as well as our friends site. This caused a problem especially when we had pets inside. The price of the KOA seems to be going up A LOT. This is not West Glacier and the prices should reflect that. Overall the staff was very friendly.

Was disappointed we didn’t know ahead of time about pirates weekend not being held. Have 2 younger daughters doing crafts, staff were not very helpful or friendly.

Great place to stay and they have made several updates! Love the new common area and the band was very good!

This place was stunning! We’ve stayed at KOAs all across the country and everyone agreed this one is a favorite. Very unique activities to do at this campground specifically.

Nice campground! Friendly staff! Kids had fun in the pool and garden play area.

Great place really enjoyed. Only a 4 because they had cable but the four campers that we had as a group none had working cable. Wi-Fi was probably the worst we had on our 14 day trip. Cell coverage also sucked. Great camp ground thou.

First site had no water outlet. Second site was taken. 8 AM coffee bar opened at 4 PM and don’t tell me the late opening had anything to do with the water main break. You hired a person who thinks 8 AM is too early. No advertised cable. No advertised WI-FI. You advertise a specific youth activity then who ever is running that program doesn’t show. Maybe that person was sleeping in too. Have

Staff was very friendly. Site numbers are confusing and we were neglected to be told how the pull in and back in rules applied. We actually set up on the wrong site at first and had to move. Sewer pipes are high off the ground at almost a 90 degree angle which made it difficult to dump. All in all it was a good trip and our grandkids enjoyed the tubing and swimming.

Nice place to spend near running creek. Staff was very welcoming and made sure our stay was good.

This place is amazing on all levels! Very clean, great food, great family fun! Smash burgers at the canteen, beautiful barn for venues, amazing dinners at the Minors' Table which will be open for brunch on Mother's Day... also a beer garden near the pool and creek as well as an ice cream shop. There is no need to leave once you arrive. Golf cart rentals and carts are available as well.

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.
