Nice and clean nice friendly people. The tent site was a bit small but we weren't really there much during our stay. Please just put a bathroom a bit closer to the tent area.

We had a great time! The cabins are very nice and clean. We will definitely stay there again next Summer. I highly recommend this resort.

We stayed at k5 cabin and the water to take a shower in the shower house was so low the water would pretty much shut off when someone flushed the toilet. Also our camp had a hornets nest in the eves and I could barely make food for the kids til it was night time or we started a fire so it smoked them out. And last but least there was a skunk under our camp and almost got sprayed.

Great time! Staff was very friendly and camping cabins were nice! Pool was clean and refreshing! Family really enjoyed mining!

Herkimer diamonds was always on my rock list. It was so exciting to actually find so many! I have to also say how pleasantly surprised I was with the campground. I’d always had a sort of negative vide for KOA. I’ve wasted so many years!!! This was a Wonderful place…..the staff was great!!

It is a beautiful campground with great amenities. It is clean and well maintained. The only downside was the cable hookup did not work. I reported the problem to the staff in the office. They said they would send Maintenace to investigate but no one came to investigate the problem.

It was nice, however I thought i booked a glamping pod site (4 beds, no bathroom/ktchn but had AC) and instead i got a regular cabin (with no AC). I was truly disappointed on top of having a cabin filled of flies.

The campsites along the River were beautiful and the activities were fun. The fact that the bathroom only had 2 stalls for so many people was ridiculous and the bathroom was filthy most of the time we were there. It would be nice if the movies played at movie night were not racist (the old Dumbo). Having conversations with my children about Jim Crow and black face on vacation was unexpected.

My girlscouts had alot of fun we did leave the campground to do other activities but they really like that when we was at the campground there was activities for them to do also they enjoyed the dancing and music in the pavilion

We had a great time! Sites are a little too close and we had someone’s doggies #2 mess upon our arrival but other than that we enjoyed ourselves.

Facility/staff very nice. Campground has nice sites but crowded, very little room between sites. Witness 2 campers trying park between 2 set up campers with slides. 1 was unable to open slides once in and left. He should have been able to but 1 of the already parked campers did not pull up to there patio close. #17 & 18 need help. Bad shape. Wont ever rent those again.

Site 7 was clean and just right for my family. Upon arrival & check-in, the staff was friendly and helpful. The patio table and grill at our site made this family trip easier to manage. We hope to return in the future but make a reservation at a shady site.

We had a beautiful cabin located on the Herkimer River. The bath house was conveniently located and always clean.

We loved our stay . The campgrounds are lovely. We were unsatisfied with the size of the camping site (#35) and the bath house was moldy in the shower stall. The water pressure was also very low ���

Another great stay at Herkimer Diamond. I commend them for recycling plastic glass and cans -just wish they also recycled paper / cardboard.

Had a great stay...great neighbors...clean site on river...clean facilities...the restaurant had great food...Lily, our waitress, was just a doll...finding a few "diamonds" was very cool...just such an enjoyable couple of days...

My visit could not have been better. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fabulous and the service was even better. The guy that makes the pizzas was extremely friendly and helpful.

It was wonderful. One of the maintenance crew even checked my tire pressure and added air before we headed home. I will definitely be coming back!

Very clean campsite. Lots of things for the kids to do when you bring them. The creek tubing is fun. Her commer diamond mines is a good hour and a half two hours worth of distraction for the young ones. And you must try the woodfired pizza, it is delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, even though they ran out of firewood Thursday night.

We stayed in KT4. The kitchen sink water only stayed hot for about a minute. That made washing a greasy pan near impossible. Also the drain was broken in the bathroom. We had to use a fork to hold it up. During a thunderstorm we took shelter under the pavillion where an employee quickly pulled up and distributed fossil eggs to the scared kids. You have wonderful folks working there! Loved it

Besides the rain on Thursday we had a great time! The cabin was clean and roomier than expected! We will definitely come back.

Great week. Site was good. Sewers fixed from last year (we were glad about that!) One day with TP missing in one of the men's stalls and then out in both women's stalls. Would have appreciated a prompter response to that - mentioned more than once. Ordered Pizza one night and were very pleased with the service time and quality of the product! Will definitely order from Miner's table again.

The mattress's in Cabin DK2 were terrible. old and lumpy! there are flood lights on the back of the cabin that lit the room all night making it difficult to sleep. The position of the "Miner's Cabins" make it difficult to enjoy the benefits of the pool, creek and other amenities other than the mines.

It was pretty good. I like the convenience of the dishwashing stations by the bathrooms. The sites are very close together. Quiet times are not enforced. Barking dogs were a nuisance at times. Prices are a little excessive for merchandise in the store.

Disappointed as there are no baby swings at the playground or splash pad for smaller children. Activities were scheduled but not done. When we asked about them we were told they are short staffed and will get someone on it. We have camped here on and off for many years. People were yelling or very loud at all hours of the night. This stay was by far the most disappointing.

The mattress was in the cabin was incredibly uncomfortable. Both on the bed and the futon. I think it’s about time to get rid of spring mattresses. Outside of that the campground was excellent

Perfect pull through site for our overnight stay. Had breakfast at the Miners cafe, then purchased some jewelry as a souvenir of our stay!

We only spent one night in a cabin and it was fairly close to the bathroom, so served our purposes. This is a large KOA for rvs and has lots of activities for kids. Glad the cabins were away from the all the rvs!

The water main broke twice during our stay. And there was barely enough hot water for a couple short showers back to back in the deluxe cabin we stayed in. Wifi is just awful so you are forced to buy the high speed. Beautiful grounds,lots of amenities, Very clean, Very friendly staff. We would come back but the water was the one issue we had during our stay.

We were disappointed that the Miners table would not be open Monday or Tuesday. Wish we were told that ahead of time when we booked the reservation. Whenever I called the local phone number I always had to leave my number and get a phone call back which was 1-2 hours later. Thank goodness it was not an emergency. Refrigerator in DK 5 was noisy and the door handle was broken.

We stayed at the Herkimer KOA as a couple with no kids over the Memorial Day weekend. This was opening weekend and it was packed- every spot, every cabin was occupied. One would think this would have been a downfall for a single couple looking for quiet glamping fun, but it wasn't. Every minute of our stay was great. We fished, floated the river, mined for diamonds, and relaxed. The campground was spotless, the bathrooms were clean, the amenities were stocked, the staff was friendly and helpful and the campers were respectful. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful hear after year. We love getting a tent spot right next to the West Canadian River. Every year they have been adding new things and updating the campground and mine accross the street. Great place to stay with the family.

Next to some wonderful mines that you can find some beautiful crystals. The solar cabins are amazing, lots to do and very family friendly. I would recommend going here at least once in your lifetime, fully worth the price and great overall experience!
