Everything was great. Only one issue with the hot water not working in the shower for one day before we left. Notified the office about issue. We ran water for over an hour taking two showers with it never warming.

We have been going to Herkimer KOA for over 30 yrs. We use the tent sites. We started going with our children and now we are taking our grandchildren. We love the tubing and the kids can play without any worries. Great family time.

Beautiful area with well maintained camp sites. The pull thru sites have concrete pads with a patio table, Adirondack chairs and gas grill.

Very nice campground, however a very tight site, when sitting outside we were right next to our neighbor and we could hear their conversations. No way to have a bonfire as the ring was right next to our car.

The only suggestion is that the staff at the craft area be a little more friendly and give more instruction with the crafts. I heard other guests voiced concerns and I also experienced it. Otherwise the grounds were beautiful. Store and bathrooms were clean. The RV tank clean out was on a hill, so I don't know how well that worked out.

This was our first experience staying at Herkimer Diamond KOA. We were very pleased with the mining, grounds and village. We were not impressed and a bit disappointed in the deluxe cabin condition. I have pictures if you are interested. We paid close to 200.00 per night and did not think we received the value for fall season on a Sunday & Monday nights. Disappointed EM

I was very disturb to see an employee from the Diamond Mine in the parking lot smoking pot, He then walked in to the place where I was purchasing tickets to the mine and the smell was just coming off of him. If I had a child with me I would have left, this was very unprofessionally for a KOA campground. We thought the campground its self was a nice place to stay.

Its a beautiful place to stay . Lots for kids to do. We stayed in the rustic cabin. My only complaint is the bed is hard to get out of because the matress is lower than the side of the bed. Other than that it was a grwat weekenf.

It's always the best stay even if it is raining. My husband and I have been coming there for over 15 years. It's the best,although there was a slight problem with the bathroom. k1 to k10 bathroom ,was unable to flush toilets, there seem to be no water input to flush.

Great accommodations, great environment, fantastic staff..stayed for a three-night weekend and loved every minute of it..bring a good solid mallet, cold chisels, and buckets if you want to do good "mining"..renting a wagon is likely a good idea if you're spending a full day in..activities were fun and there's alot of dining and shopping within an easy 20-30 minutes of the campground..

We're experienced campers who were looking for a new site, and boy were we impressed! KOA's cabins are amazing! We were in Lapis Lullabies and didn't want to leave. From the cable TV, fresh linens, and fridge, then the firewood left on our doorstep. All staff were friendly and helpful. Weren't too successful at the mine, but we didn't even care we had such a great time. Can't wait to come back!

This is our second visit here and to no surprise, we had a AWESOME experience! The atmosphere in the garden is so relaxing! Great food and drinks! Cant wait to visit again next year!

It was great. My only suggestion - don't nickle and dime people - our cabin was ready, but they still charged us $25 early check in fee. They said it is automatic for any check in before 3pm. I assume that is a KOA regulation. frustrating.

Very neat , clean campground. Lots to discover there and do. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful scenery in the mountains. The Herkimer Mine was an added plus to visiting the area. Will return there again and stay longer next time. Love the serenity of the river.

It was absolutely great!! We loved our cabin # 325 and we are hoping to make it an annual trip, with more friends to join us!! See you next summer when we could enjoy the pool and the river too!!

Had a great weekend with the hubby! Enjoyed the creek and campground. Bingo was a good time. Cabin and bathrooms were clean. Been going for 6 years, and our only complaint is the cost getting so high. In 2021 a deluxe cabin was $220/night and for 2026 they are going up to over $400/night. Other than that no complaints, girl at front desk was very helpful also. Be back next year in small cabin.

Loved our stay. Didn’t use any of the activities, but our site was very comfortable and clean. The only negative from our visit was the mattress - it seemed to slant on one side and my partner fell out of bed 3 times while sleeping, which is not a normal occurrence. It was also so soft it hurt my back/kept me awake! So the mattress was awful. We were still happy and would return.

Nice campground. We stayed as a 2 night rest stop, did not use much in the facilities. The incoming staff was friendly and the site was easy to get into. The site was mainly dirt and fairly level. WSE all worked. It rained heavy that night and we did end up with 1/4" of mud around the camper which explains the dirt. Being end of the year it was quiet. Incoming and outgoing road is fairly narrow.

Great location and well tended park with a lot additional things for all ages. The only issue that we saw/had was the main bathhouse at the admin building was under construction for remodeling with a tile job half done. While there was no work going on during the Holiday weekend it was unfortunate to have it out of order during that period. Would definitely do a return trip... Thanks JimS

The treehouse appears much larger on your website. It was very cramped and we were unable to get any local news. Need instructions for Roku tv.

Me and my friend took her 9 yr old grandson here this past weekend. We stayed in a cozy cabin K16. Fresh linens provided, very clean, rustic, cute. This particular one did not have a bathroom but it was very close. Pretty, well maintained site with playground. Staff is FABULOUS and Phil gave our car a jump start as we were trying to leave with a dead battery. Outside of bathroom big sinks with Dawn soap/hot water to wash dishes. All the cabins and sites are beautiful and we had the mohawk to wade in a stone's throw! The shops are beautiful and he had fun in the mines. Not 1 piece of garbage, anywhere. I highly recommend this beautiful place, especially with a family. U can be in the thick of things or more secluded! JUST GO and see this 'GEM' of Upstate, NY!

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.
