Everyone liked the campground. Our cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The heat and air worked well. The bed was comfortable and there was enough plates, pots and silverware. There was no food on site because it was only offered on the weekends. Our only problem was the bathroom door. It was broken. It was a sliding, somewhat heavy, door that was challenging to move.

Two reasons for not a 5 were..the dumpstation is on a hill! And not in a traffic friendly place. Second is, for the price, the sight was very short and not an easy back in for how small they are. The grounds are beautiful!

Small cabins were very cute and clean. Loved the proximity to the diamond mining. Only wish they had more closet storage for your clothes and brighter lighting. I will definitely visit again!

We had so much fun staying here! We rented a pod and it was very comfortable. I had fun doing tie-die and rafting on the river. I would def stay again-probably the nicest campground we have stayed at. thank you

We were very pleased with the KOA until Saturday evening. The cabin was everything we could hope for and needed. It was a very peaceful stay, until Saturday evening. There was a wedding reception in the event tent and the DJ could be heard all over the park! It was not pleasant music! We were in cabin DK2 directly down the hill from the tent. We will not stay here again if there's an event.

We stayed in the tree house - wished we could have stayed longer! At check-in Philllip was very pleasant & kind -Will definitely return- I have already told multiple ppl how enjoyable Herkimer was

The new mini homes are lovely. A beautiful view! As with all things there were a few flaws. No shampoo in dispenser, floor of shower is pitched oddly, no cleaning tools or trash bags. All in all a lovely stay.

The staff were absolutely incredible, so polite and helpful. I only rated 4 stars because the shower water never got hot, only one shower got to warm at the end of the women’s bathroom. I understand it’s the end of the season and staff was probably cut but the one staff member working both food stations (the grill and the cafe) could’ve used some help as it was busy. We can’t wait to come

With electrical being cut off with no notice and being on C-Pap a phone call would have been nice don't all ways have access to E-mail

The staff were friendly and the park and bathrooms were clean. Nice spacious sites in a beautiful setting. Access to the diamond mine was easy and there were a lot of activities for a family to enjoy. My disappointment was with the firewood purchased there and that the dining options were not available. The restaurant was closed and snack shop was not open during posted hours.

The beds were in poor shape, the table leg fell off. Floor was not clean when we checked in. Definitely not worth $600 for 2 nights. Staff were friendly.

This place is great but the bed were really uncomfortable and I had to sleep.in my car. The lights on the cabins are yellow and.not bright at all. Had a hard time cooking in the evening

It was beautiful, great areas to walk the dogs and see the scenery. The campsites were very spacious and the staff was very friendly.

Was easy to check in. The staff was very helpful and even though the Miners table was closed we were directed to other nearby local restaurants that were very good.

We had a great experience as soon as we pulled in. The place was super clean and well-maintained. Had a slight issue with a camper that their dog would not stop barking. The manager took immediate action and took care of the situation. We ate at the old airstream concession stand, and the food is great. We dealt with Nancy a few times and she was super helpful and friendly. The manager great!!!!

Very comfortable cottage. However, I did not see the description for the "loft" bedroom with two twin beds. Us 70 something adults found them unusable with only 3.5 ft headroom. But, between the queen bed and futon, we were fine.

The glamp pod was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable! The fire pit was also enjoyable in the evening. We would definitely stay here again. I would truly recommend it! We had so much fun!

This is our second visit this season. This campground is awsome . From activities , the camp store, clean bathrooms, and instant access to the West Canada Creek this is the place that's good for anyone. Had a GREAT time. And will be back next season.

Herkimer Diamond KAO is a beautiful campground. Very quite and family oriented. I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I have is the mattresses in the cabins are not comfortable.

We stayed on the mountain top. We had a wonderful night it was clean, quiet and the sites are very roomy. It was an amazing night for star gazing! we will stay again.

Liked everything except the fact that on our first night they checked someone in at 11:30pm so we were woken up to banging and clanking and profanity being shouted by this individual as he set his tent up without a light so he turned his car on in front of OUR site not his and had the lights shining right on our tent. Livid is an understatement. There’s more. But no room to type

Just stayed overnight but the campground was in a beautiful valley with lovely trees. With a dinner truck and an ice cream stand, right by a river, cute clamping pods and cabins, it had something for everyone.

One of the prettiest camps we have ever stayed in. It is off the beaten path restrooms were clean. Staff was very pleasant. Lovely creek running beside it. Highly recommended.

Me and my friend took her 9 yr old grandson here this past weekend. We stayed in a cozy cabin K16. Fresh linens provided, very clean, rustic, cute. This particular one did not have a bathroom but it was very close. Pretty, well maintained site with playground. Staff is FABULOUS and Phil gave our car a jump start as we were trying to leave with a dead battery. Outside of bathroom big sinks with Dawn soap/hot water to wash dishes. All the cabins and sites are beautiful and we had the mohawk to wade in a stone's throw! The shops are beautiful and he had fun in the mines. Not 1 piece of garbage, anywhere. I highly recommend this beautiful place, especially with a family. U can be in the thick of things or more secluded! JUST GO and see this 'GEM' of Upstate, NY!

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.
