Beautiful and clean campground, staff friendly and helpful. Cabin had every amenities you could need. The campground is just a little overpriced, I know things nowadays are inflated but 2 pizzas and 10 wings shouldn’t be 60! The store there too jacks up the prices, but other then that great campground

Lots of things to do , loved everything except the fact that every other rv site was on the wrong side, it made it very difficult to get out of the door and you were right on top of somebody else’s site

Group 6 sites down blasted horrible music all day and into the night. Could not hear ourselves think or enjoy sitting outside. That should not be allowed. Ruined my vacation. Extremely disappointed at the lack of follow through by the KO@ staff after they were asked to turn the music down.

We enjoyed the various activities available for children which was our primary reason for choosing this destination. However, for the cost of the accommodations, the tent sites are VERY close together. We had no privacy and could hear our neighbors late at night. In addition, people tubing down the creek would disembark and walk through our site. Bathrooms were not cleaned during our stay.

Was booked a new patio site and when we got there they said it didn't exist yet. Why did they allow us to book it? Then they told us there was no price difference .... um no. Of course there was - a new KOA Patio site vs a squished site??? Plus we paid for a locked site????? My husband said they finally gave him some refund but in my book it should have been free.

The Kabin was neat, clean and well equipped. We liked the river ride, but it was too cold for us to experience this stay. The staff was warm and welcoming and helpful in answering questions.

The campground is designed very nicely and very well kept up. However, we felt for basic utility hookups, it was a little expensive for us.

All went well although PRICING has increased dramatically and they DECREASED activities - no more rock bingo, no more ice cream social or dj, no more pancake breakfast or tie dye...VERY disappointing

Great staff and well maintained grounds. Really enjoyed the recent improvements. Only reason I wouldn't recommend this to everyone is the cost. Not necessarily the price for the camp sites but more so the cost of any extras such as food or ice cream in the courtyard, small bundles of pine firewood and the cost of everything at the diamond mine.

Very nice campground. My kids loved the pool. Only complaint bathrooms were a little dirty and outdated. And the live music is very loud. Besides that a very nice campground, and we will be back.

We expecting a lot more out of a KOA resort. employees not very knowledgeable about what is going on. The grass needed mowed.

Enjoyed our stay except for several barking dogs. Would like to see another bathroom or two added sometimes waited to use. Very nice and clean friendly staff.

We had an amazing time!! Stayed in one of the cabins with no bathrooms and found the outdoor shared ones to be extremely clean and the cabin to be very comfortable! Every worker on site was extremely friendly and respectful. Our first time at a KOA site and hope to go back again!

Timing is everything? KOACompany party first night. No food on site open. (Thought there were 3). Checked in @ 4:30 Had to leave to find diner in town. Cabin -up next to the mine. That was convenient. getting down to the pool, water, food trucks needed car. Mining is $18per person. Less than 1/2 roll toilet paper for 4 of us, very dirty silverware- It really was a Nice cabin. I expected too much.

we had a fantastic time. the activities were great. we loved the bonfire and music on friday night. the cabin was decent. what i’d expect from glamping. the staff went above & beyond to get us blankets and a propane grill to use to cook our dinner. HUGE thanks Josh ! my boys (and husband)!had a great time mining for gems. we will def be back.

The best campground I've stayed at so far. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Thanks to Josh, Travis, and the rest of the crew for an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be visiting again next year.

Cabin was clean and ready for our stay. Pool was very dirty. Both the on-site restaurant and Scoops Ice Cream truck were closed when they should have been open. I asked why icecream closed /guy said I dont know We visited the Camp Store 3/4 times during our stay. I was with my 9yr old one of the times and they were blasting inappropriate music. Music with profanities like F**k. I was shocked.

Had a nice stay in RK5. Although the furnishings were not quite what was posted online we made do just fine. The staff was very friendly and got us what we needed. The weather for mining was great and we found some very nice clear and smoky gems. Wish the lapidary booth was open though - been here 2x and haven't had a chance to see what can be made out of our finds. Hopefully next year! Thx!

This campground had many amenities. The sites were well maintained and backed to a lovely river. I wish I could give a higher rating but unfortunately the bathrooms were dirty with paper on the floor, sinks that were dirty and floors/grout that needed a good power washing. For a place so nice it is a shame they do not have cleaner facilities.

The number 1 KOA experience, and we’ve been to a few (like 20 or so). We had a wonderful time at the mine and finished the day with pizza and drinks in the Garden. This is a well designed campground. The staff are friendly, courteous, and on top of the hospitality game. Although we stayed as an overnight stopover, we’ll be back to spend much more time with the site as our destination.

The new bier garten is amazing. Wonderful property. Stayed in cabin 78. Only “issue” would be that we wanted to go have a drink and order food from the local Miners diner and no staff were actually manning the diner. Also the tall fire pits at our and the neighboring station really need to be dug into the ground so that the embers of the fire continue to produce a nice fire on larger pieces.

We had a rough start as there was an excavator sitting on the site we booked a year ago. Had an issue with an employee but it all worked out. The manager Travis did a fantastic job and we are looking forward to staying in the new section on top of the hill next year.

Stayed in DK3 was great, could use better linen supply/ replenishment, TP. Overall stay was great diamond pit out the back door. Our gro found about 200 diamonds over 4 day stay, be ready to smash rocks

We had an excellent time & didn't want to leave! We loved the improvements, especially the Garden area & all that it had to offer. Our kids loved the river tubing, ice cream stand, disc golf, 4-wheel bike rentals, & diamond mining. We loved the atmosphere & our on-the-river site. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an enjoyable & memorable last trip before school starts!

Loved it! There was a lot of activities for the kids to do. The campsite was very clean. I would suggest keeping the bathroom a little more cleanly. Particularly the one that was closest to our tent site T114. I would also recommend adding speed bumps has some cars go fast throughout the campground. Other than that our stay was phenomenal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Herkimer KOA. We all found some Herkimer diamonds, and enjoyed the short walk across the street. The tubing looked really fun, but the water was a little too cold for me. My niece's cabin was right on the river and there were three little ducks that were very friendly. All linens were provided in cabins, which was a nice treat. The cabin was very comfortable.

Very Busy KOA but many appreciated ammenities. The pool and outdoor play area (DJ party on Saturday night) were great. Showers were clean and staff was very helpful.

Staff at front desk was the best. Had to change sites and they were very helpful. Jimmy is the only name I can remember but the other young man was just as helpful. They should get a raise.

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
