We decided to do one last camping trip using our tent for season, not realizing that weekend was boy scouts of America weekend. There were 250 boy scouts there and without even asking, Koa took the initiative ahead of our arrival to put us on the other side of the campground so we could have a quieter area. This was one of the more uninspiring campground stays I have had in 49 years of RVing. What makes it more so is that the site was $107 for the night. The park was loaded for the weekend and multiple tenters were parked in FHU drive-through sites around me, and they had their flood lights illuminating my coach all evening. The site wasn't very level and was gravel and dirt which was mud by AM. $$$$

Everything was good, we we’re comfortable. The guy at the front desk was a little strange though. I pre paid for my visit, and when I dropped off the key and began to walk away he told me to come back because I didn’t pay. I know I’m a poor redneck but I paid dude, chill out.

We came to stay for the weekend for the Boy Scout Jamboree. The staff here are amazing and so accommodating. We have stayed here 2 years in a row with the scouts and will be back next year. I cannot say enough good things about this campground and the staff, they are so accommodating and incredibly kind.

The Staff was amazing both at the diamond mines and the KOA. My Scouts are already talking about next year's Merit Badge event. As a Leader hearing my Scouts say that Warms my heart. Thank You

Wonderful camping resort. Used it as an overnight while traveling. If we lived in the area would strongly consider using it as a destination vacation.

Beautiful campground/resort. Loved being close to the river. Breakfast at the cafe was wonderful (biggest burrito I have ever seen)! Staff is pleasant and helpful and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Definitely a destination in itself. We had lots of fun at the mine. The restaurant was excellent. Campsites were nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful

We loved staying at Herkimer Diamond KOA! Campground was well kept and facilities were nice and clean. It was a beautiful fall view from campsite 69. Kendal the activities director was amazing with our kids!

Best campground we have ever been to. Only complaint, not really a complaint, suggestion, the dog park could be bigger. Still great place, can't wait to come back

This was by far the cleanest nicest park we stayed in throughout our two week vacation! All the extras that came with the site were amazing & the river was pretty too. We enjoyed the remoteness of the site as well as all the help that folk that work here gave us!

Grounds were great, staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue is the quiet hours are not enforced. I feel when we check in staff needs to remind campers of the quiet hours. Also remind those with diesel trucks to be respectful of others and not let them idles for extended periods of time.

Herkimer Diamond KOA is very clean with beautiful views, has plenty of room, great privacy and the staff is great.

Overpriced, outdated bath facilities, poor linens, uncomfortable beds. Nice fire pit and grills. Mine is a joke and worst fee dig site to get something from. Complete waste of time.

We love this campground and the diamond mines. The staff here are so nice. The new RV sites are my favorite.

I will definitely come back!!! The drive to this place from home is only 20 min and with a 9 month old baby, is VERY CONVENIENT . I absolutely loved everything this place offered! Could not use the pool because it wasn't ready yet so that was the only thing that disappoint me. I went camping 6 years ago and my experience was so horrible that I hated camping no matter where!!! But this place made me LOVE CAMPING! And I look forward to visit here every summer! Also my 6 year old LOVED IT IN ALL THE WAYS POSSIBLE HE HAD SO MUCH FUN ! Thank you to the employees for the attention.
