The new Mountain Side cost the same as the original sites where all the activities and services are. To access these if you don’t have a vehicle you must walk down about 200 stairs cross the road and go down another flight of stairs. If you wish to get a site where all the services you must pay a site guarantee of $25. there are bathrooms that while flush toilets are more like outhouses.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was adorable and clean. Staff were helpful, accommodating and friendly. Property is beautiful and well maintained. We will be back.

We had a good time in miners village cabin. I was disappointed that there were no activities during our weekend ( 10/19 - 20) Just because it's the end of the year shouldn't mean that you don't offer what happens in peak times.

I REALLY ENJOYED STAYING THERE AND I LOVE BEING ABLE TO BE RIGHT THERE BY THE CANADA CREEK STAFF WAS VERY NICE A LOT TO OFFER HOWEVER YOUR LAUNDRY ROOM NOT ONLY IS IT DATED YOUR WASHERS AND DRYERS DO NOT WORK MADE MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE VERY DISAPPOINTING HAD TO WASH MY CLOTHES TWICE WATER LEVELS AND WASH CYCLES WERE NOT WORKING PROPERLY HAD TO DRY MY CLOTHES TWICE AND THEY STILL CAME OUT ALL WET

We arrived in the and The directions on the map they left for us made no sense. It told us to look for a little side street to park on but yet there was a driveway behind our pod. While it was nice I didn’t feel like it was worth what we paid. There was no WiFi in the cabin. I messaged the number that is listed to ask for assistance with the WiFi but they don’t respond.

Nicest campground I have ever stayed at! The grounds were immaculate and the crew who managed it were tireless. The cabin and bathrooms were super clean. I'm already planning my next visit!

Always the best time at the diamond mines KOA. The property is taken care of, everything is so clean and the staff is really so helpful and cheerful!

One night stay. Asked for a pull through. In order to access site one needed to either back in or out as it faced water. Pretty, but not what we asked for, and as we arrived after hours we had to take it. Also, no paperwork was left out for us as late arrivals. Had to call. Expensive - much more so than other KOA's we've visited.

Just can't say enough about this EXTREMELY well managed campground. Exceptional decor and planning from back up river spots, cabins, community gathering area or private, just everything!! Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

The new sites behind the mine area was quite nice. My constructive criticism would be is that the sites are too close to each other. We were lucky enough only to be one of four campers there, but I could see it being a little too close for comfort., Otherwise it’s a nice set up.

The diamond mind was amazing. The campground was just ok. Website shows way more built than what is really up on the mountain side. We didn't even stay in the numbered sites that were on the website for what we booked (300-307). Cabin was nice but had no wifi and needed a few things.

We stayed in a cabin which was nice. However, the heater didn’t work nor did the TV. We did alert the office the next morning after we realize that and the front desk person was extremely pleasant. However, the gentleman that came to take a look at it was not. He did end up fixing the TV, which had a missing cord and ended up switching the broken heater. We now all have colds since it was in

The mine was great. Food and drink offerings were good. The issue I had was with the glamping pod/cabin. #270, I believe. The door handle was almost falling off. The privacy screen on the front door was hanging off, so no privacy. The stickers and backing were still on the bathroom window, the worse one was in the shower unit. Made the whole bathroom look very grotty. Sink was hot, shower cold.

This is a very beautiful peaceful park. Only a one night stay but hopefully we will be this way in the future.

Absolutely coming back again. Already making plans for our next visit. Staff was great. The accommodations were excellent and mining was so much fun.

We really loved it there! The campgrounds location and all its amenities were outstanding! I want to do a shoutout to Becky (registration) and Harold and Rob (maintenance) for their friendliness and for conversation! We learned a lot about the area from them!

Stayed overnight with my daughter, niece and sister-in-law. Enjoyed having a fire ring from which we were able to toast hot dogs and s'more. The employees at check-in were friendly and helpful. Next year we will try to get cabins next to one another. Really liked that you had a ice cream and adult beverage car.

Beautiful resort campground with lots of amenities. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We stayed on a site along the river that was amazing. Absolutely love this campground!

Beautiful!!!! Staff is so nice!!! First time staying with you due to our travels to Maine. Definitely will be back! Clean and quiet and stunning landscaping! Bathrooms are clean and updated! Also had fun at the diamond mine! We were so pleased that we added another night to our stay!

The view and campground is beautiful the only thing that was a bummer was showers behind main office desperately need to be updated had to shower in low pressure luke warm water in chilly weather

I really like the campground, but seems to be getting worse over the years. This past weekend it seems my cabin was a bit infested with mice. I could hear them in the walls. One time while resting on to the bed one ran right up the bed. Also, the hot water for the shower did not seem to work. All this being said I'm not sure if I will stay next year. On the positive staff was amazing!!

Very disappointed for this last stay- the website started the fall fest with activities was this last weekend which I thought odd it wasn’t on Columbus weekend - I booked the night 10 days ago per the ad - upon check in they stated yes it was a mistake and others were very upset as well but nothing they could do - stating all activities are subject to change-great place poor customer service

This was such a cute and cozy campground.I loved that it had a variety of options, from tent sites to full cabins,as well as several options for food,fun activities,and it was very clean and well designed. I was very disappointed that the " astronomy lodge" cabin I chose ended up not having a telescope, as advertised .I was given a 10% refund, but would have chosen a different lodge, had I known.

I received your message and am really disappointed in koa. Our family has held a reunion in Herkimer for over 15 years, bringing 70-80 cousins together making countless memories. It now includes four generations.I found it necessary to cancel some reservations due to family reasons. I was told I would be charged $25 each. Customer service is the key to successful business operations, this is an extremely poor example of that skill. The amount of $25 for each reservation cancellation adds onto an already large amount of money I spend there .Koa would not miss this amount, in my financial life, it matters. It also says a lot about koa and their lack of appreciation for loyal customers

The entire experience was amazing. The cabin was clean. They provided everything needed from dishes and pans to towels and shampoo. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. The mine was a great found some great crystals. Will definitely be back!
