Wonderful stay at Herkimer KOA. Beautiful campground. We stayed at site 216 on the mountainside part of the campground near. It is a newer section of the campground. Pull through with full hook up. Very peaceful and quiet. Roads were easy to navigate. Spent one day looking for crystals and found a few. Drove to Cooperstown to visit for the day and see the Baseball Hall of Fame.

We loved the campground it was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. A great place to bring grandchildren.

Herkimer Diamonds KOA is a great KOA with a large property and many different things to do. Because Herkimer KOA is a resort the fees for the stay are higher. We camped in April which meant many of the amenities were not available. Wish fees for camping could be adjusted accordingly. That being said this is a great campground, with an amazing staff!!

Overall the park is nice. Our cabin was pretty dirty though. Lots of spiderwebs and dirt in the cabin. I've worked for the parks in Michigan for years and we always do a deep clean at the beginning of the season. This definitely wasn't done. Also had my shoes stolen from our porch. Didn't seem like the front desk people cared to much which was crappy.

Our Cabin was very nice but it was infested with spiders. I killed about 20 before I went to bed. I woke up to having 2 more on the ceiling and one crawling on the side of our bed and more in the bathroom. I'm not a spider fan.

Pros: nice location. Nice camp sites and rvs. Playground for the kids. Cons: women’s Shower/bathrooms smell as if the septic is backing up. Shower water was cold. You’d be lucky to get it like warm shower.

Early season, we were aware not full service or amenities. We were disappointed to see the nearest bathroom had issues, No hot water, low water pressure, soap & paper towel dispenser not working. during our full stay, after repeat mentioning it We enjoyed the extra room for our troop since no other campers were in nearby sites. It is a great camp, We had a great time. scouts already talk of ret

The staff was amazing! The site was the most level I’ve had. Plan on going back, which for me is a rarity.

Hilltop Mountain View lodge was very luxurious, clean and cozy. It has everything you need so you can pack light. We were there when it was cold and had no issues with heat or hot water for showers. It is a 10 minute hike to the mining area so you may want to drive if you opt for these beautiful new lodges. My family will remember this experience.

DK1 Cabin. Nice. Clean. Had everything you need. Bedding, towels, soap, dish soap, paper towels, dishes, cookware, silverware. Good heat except the bathroom. not sure of that setup. Happy to have the warming light and the hot water. I would stay there again. Wish the prices weren't so high on the cabins.

Person at front desk of KOA was very nice and informative. Cabin was a perfect size for a family of 5. Location was very convenient to the mines. All of us enjoyed looking for diamonds at the mines.

Fantastic campground, plenty of amenities! Stayed in one of the Glamping pods and it was everything I needed. I also attended the 1st Crack Event at the mine and it was amazing! Would recommend

Loved the hospitality of the staff. We came in late after office hours and they left the key for us. Our favorite KOA is in Herkimer and we have been coming back for years.

We had an excellent stay, the cabin was really lovely and much nicer than I expected plus it was well stocked. We could not have asked for more. Check in was easy and the staff were helpful. Thanks KOA, we will definitely be back!!

It was a great stay as always. I absolutely love herkimer diamond mining and to have such an amazing place to stay right on site. It doesn't get much better than this place.

My husband and I came for the first dig. We have been to the mine many times but this was the first time on opening day. We were very impressed how organized every thing was. All the employees were very kind and friendly. We will be back later in the year.

The weather was beautiful. We were on the mountain side and we absolutely loved the peace and tranquility. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff, particularly Harold, is always available and present to help with anything. Thank you to all. Will definitely recommend.

We stayed in an electric RV site and tent camped. It was a great price. Restrooms were clean, the store was stocked with a lit of great things, the firewood/ice QR codes and delivery to your campsite it an incredible system! There are so many extra like the Karaoke, there's a pool, The Garden area is spectacular! It was quiet and all the staff was so nice, friendly and happy to help. Will be back

Vic was very knowledgeable, and knew exactly what to do, answered all my question. I cut myself and he gave me bandaids and alcohol wipe to clean the cut. He seem to genuinely care. The room was marvelous. There were enough towels, pillows, sheets, and a nice shower. The tv was nice. I had a really nice time for my 42nd anniversary. I couldn't believe it was that nice at a great price.

Loved my stay. I was alone! Nobody bothered me. It was exactly what I needed!! I will be back for the stay, but I think I'll leave the digging to the professionals lol

My husband and I stayed one night on our way home from a long trip in late October. We had a W/E site next to the river. Sites are wide and mostly level.The bathrooms are among the best I have ever seen at an RV resort. My only complaint wis that the office hours were 9-5 and when we got there around 4 they were already closed. Also no one answered phone or text.

I received your message and am really disappointed in koa. Our family has held a reunion in Herkimer for over 15 years, bringing 70-80 cousins together making countless memories. It now includes four generations.I found it necessary to cancel some reservations due to family reasons. I was told I would be charged $25 each. Customer service is the key to successful business operations, this is an extremely poor example of that skill. The amount of $25 for each reservation cancellation adds onto an already large amount of money I spend there .Koa would not miss this amount, in my financial life, it matters. It also says a lot about koa and their lack of appreciation for loyal customers

The entire experience was amazing. The cabin was clean. They provided everything needed from dishes and pans to towels and shampoo. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. The mine was a great found some great crystals. Will definitely be back!
