We rented a “deluxe” cabin. Our full size bed was a futon, the sheets left for us were not only full of holes but they were for a much larger bed so they came off during the night. The hi speed internet was nonexistent. And if you want to truly mine for diamonds, find a place where you aren’t only allowed in the discard piles from the “real@ miners.

All in all it was a great trip, however my site (65) there was issues with the electric hookup. Our camper kept kicking off, never any issues with it anywhere else. Something was going on with that site (65). I also rescued a little girl from the river Saturday night, she fell off her tube and was being swept down the river and was Not a good swimmer. A free night would be nice as a thank you.

Every thing was great, except the beds. Ever single one is extremely uncomfortable. I love the new ice cream truck and the coffee bar looks like it will be a great addition. But none of that matters, if everyone is cranky because they couldn’t sleep. Please update the mattresses!!!!

I know that it has new owners that are very nice! but they have lots of work to do! We have never stayed there or at an KOA that the lawn is not taken care of! The dog park isn’t mowed, Actually most of the lawn had not been manicured at all The sites were not cleaned actually had to go ask for another site as it was not clean! The price we paid for the stay we are hoping it changes!

Love the shade but picnic tables was covered in bird droppings. No longer offer cable TV. We are Airstream owners and your advertisement is a misrepresentation of Airstream products! If your intent is to sell alcoholic beverages I think that is a bad idea at a family campground. We have camped at your facility almost yearly for the past several years. We live close by. Not likely we will return.

It was our first time here (second time ever camping) and we LOVED it. The kids had a fantastic time. The facilities were beautifully maintained, and there was so much to do. We ended up booking for 2024

we have stayed here in the past and really enjoyed it. This season, there was less staff, no consistency to previous years with check-in and cleanliness. The store/office was not open early and seemed to have random hours. One camper went from site to site to ask for quarters for the laundry machine as the office/ store was closed and no change machine. Overall, good stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in a pull-through site. The campground was very quiet and we really enjoyed having direct access to the river. I particularly appreciated the walking trail and the good roads around the campsite. If we return to this location, we shall definitely stay at Herkimer Diamond KOA.

Bed sheets were stained and gross on main bed and pull out bed. Window air conditioner couldn’t cool a bathroom, dog poop everywhere on our site, public bathrooms disgusting, small refrigerator didn’t cool

Great campground. Friendly staff and campers. Just getting too expensive. Sad that many KOA's are starting to price themselves so high. We are starting to ,check out locally owned campgrounds as we search for places to stay.

There is minimal cell service and the camp wifi is terrible. For the price of the stay, reliable wifi should be available. The removal of the playground and basketball court forced all of the kids to the only remaining play area, bring back another play area! Heat the pool so you can actually use it! The DJ dance party was TERRIBLE,bring back the DJ. The DAILY activity fee is insane and overpriced

The price went way up but the experience went way down. Sites not mowed, kids activities lacked supplies, DJ was bad, the nice playground is gone and wifi is terrible. Paying $130 per night plus an additional $20 per night for activities is expensive. I don't mind paying extra for a quality experience but unfortunately we just didn't get what we paid for this time. Attention to detail is needed.

Don’t skimp on the DJ and fix the WiFi. Get rid of the chess board, or take the pieces away during quiet hours so we don’t have to listen to a kid bang them on the ground at 6:10am. $20 activity fees is stupid.

We have been camping here for 19 years and have been very disappointed for the last 5. We continue coming back because of the creek. we reserved 3 sites for our group, one of which the grass was to my waist. we felt rushed to pack up, as a staff member was driving around all morning.The prices are outrageous, how do you jump from $1 scoop of ice cream to $5, we went to stewarts to buy half gallon

We have been coming to the Herkimer KOA for the last 12 years. Our excitement turned to disappointment because certain activities and programs were no longer being held. It's a beautiful place and my family looked forward to visiting every year, but I think this may be the last year we visit.

Campground was very clean. Sites are nice and level. Had a relaxing weekend with our son and daughter-in-law who were down the street from us. Very quiet in the evening.

Our only complaint was that the grass on the sites was not mowed. We paid alot of money for a holiday weekend and the grass could have been mowed.

We have had a large group (6 sites, 2-3 cabins) camping on Memorial Day weekend every year for the past 10+ years. Our reservations have been screwed up for the last two years - missing sites, incorrect sites. Management's willingness to help correct these errors had been far less than stellar. As a result this was, sadly, our last year coming to Herkimer KOA.

It was amazing!! We Loved our site near the water! The kids could play on the beach. They thoroughly enjoyed looking for critters in the water. The whole family loved tubing! We will definitely be back!!

We love the Herkimer KOA. I will say though that the reason we always come here Memorial Day weekend is for the activities. This year there was only one staffer working the activities whorl no fault of her own was very stressed and there were very few activities compared to other years. However the sites are beautiful and we always have a great time!

We stayed at the Herkimer KOA over Memorial Day weekend, the busiest weekend of the year. The campground was packed, every single spot was occupied. One would imagine that this would be a downfall for a single couple looking for a quiet weekend away from home, but every single minute of our stay was fantastic. It was quiet, a peaceful view of the river. The person who checked us in was able to move us a couple of spaces to avoid campfire smoke. The Herkimer diamond mine is very interesting.

We stay often but this time was a little different. I was given the wrong site number at check in. Get to my site and the water pressure was awful. Made do but it was that bad. Restaurant advertises delivery. They told me the don't when I went there because nobody answers the phone. Normally a 5 star and I'm sure the next stay will be but this one time was different.

we were surprised noone was available at the gift shop after 9am so we could check out so we just ended up leaving the key in our room...we were also kinda surprised the television did not work and, according to the staff, there really wasnt anything that could be done..our hope is it is fixed/replaced before the next family stays in KT01

This place is amazing on all levels! Very clean, great food, great family fun! Smash burgers at the canteen, beautiful barn for venues, amazing dinners at the Minors' Table which will be open for brunch on Mother's Day... also a beer garden near the pool and creek as well as an ice cream shop. There is no need to leave once you arrive. Golf cart rentals and carts are available as well.

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
