Everything was fantastic. Staff very helpful. The only downfall was that the clothes dryers did mot work well and the washing machines were an issue too. Great site. Over all and 5 star rated campground.

It was my first time camping in a cabin, rather than a tent, and it was fantastic! The only minor annoyance was house flies in the cabin, but everything was clean and the cabin was nice and cool.

There were great activities for the children and adults alike. The camp was very full. The weather was great. The ONLY complaint I have is that the bathrooms were always in terrible shape. Overflowing trash in a way too small can, dirty sinks, no papertowels, shower walls slimy. Why do they leave the outside doors open? There were always so many bugs in there.

The campground itself is meticulously kept. The amenities are ok. The garden area is great for listening to live music (if they don't cancel), getting ice cream (if they have any) and playing cornhole (if the one set of haphazard boards are available.) Tubing on the creek is a fantastic option but please watch for signs to stay right and exit. If you go too far, the water can be very choppy.

This is the nicest campground we have stayed in by far. We have been here a few times and have loved every minute of our visits. We are already looking forward to returning. There are many activities for those who want to do lots, and areas that are very peaceful, if that is your fancy. Everything is fresh and clean. I highly recommend.

Everything was good the room we stayed in could’ve been a little bit cleaner. There was a pair of nasty crocs under the bed, and the door in the floor were exactly clean. Other than that. It was a very nice time and our air conditioner filter was chuck full. I had to clean it off, but not a big deal. I would definitely come back

We really liked the evening activities in the garden. We did enjoy some ice cream and wanted to say that Ryan was terrific! He dealt very well with a constant long line. He was always smiling! Great guy!

This is our 4th annual trip to Herkimer. We had an absolute blast as usual! River rafting and the DJ dance party are among our favorite activities! Everyone we encounter is helpful and kind. Thank you so much!

We had an excellent time, unfortunately we arrived late and were up very early to mine, but we had SO much fun. The facilities were clean, staff was awesome and we will definitely be back! Camping was fantastic and the space was clean, maybe some bigger space number signs, it can be hard to see them at night! Other than that, perfect

This campground charges a resort fee which is pretty high for the bathrooms closest to our camp not have hot water. Trash doesn’t get emptied often. Staff is friendly but they can only work with what they are given. The property that the mine sits on, same owner, is in much better condition and well taken care of. If you have small children, they would enjoy the river, the pool is not heated.

We had a great time. Very family oriented. Fun activities for our grandkids, good food lots to do. Our solar cabin was very nice. Loved our porch, Surprised by the small refrigerator and no microwave but staff told us where we could use a microwave so that worked out. Just not as convenient however we discovered the food in the garden area and all was well. The upgrades you have made are beautiful

Stayed over night with our grandkids for something to do and they loved it! The glamping pocket for 4 was very clean and comfortable. We all loved the campsite view of the West Canada creek, and the activities for the kids were cute. The pool was great, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again!

We loved the campgrounds from the minute we arrived. The landscaping was so beautiful and the campgrounds were really well maintained. The staff was very friendly and down to earth. Lots of fun stuff to do there. I did not want to leave ! Hopefully will get back there before summer ends .

Had site 39 and it was perfect. Will be back again. The only down thing was how fast the workers were driving around in the Gulf carts and the one white truck ... Glad I didn't have any kids. But thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We stayed across the street in the mountainside area. Very quiet but very far walk to anything. Should offer a shuttle or a better way to get to the staircase (grass was knee high and hard to get through

I love coming to this campground! The area around this campground is beautiful. The folks that work in the office and store are great. My cabin was clean and everything ready for my stay.

My family has been coming here for over 40 years and we love it! However - the poison ivy NEEDS to be taken care of below cabins 77 & 78! - for as much as we pay, the cabins should be better taken care of & cleaned more - another playground would be nice, with a baby swing too - booking online is a pain when booking with a big group like we have. Please allow big groups to book in the store ag

Our stay was short but we made the most of it! The river floating was a blast. The kids loved all the different activities that were provided. Campsite is very clean and staff is friendly. We will definitely be back!

The glamping cabin was perfect for a couple’s getaway weekend. The ac was very much appreciated, as it was 90+ both days we were there. What a well kept campground. We’ll be back.

Although the place was nice, the bathrooms and shower area were very dirty. The shower water was only warm, and there was black mold in the showers. I love KOSs for their cleanliness, but this one was lacing.

The site I was on had electric issues. Luckily the neighboring site was empty and I was able to plug in to that site's electric. The employees at this park work hard and do a good job. For the large increase in fees over the last few years I would expect more improvements and updating to have been done to the original part of the park. Heating the pool for one.

Me and my friend took her 9 yr old grandson here this past weekend. We stayed in a cozy cabin K16. Fresh linens provided, very clean, rustic, cute. This particular one did not have a bathroom but it was very close. Pretty, well maintained site with playground. Staff is FABULOUS and Phil gave our car a jump start as we were trying to leave with a dead battery. Outside of bathroom big sinks with Dawn soap/hot water to wash dishes. All the cabins and sites are beautiful and we had the mohawk to wade in a stone's throw! The shops are beautiful and he had fun in the mines. Not 1 piece of garbage, anywhere. I highly recommend this beautiful place, especially with a family. U can be in the thick of things or more secluded! JUST GO and see this 'GEM' of Upstate, NY!

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.
