Stayed over night with our grandkids for something to do and they loved it! The glamping pocket for 4 was very clean and comfortable. We all loved the campsite view of the West Canada creek, and the activities for the kids were cute. The pool was great, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again!

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had at a campground! The staff were amazing! Very clean and the kids loved the activities and pool Can’t wait to go back!

We loved the campgrounds from the minute we arrived. The landscaping was so beautiful and the campgrounds were really well maintained. The staff was very friendly and down to earth. Lots of fun stuff to do there. I did not want to leave ! Hopefully will get back there before summer ends .

Had site 39 and it was perfect. Will be back again. The only down thing was how fast the workers were driving around in the Gulf carts and the one white truck ... Glad I didn't have any kids. But thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We stayed across the street in the mountainside area. Very quiet but very far walk to anything. Should offer a shuttle or a better way to get to the staircase (grass was knee high and hard to get through

I love coming to this campground! The area around this campground is beautiful. The folks that work in the office and store are great. My cabin was clean and everything ready for my stay.

My family has been coming here for over 40 years and we love it! However - the poison ivy NEEDS to be taken care of below cabins 77 & 78! - for as much as we pay, the cabins should be better taken care of & cleaned more - another playground would be nice, with a baby swing too - booking online is a pain when booking with a big group like we have. Please allow big groups to book in the store ag

Our stay was short but we made the most of it! The river floating was a blast. The kids loved all the different activities that were provided. Campsite is very clean and staff is friendly. We will definitely be back!

The glamping cabin was perfect for a couple’s getaway weekend. The ac was very much appreciated, as it was 90+ both days we were there. What a well kept campground. We’ll be back.

It was awesome. The only problem was there was a weird pile of insect eggs on top of the shower.

Although the place was nice, the bathrooms and shower area were very dirty. The shower water was only warm, and there was black mold in the showers. I love KOSs for their cleanliness, but this one was lacing.

The site I was on had electric issues. Luckily the neighboring site was empty and I was able to plug in to that site's electric. The employees at this park work hard and do a good job. For the large increase in fees over the last few years I would expect more improvements and updating to have been done to the original part of the park. Heating the pool for one.

great park,great stay. Only down side/ dislike is location of dump station ( on hill). really bad design and location. does not allow for full dump of gray water and sewer. congests the entry/exit of park.

I've been coming to KOA since 1969. At one point our family had 57 members camping there one time it was always during the 4th now that we get together it might be 15 we're still enjoy the river. My mother is 86 and my uncle is 91 this year was probably their last year of staying. Every year that we come we tell everyone how much fun we've had here over the years thank you again Herkimer KOA.

Awesome time! Enjoyed arts & crafts with Olivia. Thank you! Tubing down the creek was fun. Finding diamonds on the bank of the creek -a real bonus. Maintenance came & fixed the door into the bathroom, replaced lightbulbs. Very helpful. Bunk beds were comfy. Pull out couch - not so much. Maybe not like sleeping on a bed of nails, but close!� Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would return in a minute

Tent sites are too packed. Too close. With no buffers(bushes,trees) If you’re coming here to relax don’t do it. Great circus like environment for children most definitely. Plenty to do for kids! Not a place for singles or just couples. Staff were nice.

This was my 5th year to stay at KOA Herkimer for 4th of July with family and friends. Always a great time. Fun activities for the kids and the Tubing is always fun.

The KOA grounds are clean and well laid out. Our lodge was clean, comfortable and had a full kitchen which was very clean. We coordinated with extended family who stayed in their pop ups, tents, and lodges. We had so much fun during the week of July 4th! The dance party at the garden was fun. The kids enjoyed the t-shirt the dye event. It was fun to go tubing. The staff were friendly.

What an amazing campground. Grounds are well kept and lots to do. Such an amazing place for kids. I wish I knew of a place like this when my kids were younger!! Main area of campground is hopping with lots going on. Food, drinks, music, games, the river is also fun and refreshing. We stayed on the new mountainside area which is serene, beautiful and private. Great walking/hiking spaces.

We were happy with your entertainment this year. I think the waterslide is definitely a better idea than the bounce house. I would like to see the portable tank emptier available again. That was a service that was exceptional to the campers not in full hookup if staying for an extended period of time. I def think you would benefit from offering this service and advertising it as such. Thanks.

We stayed in cabin k16 and the cleaning station behind the restroom near us has extremely hot water. You should have a sign that states it's VERY HOT so children will not scalt their hands..yes, it's that Hot...Other than that our stay was great

Our cabin SL2, when we arrived had sand and dirt in all the corners, it looked clean but to the touch it was dirty; space for a microwave but it wasn't there; space for a larger fridge but it was small; hook up for a TV in the bedroom, but no TV; blinds on the doors didn't work; the sheets were stained; remotes needed batteries; no nice wine glasses; HORRIBLE MATTRESSES Beautiful outdoors

Our first stay at a KOA so we don’t have another KOA to compare it to but it was a very nice campground. We loved their garden area, very inviting and comfortable!

this is a very nice KOA, however I'm giving it a 2 in hopes of the management resolving an issue I had. We arrived on July 4th, the campground was packed, Kids and cars everywhere. However when you are driving a 45 foot motorhome pulling a car a crowded poorly signed campground is trouble. They need more signage and should escort you. it was dangerous. Others said same.

Stayed 4th of July weekend on the new mountainside rv spots. They were very nice lots, however the sewer was a little high on our specific space but we made it work. Took a walk down around the original camping area on the river. Far too busy and crowded down there. Very happy we did the mountainside camping where you are spread out more and it was peaceful.

It was beautifully maintained, the diamond mining will be forever cherished memories for my family, tubing was so much fun! It's more expensive than other campgrounds but that's because you're paying for a lot more- destination vacation. One big complaint- the bathroom nearest to us showers were closed for most of our stay and that was infuriating for the price of the stay.

The stay was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The only issue we had was the repair of the womens showers being done at the most inconvenient times. We had to walk all the way to the front of the campground to use the bathroom and shower. There was no times of the repairs posted.

We had a really nice stay!! I really liked the fact that all their prices were reasonable as far as food and firewood. They also had fun activities and a really nice outdoor lounge area.

Every KOA employee that we encountered was very friendly and extremely helpful and informative. The property was clean and very well maintained. The campsite itself was perfect for us; level, quiet, and shady. I would highly recommend this campground for single campers, couples, or families. Next time, I'll reserve in advance and stay in a cabin. Or better yet, the treehouse!

I received your message and am really disappointed in koa. Our family has held a reunion in Herkimer for over 15 years, bringing 70-80 cousins together making countless memories. It now includes four generations.I found it necessary to cancel some reservations due to family reasons. I was told I would be charged $25 each. Customer service is the key to successful business operations, this is an extremely poor example of that skill. The amount of $25 for each reservation cancellation adds onto an already large amount of money I spend there .Koa would not miss this amount, in my financial life, it matters. It also says a lot about koa and their lack of appreciation for loyal customers

The entire experience was amazing. The cabin was clean. They provided everything needed from dishes and pans to towels and shampoo. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. The mine was a great found some great crystals. Will definitely be back!
