The cleanest campground I've stayed at with the friendliest owners! The firewood drop-off service right to our campsite was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back, next time with friends!

Everything was nice and clean. The boat dock and peddle boats looked uncared for, old, and unused. I would either update them or remove them.

Great accommodations & always a fun time for the whole family. The new water wars was super fun! The kids loved the geologist talk very much (very informative). The DJ was fun too.

By far the cleanest, most organized koa’s we’ve been too. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they were very clear on the campground’s rules as well as amenities and activities around the campground.

KOAs have always been our favorites. I will say these sites were very very close together, no grass for a tent site, and kids riding their bikes over a hill technically I’m between our site and the next one but really only 2 feet away from me sitting at my campfire.

The work that has been done here since the last time I stayed is amazing! The tighter restrictions are actually very refreshing, as our stay was super peaceful and relaxing. Keep up the amazing work and we will definitely be staying here again! You guys are awesome!

Our recent stay was absolutely wonderful! My family enjoyed the pool and fishing, along with a live animal show from Jungle Terry and evening outdoor movies. It was safe and easy for the kids to ride bikes and walk around the grounds to the playground area without worry. As parents we were able to relax and the hosts were very friendly. I would highly recommend this KOA!

We have camped at the KOA for several years but the experience this year with the new owner was very frustrating. She went to our site past 11pm and started yelling at us telling us to shut up and not to say a peep or she will have the police escort us out. She accused me of drinking all day (which was false) and said she's tired of dealing with drunk people. I will never return

We tent camped for the weekend. The bathrooms were in close proximity. The site itself was smaller than I imagined but it was enough for a small 4 man tent. Nice, quiet campground.

The male owner was great after much negotiation. He has a good heart. Sad to see the Teepees gone, the paddle boats gone, and the limit for no more than one tent on site. Every state park allows this. I appreciate the owners help, but will not be returning. We had GREAT TIME LAST YEAR. This year, not so much. Heading back to private parks.

We loved our stay at Erie KOA! The campground was very clean, bathrooms were up to date and well tended to. The amenities were excellent and again well taken care of. The new Water Wars was a blast and we very much enjoyed the heated pool. Our site was nice a little snug to other campsites but overall no complaints. Trash pickup, firewood delivery, and no parties until the wee hours of night!

The staff were all wonderful! Although they were short-staffed, the facilities were clean and open, the staff was always available and met our needs promptly, and the layout of the KOA was perfect. It was quiet and friendly. My grandkids want to come again next year.

The outdoor pool was nice. Unfortunately the bathroom facility in the rear of the campground was dirty. The floors were it clean. The toilet was dirty on the base, the back of the seat. This was not recent but long time neglect & lack of cleaning. The showers had poor ventilation & fan had no power to move the hot air out of the small space. Made to save money

Rude employees. Was told by an employee that was standing outside our tent we were talking too loud during quiet hours. Apologized, but she kept up a rant louder than us saying "if we didn't like it check out was in the morning" She must've not had the same rules for mornings as we were woken at 6am by our neighbors. Also had people constantly walking through our site to get to lake. Dissatisfied.

Loved the camp site since we weren't stuck out in the sun. Restrooms were clean and the staff friendly. My kids loved the game room and all of the arcade games worked. We will be coming back.

To be honest, this is my 14th KOA stay while on this trip. It is hard to remember what each one was like. I know that I had difficulty following the signs. I had to pull over and dig out my KOA book to read the directions. The store closed too early as I arrive around 5 and only have an hour to get what I need before they close. All of the grounds were very well kept. Facilities were always clean and stocked. For as many of sites were filled up there was never a line for restrooms or showers. Staff was very friendly and would ask if their was anything they could do to help. Every day there was trash pick up and lets not forget about the fire wood delivery. We had a group of 4 families and had a great camping trip. We were very skeptical given the reviews and almost canceled but so glad we didn’t. The owners were all very nice and helpful. Regarding “quiet time”, you are made aware at checkin that they take it very seriously. That said, we were at our fires well after 11:00pm all 3 nights with no issues. As long as you were quiet, it was fine!

Our stay was amazing. Do not let the reviews fool you. As long as you are a normal person that can speak at a normal tone after 11 they don’t bother you. Sharon even thanked myself and my fiancée for showing you can talk at a normal tone after 11. PLEASE DONT GO BY BAD REVIEWS. Sharon is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be.

Our stay was beautiful. Everyone was so nice and friendly. My grandkids had a great time as well from fishing and swimming and playing at the arcade. When my granddaughter wrecked her bike Jamie made sure she got to our site to make sure she was alright.

Enjoyed the movie, loved the location of the campground & our site was great, nice & shady. Bathrooms were clean, water was hot; unfortunately they did not control the weather as we were rained out the 2nd night. The arcade & laundry were welcomed to dry our things and entertain us. Quiet, family atmosphere, perfect for us. I don't understand all the negatives. Not for you If you want to party.

Horrible. Disrespected by camp owners. Talked to horribly and yelled at in front of my kids by camp owners. They insulted my parenting. Kicked us out a day early and threatened with state police and this is all for talking above a whisper at the fire at 1130 and Sharon only knew that bc she HIDES AND LURKES behind the trees!!!! These people are racist and psychotic!!!!!!

Had a very nice time. Campground is kept very neat and you can tell the owners take pride in what they have there. Understanding they are short staffed I forgave when the bathrooms were not attended to like I thought they should be. Their store hours are limited and again I understand but also not helpful when you might have needed something quickly. But we will stay there again!

DO NOT STAY here! will never go to this KOA again until these owners are gone...stayed two nights and were screamed by a raging lunatic who emerged from the bushes out of no where and started threatening to call the police because we were sitting by the campfire talking quietly at 1130 pm. multiple other campers screamed at the same nights..unsafe environment for your family..very traumatized.

We checked out the morning after we arrived, even though we had a two night stay planned. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, would not go in them. And the disrespect we received from being yelled at for two straight minutes by the female owner for simply laughing in our tent with our children was appalling. A simple “please quiet down” would’ve been acceptable. Will never return!

I stayed two nights. The tent site was roomy and pleasant. The bath facilities were modern and clean. The campground itself was lovely and very well maintained.

My kids loved staying here. We stayed in a campsite with no hookups and a tent. It was close to the bathrooms, which my son pointed out were very clean. They loved the pool, playground, and movie nights. They loved the atmosphere and the staff was very nice! We definitely plan on coming back, because our experience was great!

We have stayed at this location multiple times and have never had a bad experience. If there is an issue with a cabin or camp site they get it taken care of right away. We typically have a few cabins and a camper site when we stay since it is a family vacation. They are super accommodating and so nice. The grounds are very well maintained and nice. The fishing lake is amazing! It is very large and very well stocked. The pool is not huge but is nice and well maintained. The activities at the pavillion are fun. Well kept grounds, nice spots, clean cabins and friendly staff. You can't go wrong.

Two great visits here this summer. Great pool, nice sites, Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire talking and enjoying a milky way sky! Will keep coming. We had several good nights enjoying campfires under the stars well past midnight even at locations close to the owner's residence. We have never had issues with the owners or staff. On our last visit, an unplanned emergency visit to Erie, they made special accommodations for us that were helpful. Most of the bad reviews are from covid campers that took to camping when nothing else was open during the pandemic. They are generally rude and self centered, not long time campers. If you read many of these reviews the words are exactly the same and pretty unbelieavble as well as having been posted by brand new profiles on almost every social platform - Can you say vendetta? The only improvements I would suggest is more chairs around the nice pool, and lose the faucets on the bathroom sinks that you have to hold on to get water. We will be back in 2023.
