Daily visitor charge is out of line. Our daughter stationed here came each day to see us for dinner. We felt the charge was excessive! A one time charge would be reasonable.

We were at our last stop heading for upstate NY after being west. We only stayed one day wish we could have stayed longer. The staff and owners were great,friendly. Everything about this KOA was fun including the huge bass I had caught in there catch and release pond. Thank You Hug Family

This is our “home” KOA and we love it! We camp here more than any other place. It’s family friendly, the kids have caught a lot of fish from the pond. We really like that they enforce quite hours! 11pm is very reasonable for this and is great for families.

The handyman running around Friday and Saturday was really friendly and extremely helpful. The campground and facilities were very clean and well maintained. It always a pleasure to bring camp at the Erie KOA

Traveling through - needed a one night pull-through site for a 27' travel trailer. Easy access off the I-90, clean facility, sites fairly distanced compared to other KOAs we've stayed at, variety of site options to choose from (some with very elaborate with patios and grills, several cabins options, pool, well maintained grounds with beautiful landscaped flower gardens. Would stay here again.

Very clean, neat, and well maintained. Lots of things for family and kids. Pool, lake, movies, Jungle Jim, Etc. Store and office hours were limited. A few times we went, they were closed. Store women weren't very friendly. Sites are very narrow. Fire rings real close to trailer and pull vehicles. We were afraid to have a fire for fear of damaging vehicles and RV's

Before arriving, the owner worked with us as first-time camper owners to get the perfect site. Upon arrival, gave a warm welcoming and offered help in set up. Clean, fun environment with well-maintained property, friendly people and so much to do in the area. Already planning to return next year!

worst camping trip ever. owners very rude and threatening. stalked us and provoked us until confrontation occurred even after the problem was resolved that they had with us. our grandchildren age 7 and 4 were terrified of the owners. cried and made us lock our trailer door at night because they were afraid the owner would come back and enter our trailer. they are crazy!!!!!

Owners were very nice and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Campground was clean and well kept. We intend to return in the future.

No issues. The full hook-up with cable all functioned well. Not their fault, no staff for pancake breakfast or ice cream social. We missed the goats. Pool was warm at 82 degrees. Owners working all the time, friendly, I am sure it is tough running a busy large campground with small staff. We enjoyed our stay

The lady that runs the KOA is very rude. Not a kid or family friendly campground anymore. Very sad because it was before.

Very helpful and friendly staff, even though they were understaffed! The camp store was so well organized and had everything we needed. The kids played for hours in the playground. We had a great stay, and we'll have wonderful memories of Waldameer and Presque Isle for a long time!

We stayed for a week, very nice campground, with a country feel. The staff works hard to make it nice. The campground is clean and great for families. Close to other places to visit in Erie.

Overall nice campground. The bathhouse could use some extra attention. And a basketball court would be a nice addition for the older kids. Lots to do for younger kids. Friendly staff. Nice camp store.

Overall happy with our stay. Ony complaint would be the fact the store closes in the middle of the day when we wanted to rent the bikes.

Jamie was rude and petty and even lied to me on the phone. He should not deal with the public. Fortunately the person who checked us in was helpful & friendly. Campground sites were pretty close, but worked and were clean and adequately quiet. New Water Wars playground was enjoyed by the kids. Pool opens late and closes early so we barely got a chance to use it since we spent our days elsewhere.

I find the hosts to be inflexible and not friendly. My sister rented a cabin so that she could camp with us. When she learned that she needed an emergency eye procedure during her reserved days, she was told that her reservations couldn't be modified even though the cabin was available. Thus, she had to pay for four days and only stayed for two days. Those of us on 3 sites will not be returning.

The owners obviously take pride in their campground. It was meticulously clean. It was quiet like a state park but had the amenities one expects at a KOA. Only suggestion - more signage as you approach from Route 79.

Owner were very helpful, went above and beyond to provide activities for families (especially kids). The grounds were very nice, level spots and the bathrooms were clean. just a heads up... Quiet hours are later (11pm) but are really when you need to go inside your camper. If you have a dog that needs a buffer zone I would request a site backed up to the pond. Pull through are tight for dogs

We tented for three nights with power/water. Very nice quiet campground, except for some road noise at night. While not grade A the showers and toilets were more than adequate. Plenty to do for kids. Jamie and his wife, the owners, were so pleasant and helpful. Very pleased with everything. I recommend, esp for kids - lots to do at this site. Short hop to Presque Isle. No complaints at all.

This might be the best KOA of all! I have been a KOA member on and off for almost 15 years, this is my 4th RV and have been to all 50 states and really appreciated the peaceful nature of place and the people.

It was horrible a few of the employees were rude and disrespectful. The guest policy is ridiculous and they don’t accommodate their guest needs. After I left I read the negative google reviews and they were accurate.

Clean, well kept, activities for kids, pool well kept, enforce quiet hours. Close proximity to Presque Isle, water park and amusement park. Owners go to great lengths in make ones stay enjoyable.

We just spent one night at this quaint KOA. It's our last overnight stop on our way back to Canada from FL. This KOA is a bit smaller than others but we love the quietness of it. There are plenty of things to do while staying there. Great place for families. There are several sites and a whole upgraded section of sites which I believe were 30 Amp. We required a long site for our 45' Motorcoach and the site we were given was amply long enough to keep our tow vehicle attached which is a huge bonus if you're just staying overnight. Unfortunately we had a bit of trouble making the turn into our spot and damaged the grass a little in the process, but Jerry (the Manager) was stellar at making sure all was well. Thankyou Jerry. Have a great season.

We had the best experience at this KOA. We were actually upgraded as there had been so much rain- they wanted us to have a dry spot. It was quiet- well kept and in a great location. Host was very friendly. We will come back!

First off, this campground was opened early for the Total Eclipse event. We were handed a thoughtful gift bag of eclipse related items. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We were in space #27, a graveled area fitting our 35-foot fifth wheel truck, Our campsite was surrounded by families with pets who were all so friendly. A huge "THANK YOU" to the owners and staff for making our camping experience amazing!! The hard work put into making sure us campers had what we needed was much appreciated.
