Staff was very friendly, always saying hi when they saw you. Laundry and game room were both clean and comfortable. Sites were roomy and level. Lots of things for your kids to enjoy.

Couple purchased campground approximately 4 years ago. Very friendly and super helpful during our stay. Campground is spotless and impeccably kept. They are in the process of several improvements that will be terrific. It's a must stay in our books and we will definitely plan our trip to stop there next time we're headed their way.

Tent camped. We were out at an awesome site with a nice new gravel pad. There didn’t seem to be many tent sites and most were small and in a field. We lucked out. All staff was kinda. We never ran into the infamous owners we heard were mean. Game room cost money for all and my kids said the games didn’t work and just stole quarters. But loved the grounds and pool! Lots to do in the area!

The problem wasn't with the KOA itself but rather the owners. From the moment we arrived we were met with an unfriendly vibe and confrontation. The owners have no people skills and talk down to their clients. We were habitually harassed during our stay and scolded like little kids. The campground itself was clean and well manicured. It was solely the authoritarian owners that ruined our weekend.

The cabins are beginning to wear out. The air conditioners leaked and blew humid air our entire stay. Maintenence vacuumed a little water out of the drain and said there was nothing else they could do. There was an animal either under the cabin or inside the wall making noise much of the night. Fire wood is the other issue. It is a shame the owners price gouge their own guests. May not be back.

Owners were very helpful and easy to talk with. The laundry room was nice as was the game room. The site was very long and was level. The location was easy to get in and out of and the types of sites was nice. If we are ever in the area again we will stay here.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Erie KOA. The only downfall were the incredible amount of flies. We could not even eat outside because of them. We ended up buying a fly trap and caught thousands of them!! Pool was small but nice and all the facilities were very well maintained. We will be back.

We came to the area to meet new friends. Campground was well kept. We had some trouble with some noise. Owners were great. Made it right. Great people! We don't stay at KOAs often, as they are quite nice, they have amenities we just don't use. But, this one was very nice.

The tent-only “sites” are extremely small and my assigned site was a gravel patch with no grass or soft ground to place my tent. This combined with the fact that they don’t allow for the use of hammocks made for a very uncomfortable stay for me. Not a good camping experience, I won’t be back to this location.

The camp ground was nice and facilities were clean. What stood out the most was the kindness of the entire staff and them going above and beyond to make sure your stay was pleasant.

The owners run the place like it is a police state. It is not just quiet time after 11. People are expected to be inside their cabins. They make up stories about having to use only their supplied wood. The staff seemed like they genuinely cared.

Erie KOA is a fantastic place to stay. We enjoy conversing with the owners and especially talking to Denny. He delivers the firewood and always is pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend staying at the Erie KOA campground!

This location is perfect for our reason to stay. The staff has been always nice, kind and helpful. The add of the "choose your site" is much appreciated. Very good amenties, super clean facilities and overall, very well maintained.

There is a ton of stuff to do in Erie and staying at this campground was close enough to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was very nice. Amenities were great. My only complaint is that no outside firewood and the price to purchase firewood is $1.00 per log. Give more logs for fire or allow outside wood. I would stay there again in the future.

It is sad you go to relax and the owner is screaming at your neighbors for sitting around their own fire . You not allowed to bring wood but you are made to buy the wood from there which cost a small fortune. You were almost afraid to leave your camper in fear that the owners wife would threaten to call the cops on you for doing what your supposed to while camping. Also a extra $35 to park a car

One star is being far too kind, but zero stars isn’t an option. I could literally copy and paste the DAILY reviews from people recounting their terrible experiences with owners Sharon and Jamie. Read the Google reviews that offer much more room to share the horrible experience so many people have had since this website so conveniently limits people’s ability to warn others. DO NOT CAMP HERE!!

Nice clean and warm pool. Kid movies every night in a great pavilion. Game room with a juke box for when it rains. Friendly and responsive owners. Well stocked store. Plenty of gravel at the sites and grass. Lots of shade spots for smaller campers and tents. Private bathrooms in the woods. Water wars where the jumping pillow used to be, Wish they could find a new spot for the jumpers.

We had a beautiful and very clean campsite. We also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere with the KOA employees. The only thing we would have liked to be different would have been a bigger pool and more chairs at the pool otherwise our stay was amazing. We are going to return next year for sure!!!

Sharon, if your reading this you should be ashamed of yourself. You are mentally unstable and a liability to everyone you interact with. If you insist on owning a campground you need to stay away from the business and let others run it unless you want to go bankrupt. Your continual harassment and abuse to others with catch up with you. I hope you fail miserably and learn how to treat people.

This place is just not worth it. The owners are extremely rude and instigate fights. They way they talk to you is completely unprofessional and just down right mean. Did not enjoy our stay here and will not be back.

The owners were aggressive and rude. For a place that should've been packed for a holiday weekend they weren't, and after dealing with the owners it was easy to see why. We were all anxiously walking around on eggshells to avoid the wrath of Sharon. She turns into a monster at night seeking out prey. We will never return.

First time staying at a KOA. Really enjoyed it! Beautiful property. Owners were very nice to talk with. My sons enjoyed fishing in the pond, swimming in the pool, and the old-school arcade. I was glad for the laundry facilities. The owners put a lot of heart and soul into this place.

Campground is nice and many improvements are being made. I believe it was the owners came to my site at 11.30pm and claimed we were being to loud . We had no radio on and were within 5 feet of each other just talking. They were extremely rude about it saying “you should say your sorry and go in your camper like the people around you “. Kept threatening to kick us out in the morning.

The Owners were extremely rude to our group. They would drive around after 11 and instigate campers who were quietly enjoying themselves. Instead of enjoying ourselves camping, were on eggshells the entire time. The amenities were nice, but it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with such difficult people.

The camp itself is very nice. The owners are unbelievable. I now believe I have it figured out. They tell people to leave due to unbelievable reasons, sometimes because of a simple question , seriously.Sharon one of the owners made it very clear to me that the cabin and tent campers are not liked because according to her they always cause problems. They tell you to leave they keep your money ..

We will NEVER be back to Erie KOA again. Me and my family were screamed at including my 8year old son. I have never been more disrespected more in my life. This also happened to multiple families that were there during our stay. The owner Sharon is very rude unprofessional and she should not be working in customer service.

We will never go back to this KOA. The owners were very rude and disrespectful to our kids and friends. The owner Sharon was yelling and threatening to call the cops at my friend's autistic child who was visibly shaking out of fear and Sharon's husband called the next day and his response to her being upset was "Well, maybe that’s why you should have had her inside then.” Read that again.

The campground itself and the facilities are actually very nice. But the rules are enforced to the letter at all times and that made it feel at times like a prison camp. Owners stalked campers at night to enforce "quiet time" which should be called "curfew". Friends were verbally accosted in front of their children. Very uncomfortable. Won't be back. It is a shame.

The staff was rude and ignorant. The quiet time was unreal. You could not stay up. They wanted you to go to bed before 11. They wanted you to go to bed. And I would never do it again never never. I would never do it again, nesir.

We had the best experience at this KOA. We were actually upgraded as there had been so much rain- they wanted us to have a dry spot. It was quiet- well kept and in a great location. Host was very friendly. We will come back!

First off, this campground was opened early for the Total Eclipse event. We were handed a thoughtful gift bag of eclipse related items. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We were in space #27, a graveled area fitting our 35-foot fifth wheel truck, Our campsite was surrounded by families with pets who were all so friendly. A huge "THANK YOU" to the owners and staff for making our camping experience amazing!! The hard work put into making sure us campers had what we needed was much appreciated.

I am not the best person when it comes to writing reviews - I tend to forget to do it- but I felt compelled to write one this time. We had an amazing time at this KoA for the eclipse, and we were very happy with the accommodations they provided. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly clean and far more convenient than we expected. The beds were comfortable, we had access to a grill, propane stove, etc which we absolutely loved using; and the grounds were very well kept. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They even gave out gift bags for the eclipse party, including eclipse glasses. The firewood was dry and burned easily in the fire pit, and they delivered it very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again, and; think we will the next time we want to go visit lake Erie!
