Staff was extremely friendly, grounds were very well kept and very clean, I would recommend to anyone, upgrades being made to sites that will be an even better camp ground.

Loved the campground. Sites were very nice, loved having grass. The fishing was fun for everyone. Only complaint was having to pay for extra because there were 3 adults in my part of 4, my adult children and for an extra vehicle since 2 came separately. in a different car. I think the guest and car fees were a little high. Either by person or car would seem sufficient

This KOA is under new ownership and is no longer a family friendly and fun place to stay. Owner Sharon runs the place like a prison camp and wanders around the campground throwing temper tantrums for any reasons. She sits around in her gulf cart and stares you. She has horrible customer service skills and if you ask questions she screams at you and tells you to learn to read its in the rules...

Erie is expanding and changing. The host were hard at work when we came in, but came and check on us as we were setting up. Very nice people and i look forward to see the park when it's finished.

Beautiful peaceful park. Pool was warm and sparkling.. bathrooms were spotless and the laundry room/game room was very clean. I highly recommend this park !

Horrifying owners, Sharron will hide in bushes to scare people and call cops on them. NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION! NOT KID FRIENDLY NOT PET FRIENDLY!

I have been camping for years, and years. I have even camped at this campground in the past under old management. The way that the new owners treat people is disrespectful to say the least. Sharon especially does not have the KOA experience in mind as she is interacting with campers. I agree with many of the yelp reviews that she is rude and disrespectful.

The owners are adding new sites and updating sites in the woods. Lots of items in the store. New things are being added for the kids to play on/with. My dog got out of her fenced area and the owner found her & called me! I recommend this campground!

Lots of construction makes for tons of dust. Firewood rules are beyond state restrictions. Quiet hours too aggressively enforced. Frog pond empty. While we had a good stay overall, definitely concerned on the direction of this location.

I’m saddened to say we will not be back until there are different owners. While we were not personally harassed by the owners I witnessed them harass multiple campers over this past weekend and the last 2 seasons of camping there as well. Their utter disrespectful behavior brings too stressful of an experience to return. We have been camping at this KOA for a decade. We love every other KOA.

The campground and was nice but the management needs improvement. Do not bring outside firewood in. And don’t dare talk after quite time. I was kicked out on our first night of a 3 night cabin rental. After being yelled at for talking after quite hrs and having my camp searched for outside firewood I was told I had to leave first thing in the morning. No discussion, no refund, nothing. $200 loss

It was very nice as always, we have stayed here 7 to 8 times. The PLUS this time was the cabin faced the pond not the road.

Campground for short stay- I think there 7 day cancellations needs to be a bulletin alert when booking. Many of us traveling through to a destination don’t always have control of circumstance in which we make reservations within that 7 day window- or the need to move arrival or departure dates and being charged that total $$$

Very friendly staff, clean facilities, the shop was super convenient and had everything you could possibly forget to bring. Has a lot of activities and fun things for everyone.

We love the Erie Koa and have been coming here every year. Love the new owners. This weekend a few people got thrown out, but there are rules there for the benefit of everyone. So if you read any bad reviews from Memorial Day, know that it is probably from those people. Marcia

Great place to stay. Sue in the office is kind and helpful. Owners lovely. Can see the huge amount of improvements they are working on. Sites are nice now and new sites look wonderful. Store has all you need. Pool is beautiful. 10/10… will be back.

Everything was very nice. Even under construction it was easy to get around and no real issues were noted. The only frustrating issue was the wood restriction. I am sure this is KOA wide, but very inconvenient. We cook over our fire and the wood, although "kiln dried" was oozing, and our friends wood had mold on it, and the straps and staples are difficult to remove. But understand the policy.

The amount of dust as the construction is happening was awful... My son's asthma was triggered hard. Would definitely not stayed there had I known. Other than that, very nice campground and friendly staff.

If we wanted to be micro managed would have stayed at work. So petty about everything. Couldn't have another koa patron park at our camper for dinner. Had to move vehicle. They ride around on golf carts like militia.

Nice park, however the attitude of the owner is horrible. Very petty about stupid things. Also, no planned activities as there is no staff(according to the staff there, that is because the owner is horrible to work for). Has potential, but needs new management/ownership. Won't be back.

The owners are very rude and disrespectful to guests. Paid way too much to only have everything that was supposed to be there be canceled due to "staffing issues" on a holiday weekend. Never once saw any of the bathrooms cleaned or attended to. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The worst experience of our camping lives. We went to visit friends only to be harassed via voice mail and email by the manager (Sharon) numerous times re our dog barking. (She's 14yrs old). This Sharon was knocking at our rv door to irritate her. We came back & Sharon was in my husband's and I face with a lantern. (Note--- Our rv was silent. Not a peep from our elderly dog) Absolutely horrific!

The owner Sharon made us feel welcomed. She also provides excellent customer service. We are looking forward to our next stay. All the facilities and amenities were clean. Would recommend to friends and family.

The new owners are great! Super nice campground; they are putting some more sites in, so while we were there, during the day it was pretty busy with equipment running, but all was good… they needed to get it done, so more can go and enjoy! Only 9 miles from Presque Isle State Park… very cool area!

I enjoyed my stay at the campground. They were very accommodating to myself, family members, and animals. They are doing some nice upgrades. Hopefully I will be able to come back and see them. The only negative thing was there was a lot of mowing but understand they were short of help. Jamie and Dennis were very helpful with pretty much anything I needed. Hope they will have us back.

Everything was just great, from easy check in to wonderfully nice staff (owners). The park looks clean and beautiful, its under construction now but i bet it will be absolutely amazing once finished.

The campground is clean and well kept. There was some construction going on during our stay but did not bother us. The owners are expanding and improving the park. The owners are great and always working on the park and are readily available when necessary. Overall it was a great stay and we are looking forward to the improvements and additional sites.

They are currently in the process of a renovation and when it’s completed I believe it will justify a 5 rating. The staff was very friendly and helped me out with a reference to get a tire repaired on short notice. I would stay again if in area.

Excellent facility that is well maintained and getting better each visit. The owner is passionate about ensuring guest are satisfied and well taken care of. Highly recommend this camp ground and to be honest, it's the best and nicest KOA we've visited and in the last two years there were certainly a handful. Keep up the good work! We will be back.y brother stayed as well and they loved it.

Co-owner Sharon, cannot exhibit self control under pressure. During an incident involving guests attempting to visit, she allowed her emotions to overcome her sensibilities and she shouted and screamed in public as well as banging on something. She literally displayed a public temper tantrum. We were so unnerved, we forfeited 2 nights of our stay. A formal complaint to corporate is pending.

We had the best experience at this KOA. We were actually upgraded as there had been so much rain- they wanted us to have a dry spot. It was quiet- well kept and in a great location. Host was very friendly. We will come back!

First off, this campground was opened early for the Total Eclipse event. We were handed a thoughtful gift bag of eclipse related items. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We were in space #27, a graveled area fitting our 35-foot fifth wheel truck, Our campsite was surrounded by families with pets who were all so friendly. A huge "THANK YOU" to the owners and staff for making our camping experience amazing!! The hard work put into making sure us campers had what we needed was much appreciated.

I am not the best person when it comes to writing reviews - I tend to forget to do it- but I felt compelled to write one this time. We had an amazing time at this KoA for the eclipse, and we were very happy with the accommodations they provided. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly clean and far more convenient than we expected. The beds were comfortable, we had access to a grill, propane stove, etc which we absolutely loved using; and the grounds were very well kept. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They even gave out gift bags for the eclipse party, including eclipse glasses. The firewood was dry and burned easily in the fire pit, and they delivered it very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again, and; think we will the next time we want to go visit lake Erie!
