Whether you’re planning a summer road trip, a cozy fall getaway, or looking ahead to next year’s adventures, KOA campgrounds across North America are ready to help you make the most of your time outdoors. From unplugging by the lake to finding a new favorite campground, there’s always something new to explore. 

We’ve got some exciting news for all you campers as a growing list of new KOA campgrounds have officially joined the system in 2025. Each one brings something special to the table and we’re excited for you to get to know them as you travel. Canada Campgrounds

Edmonton / Leduc KOA Journey – Leduc, Alberta

Located just outside Alberta’s capital city, the Edmonton/Leduc KOA Journey is a convenient stop for travelers heading to Jasper National Park or exploring the attractions of Edmonton. With over 50 parks and natural areas, Leduc offers a ton of outdoor activities and community spaces for everyone. From playgrounds to trails and sports facilities, there are even two beautiful golf courses in the heart of the city. Campers can enjoy easy pull-thru RV sites, clean amenities, and have a great overnight stop or weekend retreat.

Moose Jaw KOA Journey – Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

This Canadian KOA in Saskatchewan makes a great stop for travelers exploring the Trans-Canada Highway. Convenient and family-friendly, it’s just a two minute walk to the city’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. The campground itself offers a man-made pond, strolls along the walking paths, mini golf for the family, and everything you need for a hassle-free stay. Bonus: they’re located right across the street from “Mac the Moose”, the world’s tallest moose, a must-see roadside landmark!

Truro / Tidal Bore KOA Holiday – Glenholme, Nova Scotia

Set along the Debert River, this KOA is just steps away from front-row views of the famous Bay of Fundy’s tidal bore, a rare and powerful natural phenomenon where ocean tides push upriver in a dramatic wave. With a heated swimming pool and a fun pirate ship playground for the kids, campers can enjoy an on-site convenience store, comfortable cabins, RV sites, and great views.

Alpine / Bridger Teton National Forest KOA Holiday – Etna, Wyoming

This family-owned campground is nestled in the heart of Wyoming’s Star Valley. Surrounded by mountain views, it offers guests easy access to top attractions like Bridger-Teton National Forest, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and Jackson Hole. The campground features spacious RV sites, free Wi-Fi, and plans for future expansion, including indoor pickleball courts and a restaurant.

Decatur / Wheeler Lake KOA Holiday – Hillsboro, Alabama

Back and better than ever, the Decatur/Wheeler Lake KOA Holiday has rejoined the KOA Family, bringing with it lake views and a front-row seat to one of Alabama’s most scenic spots. Set on a peninsula surrounded by Wheeler Lake, this campground offers private beach access, a boat ramp, zip lines, horseback riding, and even a seasonal outdoor movie theater. Even better! The property is getting a refresh, including the debut of the new Wheeler Lake Palooza music festival this summer.

Morgantown / Mylan Park KOA Holiday – Morgantown, West Virginia

Tucked in the hills of northern West Virginia, Morgantown/Mylan Park KOA Holiday offers peaceful surroundings just minutes from downtown Morgantown and West Virginia University. Ideal for game day weekends or outdoor getaways, this campground features well-spaced sites, family-friendly activities, and close proximity to hiking, paddling, and Appalachian charm. 

Muskegon KOA Holiday – Muskegon, Michigan
