I stayed at a tent site, it was very quiet, right in the corner by the bath house which was a plus. My dogs enjoyed the stay as well. I will be coming back in the summer and I will be getting a site with water and electricity. My stay was overall great. The people were nice as well as the staff.

The bathroom/shower facility in the tent camping area was not cleaned during my stay. A toilet was clogged for the entire 2 days.

It's a very nice KOA. The pool (weather was still too cold to use) is beautiful. My tent site was great--close to the restrooms. The only things I did not like were the sinks in the restrooms and the TP dispenser. To turn on the water at the sink, you had to push down the knob and a blast of cold water came out for 10 seconds. Bummer. The TP dispenser was so low to the floor and hard to reach.

Bathrooms were filthy and NOT heated as advertised. Water was barely warm enough for a shower. Only 4 shower/ toilet combos open for a fairly crowded camping area. It was ridiculous! Stayed there at Christmas last year and pipes froze. Staff was rude at that time. Emailed owner and he NEVER responded!

It was a nice stay however some camping guests came in around 1am and made so much noise by slamming cars doors, beeping horns, yelling to one another, rattling ice into numerous coolers, the list goes on. This went on past 3am. I understand KOA allows check times to vary but to me there should be some limit on how this is done.

We had a great stay however the late checking in of other people after quiet hours was a little upsetting and woke the family up as they tried to set up there side loud talking doors slamming arguing it was loud but other then that is was good

Great experience overall. I can see why KOA is a popular choice, especially if other locations boast similar amenities (heated pools, game area, playground, etc).

It was a very nice stay at the camp ground. It was our first time there. Kids loved it!!!

The staff were unfriendly, everything that we asked they answered rudely. My husband broke his arm on the way to the campground and on the day that we had to check out we were 15 minutes past the time and the staff approached us and was very rude to tell us to leave. Considering that my husband had a broken arm and it was raining, we were packing as fast as possible.

We have stayed at the KOA holiday in Va Beach several times, and always enjoyed ourselves. The new pool and lazy river are a great luxury to enjoy with family. This past weekend was not as pleasant due to a group of other campers one site down from us. Kept us up til 4am, drinking laughing and yelling. After complaints next day, they were made to leave but was not as peaceful to say the least.

Every year we spend time at KOA VB, we love to camp , the only bad thing I have to say is the lady at the store named Michelle with a curly hair she was so disrespectful over the phone and in person with me, and my family, hope HR do something with her at least a class in costumer services, and remark in traat with respect to all people no matter what race or color skin.

Tent sights with water and electric hookups should have a drain under the hose so sights don’t get flooded out. We loved our stay so much we added an extra night! Staff were so kind and work hard to keep everything so clean! Almost forgot we were at the beach there are so many things to do!

Me and my family loved to stay in KOA Virginia beach. All the services were A1 The only thing I would like if I return back, it’s to choose my place in the map because my place had too much sand. I wish I could have more grass.

We had a tent site and it was great. It was very spacious and close to the bathrooms, which is a bonus when you are in a tent. I loved that the bathrooms were just like a bathroom at home. That was really nice. And I truly appreciated not having to pay for my shower. I only wished the pool had been open. It looked like it was going to be amazing. Thanks for a great few days.

They were not a lot of things for kids to do. The water activity at front was a sprinkler for the kids to run through. The pool that was supposed to be done was not done, and it was just not a friendly kid place.

We usually love it here -which is why we come back every year. This time the bathrooms were dirtier than last year. Tent site with no power or water wasn’t worth $70 a night. And the tent sites were narrow and tiny but good thing I didn’t have a huge dome tent or it would not have worked. Pool seemed finished but wasn’t open (not a huge deal and I knew this when I booked).

My son and my grandson stayed there they were very happy with it I had a lot of fun we did come visit them there myself my daughter my granddaughter and my other grandson it was very clean people were very nice it was good I would recommend it to people

I was disappointed that we were put in the grassy field when it seemed like there were more campsites available. The grassy field was near a very strong light from the bathroom so it was not very restful

Needs to be more showers and restroom. Upset that the pool wasnt open. Doesnt give much more for big big tents. But other than that everything was amazing the employees where amazing

The stay was excellent. Facilities were well kept, up to date and clean. Shame about the pool not being open post renovation but I also understand that was out of KOA control. Keep up the good work.

My stay at the Virginia Beach KOA was the first time I have stay at a KOA. I can confidently say I will never stay at another campground. KOA offers amazing, friendly customer service, and more amenities than I could have ever imagined.

Overall very happy with our 1 night there. Staff was super friendly and the campground was very nice. Only complaint was that some of the bathrooms were a little dirty but nothing too bad!

Was not a lot of activities for kids to do. Giant water only open for 45 mins at a time. No family activities. Camping (tent) area very nice. Only if you went swimming or beach tent site had no place to dry towels. Was quite , enjoyed herein and seeing the jets fly by. Great space for riding bikes. Very clean shower and restroom very clean

I love this place!!! Kids Friendly❤️There is a public shower also. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but we extended 1 more night.

We have been staying here for the past 3 years and watched the campground evolve from being ok to awesome. It is well taken care of and many upgrades in the past year from the new pool, playground, landscaping, bathhouse updates and new pavement have really added to the beauty and camping experience. The general manager Kieth's passion and enthusiasm to make your camping experience a great one really shows.
