Volleyball players literally take over the campground this weekend! Spectators are welcome to come and watch: $8 per person entry fee at the gate goes to KOA Care Camps, which give a camping experience to children who are undergoing cancer treatment. Participants register at www.thedigs.net.

The Virginia International Tattoo, long regarded as the most patriotic of the world's great military tattoos, is a massive performance featuring a cast of 900+ from around the world. Performing groups include military bands, bagpipers, drill teams, dancers, choirs and more. The Virginia International Tattoo is the largest tattoo in the United States and thrills and inspires audiences young and old each spring.

Mid-June through Labor Day weekend, sidewalks and street corners are the stage at Live on Atlantic. Musicians and novelty acts perform along Atlantic Avenue, the “Main Street” of the Virginia Beach Resort. From 7:30 pm-11:00 pm, an eight-block corridor of Beach Street USA transforms into a magical world of its own that is part circus, part outdoor music festival, and part family fun!
You'll love the excitement of fireworks combined with the beautiful glow over the water! Fireworks are launched from the ocean near 22nd Street, but can be seen from anywhere along the Boardwalk. The oceanfront will come alive with the sounds of Christian/positive music. This completely family-friendly event will feature well-known national recording artists as well as local bands. The event concludes on Sunday at 10am with a church service.

Neptune Festival's International Sandsculpting Championship has distinguished itself as one of the most distinctive events of its kind in the United States. The annual Virginia Beach Neptune Festival is one of the country's Top 100 festivals and in the Top 10 on the East Coast. There are 40+ events, including sporting activities, the ever-popular International Sandsculpting Championship, Grand Parade, musical entertainment, Wine Festival, and much more. It culminates with the extremely popular Boardwalk Art Show September 27-29. Virginia Beach KOA will run a FREE shuttle to this and other Boardwalk events on September 28, 2019.
