Late Arrival

If you will be arriving after our Store/Registration Desk closes, please stop by the small guard shack clearly marked "Night Registration."

A. If you already have a reservation:  Look in the box on the side of the guard shack and you will find a Guest Services Guide with your name and site number written on it. Inside is a map, directing you to your site. When you get up in the morning, please stop in to the Store to complete your registration.

B. If you DO NOT have a reservation: Please choose an envelope in the box for the type of site you wish to have. Complete the envelope and put your payment information in it (cash or credit card information) and place it in the lockbox. Take a Guest Services Guide, and using the map inside, proceed to your site. When you get up in the morning, please stop in to the Store to complete your registration.

Note: Cabins are not available without a reservation being made prior to your arrival.

Your four-legged family members are welcome at Virginia Beach KOA, as long as they are not aggressive, are on a leash at all times, and are cleaned up after with waste disposed of properly. There is no charge for pets on campsites. For rental cabins: we have a limited number of pet-friendly Deluxe Cabins and Camping Cabins, for which we charge an additional pet cleaning fee of $25 per pet per stay. There's even a place for Fido to play within our Kamp K9®
Dog park
. They can run, jump and play in a secure fenced area. We have seating for you to watch your pup play and bags for clean up.

We love having people visit our park! If you wish to briefly tour the campground, you may do so from your car, observing our posted speed limits. If you are staying here, please note that until we are farther along in the COVID-19 re-opening phases, we cannot have ANY visitors other than those who are camping in your group. Please respect this for the safety of all and to assist us in following the guidelines.

When we can return to normal, if you are expecting visitors while you're here, please be aware that we do charge a modest visitor fee. When we ask for it, kindly understand that registering visitors with the office and paying the fee are necessary to help us cover the costs of additional people using our facilities, abide by local occupancy laws, provide security for our camping families, know who is on the property in case of emergency, and manage parking for the extra vehicles. All visitors must abide by the normal campground rules and leave the campground 30 minutes prior to Quiet Hours. Also, if you're planning a family reunion or party while you're staying here, please ask us about using our pavilion so as not to intrude on your camping neighbors.

Minimum Age

Rental cabins: A mature, responsible adult must make the reservation AND be staying in the unit. Minimum age to rent: Deluxe Cabin--21, Camping Cabin--18. Underage rentals will be cancelled and deposit returned. Minimum age to rent a tent site: 18.

Meet Your Hosts

Keith Stachurski

We want Virginia Beach KOA to be a get-away, where you can leave your worries and your to-do list behind.

The first qualities you'll notice about Keith Stachurski, General Manager of Virginia Beach KOA, are his enthusiasm and positive attitude. His favorite part of his job is greeting our guests and making sure the staff goes out of its way to make YOU feel welcome. In fact, you will often see Keith cruising around the campground, stopping by just to say “hello.”

Keith is passionate about creating a family-friendly atmosphere at Virginia Beach KOA. He wants this to be a place where you can build positive, lasting memories with your family, find a get-away from life's hectic pace, and have a “home base” while you enjoy all that Virginia Beach has to offer. He wants your experience at Virginia Beach KOA to be so great that you can't wait to tell your friends and family about it!

Keith, his wife, and two college-age children come from Wisconsin, where they managed a campground for several years. In their spare time, they like to head to the beach or enjoy the many local tourist attractions, just like everyone else! Keith also enjoys bowling and football.

No matter where he lives, he will always be a Green Bay Packer fan and a “Cheesehead” at heart.

Oh My, There's Nothing Here!

That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a Account.
