Most of the staff are rude & nasty. I was personally shouted at more than once by a member of staff because they do not know how to talk things out in a calm and normal way like adults should when there is a problem. The staff are racist & discriminatory. They called my son nasty names & was very mean to him with no just cause as he is a very polite & respectful young man. The police was not happy

We had a wonderful stay. The staff is extremely nice and all amenities are very clean. Even with the pool not being open, it was okay by our kiddos since the weather wasn't satisfactory and the water slide was fun. Only downfall was the shaved ice truck never showed up on Friday, so we had some disappointed children. We will be back and hopefully the pool will be open and fun will be had by all

Nice place to stay and relax with family and friends. Swimming pool is under construction. Clean bathrooms, excellent staff. Very close to the beach.

Excess of maintenance. Leaf blower, lawnmower almost the entire day. Way too much noise caused by maintenance team. Also a lot of barking. If I do camping it is to be quiet not for that crap.

It’s usually a great stay however, it’s disappointing the pool is under construction and the water slide was not in commission our entire stay. Also there were no activities going on. Honestly I will prob book at the holiday travel lodge for our next stay this summer because koa doesn’t have much to offer. In previous years it exceeded my expectations so not sure what changed.

The cabin was cozy, the grounds were well kept, and the bathrooms were clean. My family really enjoyed our stay!

I can not give a five on the account that i called with no answer sent a message no reply and informed staff that 752 was infested with ants and what looked like termites (or a flying insect) and they where inside the cabin in the couch in the kitchen area table drawers and along side the refrigerator. We noticed it second we arrived and all vacation we where the exterminators and it was not good

We came in November & loved it. I have just one issue. When we came in November the gas fire pits were not lit. I was told come in season. When we came in May Memorial Day weekend again they were not lit. I was now told it would be done 7/4. Both times it was chilly. This would have been a perfect time to light them & create the sense of community that Koa strives to be their mission.

Clean and organized campground. Loved the food trucks on the weekends. We also appreciated the trolley that has a stop at the campground and takes you to the boardwalk. We will return.

Not enough to do in the park for older kids. No pool. Need to do more acativies for campers during the week not just on holiday weekends. Camp ground was clean and quiet. Cabin was damaged and was not told about the damage before it was rented again. Were afraid that I was going to be charged for it. Your Koa is more for older folks not young families.

I enjoyed our stay even with the weather being bad. I loved the bus/trolley transportation. I do have one complaint and that was how fast people in cars/golf carts were driving through the campground. The Koa staff driving golf carts especially should know better, they almost hit my 7 year old because they were driving too fast and not paying attention.

I have stayed at Va Beach KOA for the past 10 years. I think I should have been told about the pool closures. You should not be able to charge top dollar prices when you’re not offering top quality services. When I booked this reservation nobody ever mentioned the pool construction. If I had known I probably would have went to Myrtle Beach.You should be upfront with your customers. Honesty is #

Excellent and comfortable stay despite the unforeseen weather. Staff was wonderful and courteous. My only compliant was our neighbors who constantly were disrespectful by walking through our campsite and congregating in our area on multiple occasions. The site was clean and bathrooms were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is an over-the-top family friendly campground. Our young nieces and nephews played until exhausted. Pretty close to the beach and other attractions plus nearby stores for supplies. Nice level spaces with good facilities. Will stay here again.

The Staff is very friendly and they keep the park very clean. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. It was also very relaxing at the same time. We will be going back!

We'd booked this 8 person deluxe cabin for Memorial Day weekend 2023 during Memorial Day 2022. When you book like this in advance, you cannot predict the weather obviously. It was rainy and windy but we had a great time. Clean campground, clean bathrooms and toilets. Front desk was super friendly too. Loved our stay here!

Staff is wonderful. Bath houses are cleaned frequently. Mirrors in the shower rooms would be a nice addition. Rather than quietly deleting the pool from the list of amenities on the website there should be an informational notice about it so that people know. Nobody wants to be surprised at check in when it’s too late.

Friendly staff- SUPER CLEAN! Great campsite/camp store -The only thing is I KEEP getting txts to extend my stay- pls send these less often and stop sending them after we leave. I got them before we came down- ok I get that, the entire week I was there in the am- and we’ve been home for 4 days and STILL getting the messages to extend my stay- also camp was full so we couldn’t anyway! Frustratin

The campground was very peaceful, clean, and plenty of activities for the kids. The staff was professional and willing to assist with issues or questions about near by attractions.

We got a pull through site that was very small, we had to park the truck in a grassy area next to the camper ( thankfully we were on an end spot). When we went to leave even though our site was a pull through we had to back the 44ft camper out of the spot!! The spot was definitely not met for a rig our size! On a happy note the people in the office made check in breeze!

Got terrible Neighbors: 1 side smoking marihuana all time, and for the other side having party until very late 2 or 3 am. Heavy noise of music that my kids could not sleep. Nobody enforces the quite time.

I chose KOA because I craved an alternative to the typical hotel/motel thing. And I'm glad I did!! From the moment that I checked in till the moment I left I was treated like a celebrity. Virginia (VA) helped me find the perfect site (286) and was always available to answer any questions I had. The golf-cart Crew were all friendly and approachable. I look forward to my return visit.

Very disappointed pool was not open. The email I received implied it was possible it would be, so we continued our plans, but upon arrival found a massive construction zone. We had a very disappointed grandson with us. Not happy at all. More honesty would have been nice.

We stayed 2 nights in an rv site then 5 nights in a tent site; we stayed in our camper van. The property is very well maintained, facilities are kept clean and the personnel were friendly and helpful. This KOA is everything you would expect a KOA to be.

A very nice campground with lots to do, especially for kids. Also I would like to recommend Eagle RV who came out to fix our kitchen sink leak (I believe they are new to that campground).

Super cool spot with lots to do. Only bad thing is that when we booked they never told us their pool would be out of commission. Didnt offer any better rate, hust told us too bad... we fo love the KOA juat lame service...
